Educación intercultural y participación comunitaria

Intercultural education is essential in the Salasaka community; it helps us keep our cultural identity alive and promote community participation. Currently, globalization and modernization, along with shifting interests among young people, have led to a decline in the transmission of ancestral knowledge and participation in community activities. The objective was to determine the influence of intercultural education on community participation among young people. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach and involved 15 young people from the Salasaka parish. The technique used was a semi-structured interview consisting of 9 prepared questions. Based on the creation of a predefined matrix, categories related to interculturality, ancestral knowledge, cultural identity, mingas, youth leadership, social participation, and community strengthening were identified. The analysis and coding of the data were performed using ATLAS.ti software. It was evident that community participation strengthened leadership, shared responsibility, and a sense of belonging among the youth. Additionally, challenges related to generational changes, sociocultural transformations, and the use of technological resources were identified. Among the factors contributing to intercultural education, the transmission of knowledge, the use of the Quichua language, local customs, and community life were identified as elements that strengthened and promoted cultural identity among young people.

The purpose of this research work is to determine the importance of the labor insertion of the social worker in the educational field, to identify the functions he performs, to analyze the main challenges he faces and to describe the experiences lived by the professionals who are incorporated in this context. The research is developed within a qualitative approach, under an exploratory and descriptive level, which facilitated a detailed understanding of the complex reality from the voice of the professionals. The analytical-synthetic method was applied, complemented by the inductive one, which favored a comprehensive reflection on the role of Social Work in education. The research modality was bibliographic and field. The bibliographic part allowed to theoretically substantiate the central categories of analysis, while the fieldwork was carried out through structured interviews which were applied to fifteen social workers who currently work in educational institutions. The data collection made it possible to identify a series of fundamental functions that these professionals fulfill, including psychosocial accompaniment to students and families, inter-institutional articulation, and the promotion of school coexistence. Likewise, structural challenges such as the lack of institutional recognition, job insecurity and scarce presence in the education system are evident. The findings allow us to conclude that the presence of the social worker in the educational field is essential to comprehensively address the social problems that affect the teaching-learning processes, and provide key elements to consider their formal incorporation into educational policies.

Single-parent families are characterized by the presence of a single parent who assumes responsibility for the upbringing of their children, in recent times single-parenthood has increased significantly worldwide, experiencing social, economic and above all emotional difficulties and challenges at the family level. The main objective of the research is to analyze the relationship between resilience and empowerment in students from single-parent families of the "Gabriela Mistral" Educational Unit of the city of Latacunga - Ecuador, using a quantitative approach methodology with a descriptive-correlational level, the study population consisted of 31 unified general high school students, with an age range between 15 and 17 years. and their respective mothers. For the study of the resilience variable, the RESI-M questionnaire by Palomar & Gómez (2010) was used, which is composed of 5 dimensions of 43 questions, and, for the empowerment variable, the IMEM questionnaire by Hernández & García (2008) was used, which contains 7 dimensions of 34 questions. The results indicated that there is no significant relationship between resilience and empowerment in students, in addition it was found that the level of resilience in students is medium, which indicates that although they know how to act in adverse situations, they still face limitations to develop their resilient capacity, in the same way, the empowerment of mothers has a medium level, since, although they are in control of their lives, there are barriers that prevent them from fully developing their autonomy

Sex education today is influenced by social, cultural factors, family traditions, religion, friends and their context in general; family and formal education is an important part of adolescent sexuality training, it is said that to avoid unwanted pregnancies or sexually transmitted diseases, adults avoid talking about sexual education because they assure that they are not old enough, that is where they seek information elsewhere such as the internet or their friends. The information that parents provide to their children will be essential in starting early sexual activity. Work was carried out with 125 high school students from the "Belisario Quevedo" Educational Unit of Pujili Canton, the research was carried out with the mixed method, the qualitative method provided an analysis, interpretation and discussion of results, and through the quantitative method a previously validated instrument was applied. That allowed to obtain reliable statistical data, the union of these methods will allow to determine the existing correlation between the two variables. The correct application of the instrument and with the help of the verification of hypotheses, it canbe demonstrated that taboos do influence the sexual education of adolescents, also demonstrating that the information that teachers and parents provide is essential for a good comprehensive education in sexuality. Finally, a brief program proposal was implemented with the aim of guiding adolescents and guiding them to a healthy and responsible sexual life

Ecuador is proclaimed by the Constitution of the Republic (2008), as an intercultural and plurinational State, which admits the existence of 14 indigenous nationalities that have developed their own language as a natural means of communication. In this context, the Supreme Law recognizes the right that indigenous communities, peoples and nationalities have to receive a relevant education that allows full command of their language. In this way, the Principle of Interculturality in Education proposes the decomposition of linguistic hegemony, with the introduction of at least one ancestral language in the study curricula, Kichwa being an official language of intercultural relations, whose protection reaffirms the right to a bilingual intercultural education. The importance and timeliness of this research has its origin in the Resolution issued by the ONU on December 18, 2019, with which it proclaims the period 2022-2032 as the Decade of Indigenous Languages, in the face of the world crisis that it forecasts. the loss of at least 90% of the linguistic heritage. Due to the above, the present work aims to demonstrate how the right to the teaching of the Kichwa language influences the Principle of Interculturality, for which a bibliographic-descriptive research is carried out, to detail aspects that transcend reality, to through the application of the mixed method, which adapts to the line of exclusion and social integration, allowing to verify the importance of the preservation of ancestral languages in the right to cultural identity and education.
La práctica del deporte y las plataformas digitales frente al sedentarismo en tiempos de pandemia Covid-19

