Item Método lúdico en el desarrollo de la agilidad en estudiantes de educación general básica media(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte, 2025-07-04) Salazar Tierra Kevin Andrés; Villalba Garzón Gabriela Alexandra; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y DeporteThe purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of the play method in the development of agility in students in the sixth year of General Basic Secondary Education at the Unidad Educativa Particular Jerusalén. Using a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design, we worked with a sample of 21 students, applying the agility T-test before and after a six-week play intervention. The methodology used integrated dynamic strategies based on games to strengthen both motor and cognitive skills. The results showed significant improvements in agility levels. Initially, most of the students were at ‘very low’ and ‘low’ levels according to the T-test scales. After the intervention, more than 60% of the participants moved up to higher levels such as ‘average’, “good” and even ‘excellent’, reflecting a positive evolution in their ability to perform fast and coordinated movements. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test confirmed significant differences between pre and post measurements (p < 0.05), validating the alternative hypothesis. The conclusions support that the playful method has a positive impact on students' motor agility, promoting meaningful, participatory and enjoyable learning. Furthermore, the importance of incorporating playful approaches in physical education classes to improve motor performance and stimulate integral development from an early age is highlighted, highlighting the need for an active pedagogy that is contextualised to current school realities.Item El método Glenn Doman en la enseñanza de la lectura de los estudiantes de segundo grado de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa “Bautista”, de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Básica, 2025-07-02) Alarcón Guevara Nayeli Katherine; Castro Solórzano Marina Zenaida; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación BásicaThe main objective of this study was to investigate the contribution of the Glenn Doman method in the teaching of reading in second grade students of General Basic Education of the “Bautista” Educational Unit, in the city of Ambato. The work was framed within the research line social and educational behavior. The population consisted of 24 second grade students. The research was developed with a mixed approach and quasi-experimental design, through the application of evaluation instruments before (pre-test) and after (post-test) implementing the method. In the diagnostic phase, it became evident that a high percentage of students presented low reading performance. In fact, 83% were at the “initiated skill” level; in intonation and pauses, 79% were also at this level. No student reached the “achieved learning” level in the five criteria evaluated: fluency, accuracy, intonation and pauses, recognition of bold words, and speed repetition. After the implementation of the method, the posttest results reflected remarkable improvements. The percentage of students at the lowest level was reduced and the “in process” and “learning achieved” levels increased. In intonation and pausing, 41.5% reached the highest level, and in bold word recognition, 28% reached the optimal level. The study recognizes cultural diversity as a key factor for enriching educational processes, strengthening identity, and promoting mutual respect. The methodology employed a mixed approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive design. Surveys were used to collect data from students, with the purpose of exploring their perceptions regarding the integration of cultural content, teaching strategies, and the connection between historical learning and personal identity. The findings reveal the presence of pedagogical practices that seek to make cultural realities visible and support a contextualized historical education. Teaching experiences that include culturally relevant topics and activities have been identified, which help recognize traditions, ancestral knowledge, and community expressions. It is concluded that strengthening teacher training, curricular contextualization, and the use of culturally appropriate teaching resources is essential to consolidate an intercultural approach that enhances meaningful learning of Ecuadorian History.Item Las artes plásticas en el desarrollo de la creatividad con los estudiantes de quinto grado de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa “González Suárez” de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Básica, 2025-07-01) Santamaría Castellanos Daniela Guadalupe; Yungán Lema Jorge Vinicio; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación BásicaThe objective of this thesis was to analyze the influence of plastic arts in the development of creativity of fifth grade students of General Basic Education of the “González Suárez” Educational Unit, in the city of Ambato. The study was carried out under a mixed methodological approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative tools to obtain a broad and deep understanding of the investigated phenomenon. Data collection was carried out by means of a checklist applied to students and interviews with teachers. The results showed that the frequent practice of plastic activities significantly favors the development of children's creativity. Most of the students evaluated showed a high degree of originality, fluency of ideas and expressive use of color in their productions. Likewise, a satisfactory appropriation of techniques such as pointillism was observed, together with an adequate handling of the artistic materials available. These skills not only show progress in technical terms, but also in the symbolic, emotional and aesthetic capacity of the students. On the other hand, the interviews reflected that art in the classroom generates motivation, reinforces self-esteem and improves students' emotional expression. The artistic