(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2024-05-01) Jordan Manzano, Daysi Estefania; Hidalgo Morales, Kattyta Patricia Lcda.Mg.
The present research is developed with the theme "Influence of the Auditory Motor Mapping Training method as a tool to facilitate language development in children of 3-4 years in the center of neuropsychology and neurosensory stimulation of the city of Santo Domingo", with a population of 15 children in the age range of 3-4 years of which 5 infants are female and 10 are male. To establish the baseline of the language development of the child population, an initial pre-test assessment was carried out, for which the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Aptitudes (ITPA) is used, which consists of 11 sub-tests, which are grouped into 2 channels, the first five sub test the visual-motor canal and the next 6 would be in the auditory-vocal canal. They refer to the receptive, organizing, and expressive processes, all counting on a representative and automatic level. From this baseline, auditory and Tutor: Hidalgo Morales, Kattyta Patricia Licda.Mg. 15 motor training is applied in a way that allows taking advantage of the abilities, which allows linking motor action and the sense of sounds with oral articulation (words or phrases), in children with language delay. Therefore, the second post-test evaluation of the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Aptitudes (ITPA) is carried out, to make a comparison between the results obtained after the application of the program through the auditory motor training of the Auditory Motor Mapping Training method aimed at girls and boys from 3 to 4 years old, from the neuropsychology and neurosensory stimulation center of the city of Santo Domingo. The research obtains positive results, through the analysis and interpretation of the discrepancies in the representative and automatic level. Auditory Motor Mapping Training method as a treatment plan with an Early Stimulation approach to increase comprehension and articulatory language.

Child development is characterized by being a priority process, with a high degree of brain plasticity, being essential to provide adequate conditions for brain functions to be established, if the process is interrupted by environmental, psychological, social and cultural factors, it shows the appearance possible affectations or delay in their development, deteriorating the quality of life of the child population. It is essential to address this problem correctly, through the timely detection of anomalies in the different areas of development; to establish early intervention strategies, in order to avoid and reduce risks that may alter its evolution. Quantitative study, which will allow the analysis of cognitive development in order to promote it through the use of early stimulation techniques in a population of 25 infants, attended in the Parish of Cunchibamba; chosen by inclusion and exclusion criteria. An evaluation test was obtained for the collection of information and the baseline of cognitive development was established. Research that is framed with a legal and ethical basis for its respective execution, which facilitated access to the homes of the infants for their respective evaluations through the McCarthy Scale, specifically the General Cognitive Scale, concluding with the results of the child population, Based on this, criteria will be established for the creation of the Early Stimulation Guide. The analysis of a second evaluation by the professional in charge is carried out, in which an advance in cognitive development is evidenced since 92% at the end of the intervention are in normal cognitive development and only 8% are on alert - low indicator, the intervention of the use of the Early Stimulation Guide being satisfactory.

Child psychomotor development refers to various areas of development such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills, hearing, and language, as well as personal change motor skill develops as the child imitates, explores, and acts, whereas the fine motor skill has to do with the coordination of movements that help writing, which implies the dominance of one hemisphere, that is, right or left, when talking about language development, it is mentioned that it is a slow and gradual process that occurs as the child experiences and interacts with the environment around him, the personal and social area focuses all the emotions and relationships the child has with other people in his immediate environment, as well as social interactions. The problems in the psychomotor development of children under five years of age arise due to the confinement that had to be experienced by COVID - 19 presented in the country, a factor that directly influences the development and future learning of children. The present research has the main objective to establish the level of psychomotor development of the children of 3 and 4 years at Initial Education Center "Querubines" to identify the criteria that allow to make a stimulation’s guide to promote the psychomotor development of children who return to attendance face to face

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud / Centro de posgrados, 2022-05-01) Chuquitarco Escobar, Lorena Elizabeth Lcda.; Lcda. Mg. Raza Suarez., María Cristina
Currently, the survival of premature babies has increased considerably, and although most of them grow normally; some have permanent sequelae that can be serious; Among the most common are alterations in neurodevelopment, which can be addressed through early stimulation techniques and activities and improve the quality of life of premature infants. In this way, the objective of this study was to design an early stimulation manual for the development of premature children in the outpatient service; Through a longitudinal investigation of 17 premature babies with corrected age referred to the External Consultation for Early Stimulation at the Hospital General Latacunga 4 of 3 months, 4 of 2 months and 9 of 1 month; to whom an initial evaluation was applied to determine their deficiencies in development through the Denver II Test and define the activities of the manual; In addition, a systematic review of scientific information was carried out that contributed to the foundation of the manual; Subsequently, a review of the manual was carried out through expert judgment and the calculation of the CVC, to finally measure the differences between the measures before and after the proposed intervention. The results showed significant differences in motor areas (fine and gross) for the three groups of children, while in the personal-social and language area there were no significant differences. Thus, it can be concluded that early stimulation in a programmed manner can contribute to the adequate development of premature children, especially favoring their fine and gross motor skills.

MSc.
The investigation arises due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It affected the development of children and people in general because the confinement and other restrictions made the education system go online, which will leave a series of consequences, among which we can mention school backwardness, lack of autonomy, and even the fear of peer interaction. For this reason, the aim of this research is to establish the level of development of children under four years old at the Angela Muñoz Child Development Center to identify criteria that allow the development of a motor story. Thus, a methodology with a quantitative approach to the quasi-experimental was applied. In addition, this research complied with all the Helsinki bioethical principles, to avoid producing any type of inconvenience or problem with the study population. The results obtained in the pre-test determined that, in global development, 56.7% is doubtful and 23.3% abnormal. Therefore, it is evident that there are shortcomings in the development of these groups of children; however, after the application of the motor story, based on the results of the post-test, only 3% remained in a negative development. In conclusion, the application of the motor story is considered a very useful tool because it helps children to develop properly, and adapt to their environment after having lived in confinement for approximately two years.

Mg.
The objective of this research work is to analyze the complications in the development shown by a patient with periventricular leukomalacia, this being a qualitative research Because it exposes the characteristics of the disease and complications that it presents in its evolution, periventricular leukomalacia is an anatomical-pathological lesion secondary to a hypoxic-ischemic episode, and may present death, damage or softening of the white matter, this is the internal part of the brain that transmits information between the spinal cord and different parts of it, damage that occurs as its name indicates around the ventricles that contain cerebrospinal fluid, which can affect nerve cells that control motor movements, leading to spasticity in the muscles, resistance or tension to In addition, this can be accompanied by intellectual and learning difficulties, in more severe cases it can be accompanied by cerebral palsy. This disease was diagnosed in a 2-year-old patient, currently psychomotor development has presented a delay for its chronological age, also presenting hypersensitivity to certain textures, difficulty in acquiring the walk, also showing a clear cognitive delay and difficulty. Adaptive to new places and people. As it is a poorly studied and difficult to diagnose case, it is proposed to analyze the characteristics of the disease and its possible complications.
