    Modelo de gestión por procesos para la mejora operativa en la empresa calzado “Liwi Medical”.

    This research presents a process management proposal for Liwi Medical Footwear company, aimed at structuring and documenting its operational processes. The methodology encompassed an initial diagnosis through interviews and surveys, followed by process identification and classification utilizing process mapping and value chain analysis. The weighted factors method was employed for critical process selection, enabling the prioritization of those with the highest organizational impact. The study resulted in comprehensive documentation of operational processes, including process sheets, flowcharts, management indicators, and a process and procedures manual. This documentation provides a structured foundation for the potential implementation of a process management system, establishing metrics for operational evaluation and continuous improvement. The proposal developed constitutes a strategic asset for Liwi Medical Footwear, offering a systematic view of its operations and establishing the groundwork for future improvement initiatives. The designed model maintains the necessary flexibility to adapt to organizational changes, allowing updates as the company's needs evolve.

    Sistema de gestión por procesos para la fabricación de unidades de rescate dentro de la empresa carrocera Bomcar

    This research proposes a process management system for the manufacturing of rescue units at the coachbuilding company BOMCAR, specifically within the production area. Six processes were identified: mechanical, electrical, quality control, hydraulic, finishing, and delivery. To undertake this project, an analysis of the current situation was conducted, collecting information through various tools such as employee surveys, a semistructured interview with the company's manager, and frequent visits to the organization. Consequently, processes were mapped and standardized using process sheets, characterization, analytical flowcharts, synoptic flowcharts, and the design of work instructions for each process. Finally, as a solution to the identified problem primarily the disorganization and lack of standardization of processes in the production area for the manufacturing of rescue units a manual of processes and procedures has been designed. This manual describes and details all tasks and activities performed in each process, making it highly useful for the company’s operational staff. This research will be of great assistance in achieving better efficiency and optimization of production, aiming to provide high-quality products for BOMCAR’s customers.

    Sistema de gestión por procesos para mejorar la productividad en empresas de la industria carrocera

    El presente proyecto de investigación está enfocado en desarrollar un sistema de gestión por procesos con el fin de mejorar la productividad en la línea de furgones de la empresa Carrocerías Varma S.A, por medio de la recolección de información, el levantamiento de las actividades inmersas en cada proceso, el estudio de tiempos, con la elaboración de un mapa de procesos se identificó que existen actividades que no agregan valor al proceso productivo así también, las actividades y los procesos que realizan los operarios no poseen un adecuado control, ya que las mismas se realizan sin una correcta estandarización de los procedimientos, por lo que se desarrolló un manual de procedimientos para cada área, basado en el modelo de gestión por procesos. En tal virtud, se dio inicio con el diagnóstico de la empresa, para posterior realizar el levantamiento de cada uno de los procesos mediante su identificación, descripción y clasificación, mismas que fueron plasmadas en fichas técnicas para su estandarización. Además, se realizó un estudio de tiempos, el manual de procedimientos consta de instructivos y registros que permitirán a los operarios obtener una guía para realizar sus actividades. Con la ayuda de la planificación sistemática de la distribución de la planta se obtiene una distribución adecuada y se logra la reducción de los tiempos de producción en un 20% por ende un incremento en la productividad de 0,023 a 0,031.

    Sistema de gestión por procesos en el área de producción de helados en la empresa Aventurate

    This research project proposes a Process Management System as a proposal for improvement in the ice cream company Aventurate, where it has been identified that the main problem facing the company is the lack of coordination and standardization in the execution of related activities in the processes of the production area: product of the lack of documented information and the traditional way of working based solely on the experience of the operators. For this reason, an exhaustive evaluation of the current production process used in the company was carried out, through an unstructured interview addressed to the production supervisor and in-situ observation, this allowed us to identify the products that are produced and through the ABC analysis the product of greater demand was identified, in addition to the different difficulties such as the disorganization that exists in the production area causing unproductive times and operations. Once the analysis was carried out. the ice cream production processes were standardized, this implied the collection of information using process management tools: The creation of clear and well-defined process sheets, flowcharts, analytical cursograms of procedures for each stage of the process, ensuring that uniform guidelines are followed in all operations. Finally, a manual of processes and procedures was designed for the ice cream production area, this manual will contain the detailed instructions to carry out each task and activity in the manufacturing process. Thus, employees will be provided with clear and complete guidance, which will facilitate their work and reduce the likelihood of errors!

    Sistema de gestión por procesos en la prestación de servicios de la empresa IESEI Cia. Ltda

    This research establishes a Process Management System, as a proposal to improve the provision of services offered by the company IESEI CIA. LTDA, to the different fuel service stations in the country, this organization is dedicated to providing complete services of maintenance of fuel storage tanks, dispatchers, and technical repair. Where it was evidenced that the main problem is the lack of coordination, standardization, and documentation for the development of the activities that make up the maintenance processes, furthermore as the execution of empirical tasks, since they do not have a standardized guide, workers tend to perform repetitive tasks or tasks that do not generate value. Therefore, an analysis of the company's current situation has been carried out using various methodologies. These include field observations, an interview with the organization's manager, and a process survey using management tools such as information collection cards. These cards describe the elements that conform to the maintenance services. In addition, flow charts were used to visually represent the sequential process, and analytical flowcharts were used to detail each of the activities involved. Control indicators have also been used and a time study has been carried out to establish a standard time for the fulfillment of each activity within a process. Finally, a manual of processes and procedures has been developed with the objective of providing the company's employees with a standardized guide on how to carry out the activities of the different processes. This manual includes detailed records for each succession, which allows for better control of the activities carried out, prioritizing the needs and requirements of the client.