environment becomes a space for free exploration, where children construct personal meanings and develop essential competencies for their integral formation. The research concluded that the systematic and pedagogically oriented integration of the visual arts in the educational process significantly enhances creativity and divergent thinking in basic education children.Item La inteligencia lógico matemática y el desempeño académico en la Unidad Educativa Rodríguez Albornoz(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Maestría en Educación Mención en Enseñanza de la Matemática, 2025-04-16) Medina Hidalgo Marcelo Iván; Mayorga Ases María José; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Maestría en Educación con Mención en Enseñanza de la matemáticaThe central problem lies in the fact that the student sector shows a low performance commonly in mathematics, evidencing significant difficulties in learning this subject. The objective of the research was to determine the contribution of logical-mathematical intelligence in the academic performance of seventh-year students of Basic General Education of the Rodríguez Albornoz Educational Unit in the city of Ambato. To address the problem, innovative pedagogical strategies were implemented based on the strengthening of logical-mathematical intelligence, with the aim of improving academic performance. The methodological design of the study was pre-experimental, using a mixed field modality approach with a longitudinal temporality with a pre-test and post-test with a single group of 33 students. Standardized tests were used to measure both the level of development of logical-mathematical intelligence and academic performance before and after the intervention. The results showed a considerable improvement in the academic performance of the students after the application of the strategies. In the pretest, 87.88% of the students did not achieve the expected learning, with grades below 4 points, while in the posttest, 54.55% managed to achieve the expected learning with grades between 7 and 8.99 points, and 3.03% dominated them, reaching grades above 9 points. The statistical analysis using the Student's t-test revealed that the differences between the scores obtained in the pretest and the post-test were statistically significant (p < 0.05), confirming that pedagogical strategies based on logical-mathematical intelligence have a positive impact on students' academic performance. These results validate the hypothesis that the development of logicalmathematical intelligence effectively contributes to improving mathematics learning. It is concluded that the continuous integration of these pedagogical strategies in the educational curriculum, as well as their adaptation and evaluation in other school contexts validate their effectiveness in different educational environments and levels, thus contributing to the general improvement of academic performance.Item El rol de los padres de familia en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de quinto grado de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa “Planeta Azul” de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación Básica, 2025-01-20) Arévalo Lliguin Anthony Jason; Sánchez Vaca Edgar Bladimir; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Educación BásicaThe present investigation refers to the impact of parents' roles on the academic performance of fifth-grade students in Basic General Education at "Unidad Educativa Planeta Azul," located in the city of Ambato. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining bibliographic analysis to establish the theoretical framework (qualitative) and the collection of numerical data through surveys (quantitative) to interpret the findings. The methodology applied included bibliographic and field research. An exhaustive review of academic sources on the variables studied was conducted, alongside on-site investigation with direct interaction with participants. The research is descriptive in nature, allowing for an in-depth characterization of the main variables. Surveys were used as the primary data collection technique, targeting both students and teachers, with instruments validated by experts. The results show that most parents regularly review students' homework, attend school meetings, and consistently motivate their children to study and improve their grades. However, certain aspects, such as participation in extracurricular activities and frequent communication with teachers, revealed areas for improvement. Despite these limitations, it is concluded that active parental involvement has a significant impact on students' academic performance.Item Fuerza explosiva en la velocidad de desplazamiento del fútbol en escolares de Educación General Básica Superior(Carrera de Pedagogía de la Actividad física y deporte, 2022-09-01) Castro Castro, Brayan Alexander; Castro Pantoja, Édison AndrésEl presente trabajo de investigación con el tema “Fuerza Explosiva en la Velocidad del Desplazamiento del Fútbol en Escolares de Educación General Básica Superior” busca dar a conocer la importancia de la fuerza explosiva para el desarrollo de la velocidad del desplazamiento del futbol durante las clases de Educación Física mediante la realización de diverso ejercicios de fuerza explosiva tren superior e inferior .El fútbol al ser uno de los deportes mas influyentes en la actualidad este deporte es inclusivo para los estudiantes realicen actividad física y que mejor manera que al realizarlo mejoren su velocidad de desplazamiento en la cancha al momento de practicar al futbol. El instrumento que se utilizo fue “Yoyo Test” el mismo que nos sirvió para para medir la velocidad del desplazamiento para posteriormente trabajarlas de la misma manera. Fue una investigación cuantitativa ya que fue requerido la recolección y análisis de datos antes durante y después de la investigación; fue una investigación de campo debido a que se realizó una intervención de 8 semanas de manera presencial aplicando el programa de ejercicios de fuerza explosiva para finalmente probar la hipótesis y realizar las conclusiones y recomendaciones
