For this purpose, a quantitative, pre-experimental, explanatory and field study was designed, applied to a sample of 24 students from the “Genesis” Educational Unit. The intervention consisted of a six-week program, with two weekly sessions, focused on specific soccer passing exercises. The Ladder Test and the 3JS Test were used as instruments to evaluate the levels of general eye-foot coordination and object control, both before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant improvement: in the general test, 100% of the students started from a low level, while, after the intervention, 95.8% reached the medium level. In the object control, 45.8% started at a low level and 54.2% at a medium level, with 37.5% subsequently reaching a high level. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test confirmed significant differences between pre- and post-intervention measurements, which leads to the conclusion that passing as a technical foundation in soccer has a positive impact on the development of the coordination of eye-footwork.Item Mini atletismo en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la técnica de la carrera en estudiantes de educación general básica media(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-07) Rodríguez Chiluisa Milton Isacc; Castro Pantoja Edison Andrés; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe purpose of this research was to analyze how mini-athletics influences the teachinglearning process of running technique in students of General Basic Secondary Education. We worked with 18 students of the Gregoire Girard Educational Unit, during six weeks, applying a pedagogical proposal based on playful and structured activities typical of mini athletics. Biomechanical aspects such as hip, knee and ankle angles, contact and flight times, as well as qualitative variables such as body alignment, braking and regularity of movement were evaluated using Kinovea software. The results showed a marked improvement between the initial and final evaluation. At the beginning, 55.6% of the students had inadequate technique, but after the intervention, 72.2% reached an adequate or highly adequate level. The statistical T-Student test confirmed that the differences were significant (p ≤ 0.05), thus supporting the hypothesis that mini-athletics contributes positively to the technical learning of running. In summary, this experience demonstrates that mini-athletics is not only a fun way to learn, but also an effective strategy to improve technical skills. The combination of technological tools, movement analysis and active pedagogy makes this proposal a valuable, inclusive and easy-to-apply alternative in school environmentsItem Prácticas gimnásticas en las capacidades físicas de los estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato general unificado(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-07) Valencia Núñez Elvis Jesús; Loaiza Dávila Lenin Esteban; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteIn the present research work with the topic “Gymnastic practices in the physical capacities of students in the second year of General Unified High School”, was carried out with the objective of determining the incidence of the application of gymnastic practices in the improvement of physical capacities, with a sample of 15 students (8 men and 7 women) corresponding to the second year of High School ‘A’ of the Educational Unit “Honduras” of the city of Ambato. This research is based on the construction of learning and seeks to promote the appropriate and responsible use of virtual platforms, preventing students from experiencing distractions. Rather, it serves as a pedagogical resource that helps students develop their skills and attitudes, improve their communication skills, and practice collaborative work. The research employs a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative), using techniques such as a survey and interview with a 10-question item addressed to teachers and students. This was done with the aim of collecting statistical data on the use of social media in school learning. The results show that teachers do not have a complete understanding of whether or not students use social media for educational purposes. Barriers were noted, such as a lack of educational methods and tools to help strengthen their learning and a need to consider how the use of social media can also help strengthen their knowledge and improve their school environment. This project worked with 20 students and a Natural Sciences teacher. The research concluded with the need to prepare and train teachers with strategies and methods to help them understand this new digital education, promoting pedagogical practices that integrate communication, skills, collaborative work, creativity, and problem-solving. This approach is aligned with the needs of the current educational context.
