Item Juegos deportivos en la velocidad de desplazamiento de estudiantes de bachillerato general unificado(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-04) Aponte Garcés Kevin Patricio; Castro Acosta Washington Ernesto; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of sports games in the improvement of the speed of displacement of first year students of the Unified General High School in the “Sagrada Familia” Educational Unit, during the period March-July 2025. Through a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design, the T-Drill Test was applied before and after an intervention based on sports games, to a sample of 30 randomly selected students. The intervention was developed during six months, with a weekly session, integrated to the Physical Education classes. The results obtained show a significant improvement in the speed of movement. The average time recorded in the test went from 9.48 seconds in the pretest to 9.03 seconds in the post-test. In addition, the percentage of students placed in the “Excellent” level increased from 63.3% to 86.7%, while the “Low” levels disappeared and the ‘Average’ and “Good” levels were reduced. Statistical analysis using the related samples t-test yielded a value of p = 0.000, indicating a statistically significant difference between pre- and post-intervention measurements. In conclusion, sports games proved to be an effective pedagogical strategy to develop the ability to move in adolescents. Its systematic incorporation into the Physical Education curriculum is recommended, together with regular follow-up by means of a physical education instrument. Statistical analysis using the related samples t-test yielded a value of p = 0.000, indicating a statistically significant difference between pre- and post-intervention measurements.Item Fundamentos técnicos del futsal en la coordinación óculo-motriz de estudiantes de educación general básica superior(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-04) Ibáñez Figueroa Bryan Israel; Sailema Torres Ángel Aníbal; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe present research examines the incidence of the technical fundamentals of futsal in relation to the oculo-motor coordination of the students of Higher General Basic Education of the La Salle Educational Unit, in the academic period March-July 2025. It appears as a response to the need to add some innovative pedagogical strategies that maximize motor development in the educational context. The study was carried out under a quantitative approach, with a pre-experimental design with an explanatory scope. The sample consisted of 30 students selected by non-probabilistic sampling. The focal instrument used was the 3JS motor coordination test, which made it possible to evaluate the level of eye-motor coordination before and after the intervention. This research developed a training program based on the technical fundamentals of futsal, directed in 6 weeks in physical education classes. The results showed great differences in all the variables studied, such as precision striking, driving and eye-motor coordination. The statistical analysis showed significant differences between the pre and post-test intervention values with a value of (p = 0.000), which certifies the effectiveness of the proposal. In addition, it was observed that 96.7% of the students overcame the low level, reaching high average results at the end of the program. As a main conclusion, it is decided that futsal in pedagogical applications and from a well-structured methodological approach, reaches a positive impact on the development of eye-motor coordination. It is recommended to add this discipline to the school curriculum as an effective tool to reinforce motor skills and favor significant learning.Item Las actividades recreativas y el turismo millenial en el casco urbano de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-04) Santamaría Sánchez Cynthia Paola; Hidalgo Salazar Christian Andrés; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThe analysis of recreational activities is of great importance as it covers several topics related to tourism and education. Therefore, its objective is to investigate the relationship between recreational activities and millennial tourism in the urban area of Ambato, in order to identify the city's recreational offerings and its millennial segment preferences. The importance of the study lies in implementing a recreational activity to attract this segment that seeks innovative, sustainable, technological, and authentic experiences through experiences that connect with the interests of this segment, who prioritize their needs based on interaction during their trips. The methodology applied in the research is based on a mixed approach, with a descriptive research scope. In addition, instruments such as observation sheets visiting museums, country houses, parks, and shopping centers were used for direct observation of existing recreational activities, and surveys were applied to 250 people from the millennial segment based on age range, in order to analyze and observe their tourism preferences. Results show that Ambato has a wide range of cultural and environmental tourism offerings, however, it is not aligned with the preferences and expectations of this segment. Based on the data obtained, an escape room based on Ambato's history and culture is proposed. This room will involve solving puzzles using technology, aiming to innovate the city's tourism offerings.Item Actividad física en la autoestima de estudiantes de bachillerato general unificado(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-04) Andachi Rivera Erick Alejandro; Mocha Bonilla Julio Alfonso; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe study entitled “Physical activity in the self-esteem of General Unified