To establish the baseline of the language development of the child population, an initial pre-test assessment was carried out, for which the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Aptitudes (ITPA) is used, which consists of 11 sub-tests, which are grouped into 2 channels, the first five sub test the visual-motor canal and the next 6 would be in the auditory-vocal canal. They refer to the receptive, organizing, and expressive processes, all counting on a representative and automatic level. From this baseline, auditory and Tutor: Hidalgo Morales, Kattyta Patricia Licda.Mg. 15 motor training is applied in a way that allows taking advantage of the abilities, which allows linking motor action and the sense of sounds with oral articulation (words or phrases), in children with language delay. Therefore, the second post-test evaluation of the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Aptitudes (ITPA) is carried out, to make a comparison between the results obtained after the application of the program through the auditory motor training of the Auditory Motor Mapping Training method aimed at girls and boys from 3 to 4 years old, from the neuropsychology and neurosensory stimulation center of the city of Santo Domingo. The research obtains positive results, through the analysis and interpretation of the discrepancies in the representative and automatic level. This change causes changes in the development and functioning of motor skills, cognitive, social and language; and body systems leading to delays in these areas to varying degrees. The general objective was to establish the benefits of the Benson Schaeffer Method for language development in patients with Down Syndrome. We worked through a clinical case analysis using an anamnesis card, in addition to the clinical history and the interview technique. The results obtained through the Rossetti Child Language Assessment Scale show the low points obtained by the patient, since these indicate a setback of 12 to 15 months, which for the scale is a serious warning sign, the girl in He is currently 2 years 2 months old and is making a great recovery in the area of language. In the other areas the patient is in a normal range. It was evidenced that the Benson Schaffer method of total communication is of great help to potentiate the language area where through the test it was known that the patient has warning signs, the method is new and innovative that can be applied and with the reinforcements and activities, good results can be obtained. Total communication as a language development program also serves to strengthen attention, concentration and memory, making it a complete program for the entire language area. The decrease in the size of the head circumference or microcephaly, is one of the alterations that occur due to inadequate cranial growth or the central nervous system, which can occur due to congenital factors in prenatal patients, as well as in postnatal stages. Detection can be done by structural ultrasound between 18 to 24 weeks of gestation, or with fetal magnetic resonance imaging to assess for alterations in brain development. This case study aims to establish Early Stimulation Therapies for a patient diagnosed with this disease at an early age. The Research Patient Line is comprehensive care for people with special abilities, with impairment of their neuropsychomotor development. An evaluation of each clinical history of the Health Center where she was treated is carried out, and the different complications of neurodevelopment and intellectual disability are analyzed, as well as ophthalmological problems, among others, to suggest the best treatment from the critical points. identified. The improvement opportunities that are worked on in this research are related to the senses of touch, Hearing, Visual, Olfactory, Gustatory and Vestibular. Mg.Psychomotor development is one of the fundamental pillars within infant evolution that is closely related to the maturation of the cognitive area through the perception of extroceptive and introceptive stimuli. The purpose of this work is to determine the relationship between psychomotor development and the cognitive area in children ages 2 to 3 at the Early Stimulation Laboratory of the Technical University of Ambato. The work included a descriptive study with a quantitative qualitative approach to the total of children with the age range attended by the laboratory to which. The results show that the child that the child who develops psychomotor development expected for his age also has an auspicious development in the cognitive area.Item Estimulación temprana en el desarrollo psicomotor de una paciente con parálisis cerebral espástica cuadripléjica(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2021-11-01) Miniguano Barrionuevo, Gabriela Stephany; Garófalo Espinel, Ana Cristina Dra.The purpose of this clinical case analysis is to determine the influence of early stimulation through the application of the sensory integration method in the psychomotor development of a patient who has quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy, being a qualitative investigation, the characteristics of the neuromuscular disorder and its complications. Quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy is considered a group of postural tone and movement disorders, in which the pyramidal pathway is affected, it is characterized by stiffness in the muscles of the upper and lower limbs, causing limitations in movement and in skill development. The diagnosis of this case is in a patient of 1 year 9 months of age female, with affectation in the psychomotor development, the Haizea Llevant test was applied, obtaining as a result a deficit in the areas of socialization, language and mathematical logic, manipulation and in the posture, therefore, the need to investigate a method within the early stimulation that allows you to work all the affected areas is determined. An intervention plan is described, focused on the work of the exteroceptive and interoceptive sensory systems, to decrease muscle tone, improve posture, coordination and cognitive functions in an integrative way. Mg.The present work aims to design an intervention program in Early Stimulation in a patient with global developmental delay and generalized epilepsy of unknown semiology diagnosed, being a qualitative research, describing the characteristics of the pathology and the consequences or collateral effects in the evolutionary development of the patient. Epilepsy is a neurological condition characterized by recurrent "seizures". The present case was diagnosed in a 2-year-3-month-old male patient, with repercussions on the evolutionary development of the child, the Abbreviated Development Scale EAD-3 was applied, obtaining as a result lags in development that translate into a global delay, for which the design of an intervention program in Early Stimulation is taken as part of the complementary treatment that includes treatments with scientific and technological base, which involve both the knowledge of the development patterns followed by infants as well as the techniques and methods to achieve lagging skills.Item Aplicación del yoga infantil en la potenciación de la motricidad gruesa en niños de 4 a 5 años(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2021-10-01) Casanova Torres, Andrea Cristina; Tayo , Ana Cristina Lcda Mg.The present investigative work of Early Stimulation had as a primary question to establish the importance of yoga in enhancing gross motor skills in children aged 4 to 5 years in the province of Tungurahua in the Period - August 2021, based on the importance it has the correct motor development in children until observing how, by using yoga, this area can be optimized. We will analyze how the Ventura method, which was designed in Peru, South America, can be implemented as a new technique and methodology to be applied in the Early Attention programs and thus achieve significant advances in the development of language in children. For this process, it was decided to carry it out in a private office with a great affluence of patients, most of whom attend due to speech alterations or difficulties without having a base pathology or medical etiology. This is evidenced by the individualized anamnesis for each child, and for this purpose the Del Rio Test was used, which takes into account the different areas of language, including expressive language, which is a key point of the research project. After selecting the children to be part of the application of this project, the individualized sessions were carried out with their respective Early Attention programming through the Ventura method, obtaining the expected results in 3 months. At the end of the investigation, the effectiveness of the Ventura method was demonstrated, with the result that the girls presented greater advances, 46.67% of excellence in comparison to the boys with 30.76%, with a margin of little effectiveness of 6.67% on the part of the girls and 15.38% on the part of the boysItem Musicoterapia y estimulación sensorial enfocado en el síndrome west con alteración del desarrollo psicomotor, mediante el uso del método padovan(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2021-10-01) Paucar Apupalo, Jimson Abraham; Tayo Pazmiño, Ana Cristina Lcda. Mg.West syndrome or childhood spasms is an epileptic encephalopathy or brain disorder of unknown origin, characterized by the triad of infantile spasms, hypsarrhythmia and developmental regression, affects global development, being the psychomotor area the most affected. It has an incidence of 1 per 4,000 live births and predominates in males. There is no specific factor on this anomaly, the World Health Organization through the CIE-10 assigns it as G409 (Epilepsies, unspecified type). The objective of this research is to determine the benefits of the Padovan Method for the advancement of head control in a patient with West Syndrome, the present case is a 5- year-old female patient, who presents alteration in all areas of development, being the psychomotor area the most affected, in which stereotyped movements typical of the syndrome can be observed. The Padovan Method or Neurofunctional reorganization, is a process that combines neuroevolutionary and neurovegetative movements to adapt them peripherally to the nervous system in the form of stimuli. This methodology will be accompanied by music therapy and sensory stimulation to have greater effectiveness in the Early Stimulation sessions.
