Item Las habilidades sociales y el trabajo colaborativo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Psicopedagogía, 2025-01-20) Gaibor Rubio José Gustavo; Alvarado Quinto Roberto Enrique; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de PsicopedagogíaThe present research work entitled "Social skills and collaborative work" aims to investigate social skills and collaborative work in high school students, in which 60 first, second- and third-year high school students participated, which allowed data collection through instruments used such as the Goldstein Test and a validated questionnaire to measure collaborative work to assess the level at which each student is. The results show that there is a significant variability in the levels of social skills and collaborative work where the test of the hypothesis is alternative, considering that in the development of good collaborative work they evolve as students enhance their social skills.Item Memoria de trabajo y la comprensión lectora(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Psicopedagogía, 2025-02-03) Morales Ojeda Soledad Angélica; Alvarado Quinto Roberto Enrique; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de PsicopedagogíaThe present investigation: Working memory and reading comprehension, aims to determine the influence between working memory and reading comprehension in the students of the “4 de Febrero” Basic Education School, through the application of validated tests to improve the teaching-learning process. In the development of this study, a mixed approach methodology was used, with a descriptive, exploratory and correlational level. In addition to the field modality, which allowed direct contact with the research object. The instruments used to collect data and information were the MY Primary Memory test, to evaluate working memory, and the PROLEC-R test, in order to evaluate reading comprehension. The sample was 25 4th year students, 20 5th year students, 18 6th year students and 18 7th year students of Basic General Education, having a total of 80 students. We worked using Pearson's Chi-square statistician because the two categorical variables with an ordinal measurement scale determined that there is significance, the correlation between the variables resulting in the approval of the alternative hypothesis that indicates that memory work DOES influence reading comprehension. In conclusion, students present a slight difficulty in reading comprehension, having deficits in readings that have been losing interest for some time when developing them.