Baccalaureate students” had as its primary objective to determine the impact of physical activity on the self-esteem levels of first-year BGU students at the “Sagrada Familia” Educational Unit in the canton of Ambato. To this end, a pre-experimental study with a quantitative approach was conducted, in which the Rosenberg Test was administered in a PRE and POST period to a six-month intervention program based on physical activity. The sample consisted of 30 students, selected through nonprobabilistic convenience sampling. The methodology considered empirical and statistical techniques, implementing a descriptive and inferential analysis using SPSS software. During the pretest stage, it was identified that 56.7% of the students had low or medium levels of self-esteem. After the intervention, a significant change was evident: 93.3% achieved high levels of self-esteem, and none remained at the low level. The results validated the alternative hypothesis, confirming that regular physical activity has a positive impact on adolescents' self-esteem. The increase in test scores and the shift from low to high levels reiterate the favorable impact of the intervention. In conclusion, physical activity is established as a comprehensive educational tool that not only benefits physical development but also strengthens students' emotional and social well-being.Item El aprendizaje kinestésico en la enseñanza aprendizaje de la matemática en los estudiantes de tercer grado de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa “Jerusalén” de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Básica, 2025-07-04) Muñoz Meneses Abigail Estefanía; Yungán Yungán Raúl; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación BásicaThe aim of this research was to analyze the influence of kinesthetic learning on the teaching and learning process of mathematics among third-grade students of Basic General Education at the “Jerusalén” Educational Unit in Ambato. A mixed methodology (qualitative and quantitative) was used, with an exploratory and descriptive approach, and conducted as field research. Data were collected through techniques such as structured observation, a teacher interview, and a diagnostic evaluation administered to the students. Previously validated instruments were used. The study population consisted of 17 students and one teacher, all of whom participated voluntarily. The results showed that a considerable percentage of students exhibit characteristics of the kinesthetic learning style and that pedagogical strategies based on this modality enhance motivation, participation, and understanding of mathematical concepts. To discuss the findings, statistical tables and graphs were generated which facilitated the analysis and interpretation of each research question. It is concluded that kinesthetic learning is an effective tool for improving both performance and attitude toward mathematics in third-grade children, provided that institutional support and teacher training are in place for its systematic and appropriate implementation.Item Las técnicas artesanales y la experiencia turística en el cantón Tisaleo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-04) Miranda Velastegui Cristina Elizabeth; Viteri Toro Maria Fernanda; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThis research, entitled "Artisan Techniques and the Tourism Experience in the Tisaleo Canton," was developed with the objective of investigating the relationship between artisan techniques and the tourism experience in the Tisaleo Canton. The importance of this study lies in the need to adapt existing artisan techniques in the Tisaleo Canton to a tourism experience in order to promote tourism development, the dissemination of ancestral knowledge and wisdom, and economic improvement for artisans. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, utilizing instruments such as the A5 sheets of traditional artisan techniques from the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and the checklist, which allowed for direct information gathering from the canton's artisans regarding artisan techniques. The results show that, despite limitations such as the lack of tourism planning and promotion, cultural tourism has contributed significantly to the economy of the canton's inhabitants, the valorization of cultural identity, and tourism development. In conclusion, experiential tourism is a viable means of local development, provided it is complemented by workshops, training for artisans, support from state institutions, and strategies for improved tourism development and performance.Item Efecto de la aplicación de videojuegos activos (exergames) con retroalimentación kinestésica en el desarrollo de la coordinación dinámica general de estudiantes de educación general básica(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-04) Bustillos Freire Erick Steven; Sánchez Guerrero Mentor Javier; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of the use of active video games (exergames) with kinesthetic feedback in the development of general dynamic coordination in Elementary General Basic Education students. This study is based on the obligation to innovate the pedagogical methods of physical education through interactive technologies that encourage body movement and contribute to motor learning. This study was carried out by means of a quantitative methodology, with a pre-experimental field design, through the application of an intervention plan with a duration of six weeks with a population selected by coexistence sampling of 14 students. The ball zigzag test was used to evaluate the general dynamic coordination before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software, determining some significant differences in the levels of general dynamic coordination with a value of (p = 0.000). The results