ABSTRACT Communication in new technologies is presented as a way to cope with a sedentary lifestyle in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, digital platforms being used mostly. Due to the confinement in which humanity was involved for its own safety and survival, thus adapting to a new lifestyle, however, we can appreciate that these new ways of communicating and learning were somewhat forced due to the speed with which the that were introduced not only in the educational aspect but also in the daily life of students and employees, adapting them to schedules and routines inappropriate for the days after the pandemic. The research aims to find out if digital platforms were used to avoid a sedentary lifestyle in the first and second high school students of the Unidad Educativa 17 de Abril del Cantón Quero through a descriptive investigation with a qualitative and quantitative approach through the application of surveys to 191 students, obtaining as a result that despite the fact that the vast majority of students were unaware of these new technologies, they knew how to take advantage of them in a satisfactory way, this being a tool not only to communicate but also to do sports at home through videos or courses found on the network, with the majority of the results of the survey being favorable responses and making great use of digital platforms to mitigate the sedentary lifestyle that was present more strongly during confinement.

ABSTRACT This research will focus on the study of the reasons why young people between 15 and 18 years old, during the covid 19 pandemic, have been attracted to digital platforms, especially TikTok, because it has increased in number of downloads in the last two years and generation Z is the most vulnerable to this type of entertainment. This work will show the changes that have been taking place in this generation Z, where young people are the most connected with technology, social networks and the consumption of entertainment platforms. During the Covid 19 pandemic, society has presented sudden changes in all aspects, however, the accelerated process of adaptation in generations has been evidenced, so it is necessary to know that social networks currently influence development in many cases Of the youngs. Part of the work carried out with this research is knowing a threat, which may not be considered that way, but it significantly influences development if it is not controlled by everyone. Research techniques are also necessary to be able to investigate in depth on the subject, as long as the sources are effective to obtain good conclusions, since social networks increasingly play a fundamental role as an intermediary piece in the interaction.

The present research work analyzes the fundamental role played by communicative tools within the educational processes, the protagonism generated based on the existing need to prevent students from stagnating in their educational levels, as a result of the health emergency generated by covid-19. The role played by these strategies to be channels that allow teachers to transfer knowledge to their receivers, in this case the students, is one of the aspects investigated in this thesis. In order to carry out this project, the Salcedo National School in the province of Cotopaxi was chosen as the field of research. This school was chosen in order to analyze the reality of the educational process experienced by the students during the two years of the pandemic. Thus, the different tools and strategies that were providedby the teachers to continue with the academic period have been analyzed. The importance of technology during the pandemic is also analyzed, being thefundamental axis and the medium where education moved to, adapting to the time thatpassed at that time and providing the facilities so that both teachers and students can recreate an environment similar to the one that took place in the classroom, but now from their respective comfort zones. In order to obtain more real data, a quantitative approach was applied in this researchwork, where statistical information was obtained that led to know the experiences thatthe students had in that period of online study

The deficient retention of knowledge in university classrooms has harmed the conditions and school performance of students, there have been several reasons that have caused this fact, however in this research work two of these components have been examined and we have sought to determine their influence, these being the family environments and the use of andragogic strategies to enhance learning of students of higher education, it is important to examine the subject because the social worker in the area of education should promote student welfare and improve the academic quality of students. The inquiry was quantitative, with a descriptive-correlational level and the methods used were hypothetical-deductive, analytical-synthetic, measurement and historical-critical, working with a population of 103 students and 15 teachers, the sample was non-probabilistic: intentional or opinionated, for the collection of information a survey was elaborated and carried out, addressed to the students and adapted to the teaching staff, the questions were designed to meet the objectives set. The results of the study show that the family environment of the students is good and the effectiveness of the teaching-learning strategies taught by the educators is positive and they strengthen the cognitive processes of the students. It is concluded that there is an influence between the proposed variables, however, it is recommended to provide reflective, analytical and critical capacities in the students and to encourage the improvement of their family contexts.

The investigative work that is broken down below has been aimed at determining the status of a group of citizens belonging to the training field in secondary education corresponding to children and adolescents; focused in its full form on the aspect of education as such, by adapting this group of people to chairs of a virtual nature as a product of the COVID-19 pandemic, also added to the existence of harassment in its different forms, thus constituting a series of rights violated in the respective constitutional and legal order. In addition, the methodology that will be used to obtain relevant information in the core part of this work is the qualitative method as the central axis, even with its details I provide reliable information about the axes corresponding to the fact to which the existing problem with associated individuals the deficit of state support, poor access to chairs taught by teachers and bullying, among others, that diverts attention in classes, constituting factors that generate a decline in the learning process. Therefore, we seek to determine in what way the rights of children and adolescents corresponding to secondary education are being protected, so that there is the neatness that is established in different national and international regulations.