    This research bases a Process Management System as an improvement proposal for Servicarton Cia. Ltda. production system, which manufactures corrugated and microcorrugated cardboard, offering various products, main objective of this system is to improve production process through standardization and documentation of its processes in order to increase productivity and efficiency in their activities execution.Information gathering of processes and determination of company current situation was done through direct observation and an interview with production manager,through them it was defined that company maintains a traditional organization, besides they don't have a system that control all processes, what causes disorganization in the staff, unproductive times and inefficiency in the operations execution. Analyzing found problems in the company, a management system focused on processes is established, therefore, initially, the processes executed for products with the highest demand manufacture were identified and classified., according to ABC analysis of products marketed in company, which were reflected in process map. Analytical and synoptic flowcharts were drawn up for each of the operating processes in order to present in a didactic and detailed way the flow of operations as part of the standardization process, and indicators were established to evaluate processes performance and thus maintain their continuous improvement.Finally, a processes and procedures manual was designed, which will serve as a guide for orientation and training of staff, maintaining a standardized structure for activities execution, besides it has records in order to have a better control of processes. Thus, the company will maintain an approach based on process that prioritizes the client's needs and requirements.

    This research proposes the development of a Process Management System for Omegalab Cosmetic Laboratory that will contribute favorably with workflow transformation by processes in an efficient and effective way, using this methodology the microenterprise can identify the productive activities, establish the relevant documentation, maintain control over its processes and participate in the continuous improvement as an organization. The processes identification currently being carried out in the microenterprise through direct observation together with an interview with the owner manager and surveys of workers showed that the organization maintains traditional methods, it does not have a process approach and activities carried out by the workers are not documented and are executed empirically, generating a lack of control that affects the results of the microenterprise. In accordance with the current situation, an analysis of the processes carried out in the organization was done, which were classified and captured in a process map. For production processes of most sold products, their elements were identified, their flow charts and detailed information was collected, in addition a time study was developed to complement the standardization and maintain the cycle time of each established process. As a result, a manual of processes and procedures was developed, detailing in an organized and structured manner how the analyzed processes will be executed, in addition to maintaining control through process indicators and ensuring compliance with the standardization. In this way, the microenterprise has certain characteristics that allow it to apply for a Good Manufacturing Practices certification.

    Diseño de un sistema de gestión basado en la norma ISO/IEC 17025:2017 para el laboratorio de higiene industrial y ambiente de los talleres tecnológicos en la FISEI de la UTA

    Nowadays, companies need to ensure that the test results are reliable, to achieve this they turn to accredited laboratories that have a Management System based on the ISO IEC 17025:2017 standard. The present degree work was developed in order to design a Management System based on the international standard ISO IEC 17025:2017 for the Industrial Hygiene and Environment Laboratory belonging to the Innovation and Technological Development Workshop of FISEI. This made it possible to manage factors involved in testing services and to indicate that it is operated competently. The project uses applied, documentary and field research. Applied, because the procedures were documented to standardize the activities. Documentary, because the bibliographic information was systematized for the diagnosis and development. Field, since the researcher collected the information directly. It began with the identification of the problem and the objective to be achieved, then the normative and theoretical bases for the design of the system were investigated. The initial analysis used the compliance self-assessment questionnaire provided by SAE, according to ISO IEC 17025:2017. This, accompanied by the general information of the laboratory, served as a starting point for the project proposal. Subsequently, the quality manual, process map, procedures manual, risk management matrix and process characterization, comprising 11 processes and 29 procedures, were proposed. These allowed us to address the requirements of the mentioned standard.

    Aplicación de la norma NTE INEN 2664:2013 para la empresa IDIRECAM

    El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo el desarrollar una propuesta que contenga toda la documentación y facilidades necesarias para que la empresa ensambladora de vehículos de emergencia FURGONES IDIRECAM pueda beneficiarse de la certificación nacional NTE INEN 2664:2013, para lo cual se inició el proyecto con el análisis de los requerimientos de la norma, investigación del sustento legal vigente en referencia a los diferentes apartados a evaluar, continuando con la evaluación de la situación inicial de la empresa, a través de métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos utilizando los instrumentos correspondientes para realizar mediciones, evidenciando todas las actividades y parámetros evaluados con documentación y fotografías; permitiendo así identificar los parámetros cumplidos y por cumplir, continuando con el desarrollo de la documentación faltante: manuales, planes, programas, procedimientos, reglamentos y registros, culminando con un documento general, en el cual se estandarizó toda la documentación desarrollada, de tal manera que se permite una rápida y precisa identificación de cada uno de los documentos, permitiendo así que la empresa cuente con todo lo necesario para que FURGONES IDIRECAM pueda beneficiarse de la norma en mención.