showed a substantial improvement, with 28.6% of the group focusing on a high level of coordination, while this figure rose to 71.4%. All students showed progress, being essentially noticeable in some students who were at low or medium levels. In conclusion, this research demonstrated that adding exergames with kinesthetic feedback positively affects the development of students' overall dynamic coordination. This proposal not only makes physical education classes more dynamic but rather is an alternative to develop basic motor skills for children. Systematic implementation in educational contexts is recommended, with adjustments in the pedagogical design in the school environment, in order to maximize coordination, motivation and participation of students.Item Herramientas tecnológicas en el desarrollo del pensamiento lógico(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Psicopedagogía, 2025-07-04) Toa Pacha Cristina Belén; Gavilanes López Wilma Lorena; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de PsicopedagogíaThe purpose of this research project was to analyze the relationship between the use of technological tools and the development of logical thinking in sixth-grade students at the "Gonzales Suarez" Educational Unit. To this end, a sample of 46 students was used. Regarding the methodology, a mixed-method approach was adopted, which allowed for a more complete and enriching data collection. The methodology was field-based and bibliographic-documentary, based on exploratory, descriptive, and correlational levels. The theoretical foundation for the variables was then developed, and various instruments were applied to assess the development of logical thinking. A curricular competency test (PCC) was used, which was administered to students through a pre-test and a post-test. The intervention was based on the planned application of technological tools such as Educaplay and Liverwork. Subsequently, the TAM Model questionnaire was used to determine the level of technological acceptance of these tools. For statistical analysis, the Student t-test for related samples and the nonparametric Wilcoxon test were used, which showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. The findings allowed us to accept the alternative hypothesis, demonstrating that the appropriate use of digital tools positively impacts the development of logical thinking in students. This confirms that the timely and strategic implementation of technological resources contributes significantly to strengthening skills within the classroom.Item La identidad cultural y la actividad turística; caso de estudio: fiesta de los caporales, parroquia Angamarca(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-04) López Cordones Ruth Nayeli; Viteri Toro María Fernanda; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThis research, entitled "Cultural Identity and Tourism; Case Study: Caporales Festival, Angamarca Parish," was developed with the objective of investigating the relationship between the cultural identity of the Caporales Festival of Angamarca and tourism activity. The importance of this research lies in the valorization of the living traditions of the Caporales Festival as an expression of cultural identity and its potential as a tourist attraction. This celebration is characterized by the presence of symbolic figures such as the Recuante, the Doña, the Caporal, the Capitana, the Chinas, the Guaricha, the Yumbos, and the Payaso, whose representations embody collective memory, the feminine role, popular spirituality, and the ancestral work of the community. The methodology applied was qualitative, using instruments such as index cards and observation, where we conducted semi-structured interviews with local stakeholders and observations. As a result, it was evident that despite limited promotion and a lack of tourism planning, the cultural event of the Caporales festival generates interest in tourists and strengthens cultural pride among residents, highlighting the authenticity, identity, and symbolic richness of each festive figure. In conclusion, well-planned tourism activities within the parish are an effective strategy for boosting community tourism and enhancing cultural identity, provided that tourism services are well planned and implemented.Item La cultura culinaria y la experiencia turística en la fiesta de la fruta y de las flores(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-04) Chizag Azogue Alex Henry; Torres Oñate Camilo Francisco; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThe traditional gastronomy of Ambato is a living cultural manifestation that transmits identity through its flavors, techniques and local products, while the tourist experience evaluates the visitor's perception when interacting with the destination's environment. When integrated, both variables strengthen the cultural connection between tourists and the place visited, we propose to investigate the culinary culture and its impact on the tourist experience during the Fiesta de la Fruta y de las Flores. It was developed under a quantitative approach, non-experimental and crosssectional design. Two instruments were used to collect the data: for the “culinary culture”, the Food Atlas cards to record the primary products and the elaboration of typical dishes; for the “tourist experience” variable, a structured survey with a Likert scale applied to 203 visitors was used. The data were analyzed in the SPSS program and the Chi-square test, the results showed that the gastronomy of the city of Ambato generates satisfaction in tourists and awakens interest in learning more about the destination. It was concluded that the culinary culture has a positive influence on the visitor's experience and its incorporation into the event contributes to improving the competitiveness of the destination.
