    El diseño editorial como apoyo para la práctica y fortalecimiento de los valores ciudadanos en niños de 3-5 años de Unidad Educativa Nicolás Martínez

    El proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito establecer cómo el diseño editorial ayuda a la práctica y fortalecimiento de valores ciudadanos en niños de 3-5 años de la Unidad Educativa Nicolás Martínez, esto surge de los problemas de la sociedad actual, se dan en su mayor parte por los habitantes con desconocimiento de los valores ciudadanos. Por ello es necesario, que los seres humanos desde sus inicios tengan una formación rica en valores ciudadanos, los principales encargados son las familias en las cuales los niños se desarrollan día a día. Cuando los niños cumplen 3 años acuden a su formación de nivel inicial donde los docentes son los encargados de complementar el mensaje. El desarrollo de esta investigación se relacionó con los objetivos planteados principalmente con el de reconocer las ventajas del diseño editorial como herramienta de apoyo para la práctica y fortalecimiento de los valores, para la cual se consultó diferentes fuentes bibliográficas como libros, revista, folletos, artículos, los cuales permitieron sustentar las teorías e información de la investigación. En cuanto a la metodología se utilizó el método inductivo, con un enfoque mixto donde se destacó lo cualitativo recolectando información por medio de entrevistas dirigidas a los docentes de inicial, psicólogos y expertos en diseño, la información que se obtuvo nos permitió realizar un análisis de triangulación congruente integrando las ideas principales de los entrevistados que nos permitió tener varios puntos de vista para el posterior desarrollo de una propuesta de material didáctico. Además de confirmar la importancia del material didáctico en la educación inicial, para el proceso de la práctica y fortalecimiento de los valores ciudadanos, después de esta investigación se planteó el diseño de un cuadernillo enfocado en actividades y unas tarjetas a fin de reforzar la información.

    Diseño gráfico y su aporte al reconocimiento de los lugares turísticos de la ciudad de Ambato

    The objective of this research project is to develop a touristic guide of the historic and emblematic places of Ambato. This research will help to improve the local economy and increase the tourism and tourist flow, Furthermore, it will leverage established diplomatic relations between Ambato and other cities. This project made use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, using tools such as surveys, to form a proposal editorial material according to people´s needs. The feasibility analysis obtained a positive NPV of $3019.36 and a cost/benefit of an additional $0.26 on every dollar invested. These values verify the feasibility of the proposal. The elaboration of a touristic guide of Ambato is viable and would contribute to the development of the local economy and the country.

    Diseño editorial como aporte en los hábitos alimenticios en adolescentes de 12 a 16 años en la ciudad de Ambato

    According to the Panorama Report on Food and Nutritional Security in Latin America and the Caribbean carried out by FAO and PAHO in 2017, eating habits are a factor that lead to overweight and obesity, and that these are not treated lead to Acquire no communicable diseases (NCDs), leading causes of death in Latin America. According to ENSANUT (2011–2013), in Ecuador, 1 in 3 adolescents aged 12 to 14 years are overweight or obese. This project is about editorial design as a contribution to eating habits in adolescents aged 12 to 16 in the city of Ambato. For this, you must first identify the eating habits that adolescents possess, since it is one of the first steps when designing an intervention or nutritional education program (Garcia and Martinez, 2005). In what has to do in the editorial field, you must establish the type of publication and communication support (printed or digital) currently used by these individuals when seeking information of interest. Therefore, editorial design, seen as visual journalism, has the main purpose of informing about the unhealthy eating practices that affect the development and health of this age group, thus avoiding misinformation, one of the main reasons for not there is a balanced diet and nutrition. Based on all this, a digital editorial publication was generated focused on properly informing the healthy and unhealthy eating habits that adolescents have today.

    El diseño gráfico como aporte al reconocimiento de personajes ilustres de la ciudad de Ambato

    The purpose of this research is to recognize the illustrious figures through graphic design, with the purpose that the memory and longing of these heroes of history will not be forgotten. The problem arises as a result of the lack of knowledge that citizens have regarding these characters and even though there are various manifestations in the city for which they can be known, it has not given rise to the interest of the people. This work aims to reach through the ambateño children, to know and feel identified with the illustrious characters, since at present in the schools the lack of material has generated that this topic is not given, since the resources with the that count are strictly generated by the government, in an attempt to be more accessible to all citizens without distinction of their economic status. But this reduces the options of being able to implement these local issues since the books that are distributed contain generalized information. Therefore, we have seen the need to create materials that focus on this point so that students can access and learn about these important topics, because they become a reinforcement to know the cultural identity of the city and to be a reference of the good habits and habits of the ambateños. For this purpose, the research and data collection necessary to obtain a favorable result was obtained, in which it was obtained that when working with an audience of such an early age, it is necessary to implement a story as educational resources, since it fulfills with the necessary parameters for the teaching of the illustrious personages, given the case that it is not recommended to saturate a child with information, but rather to arrive through simple and creative means that allow access to the interests of the children.

    Diseño editorial como aporte a la recuperación de los juegos tradicionales en niños de educación básica de la ciudad de Ambato

    The present investigation project aims to approach the problem of the poor diffusion of editorial design for the traditional games in the city of Ambato, and how it affects in the knowledge of these practices by children in primary school, for that purpose it is considered how editorial design can contribute to the recovery of those activities of yesteryear. Traditional games are owned manifestations of a town, which have been transmitted from generation to generation, this property of surviving along several generations gives it the traditional characteristic. With the passing of time due to many factors, these activities have been losing relevance among people, adding that they have not had the adequate support through editorial design to continue being valid. Through the objectives set out in the present project, elements of editorial design that help to the right information of these cultural activities are seek to be determined, so that through this information students of primary education and their formation centers know how to take them to practice. Likewise, in inquiring which are the most adequate traditional games to practice for children aged 7 to 10 years old, searching for what is the practice that brings more benefits to their development. The results that were obtained with the investigation, helped to determine that editorial design contributes to the recovery of traditional games in children of primary education, acting like an informative channel which was not available before; for which an illustrated guide about the traditional game of marbles is proposed, generating a content that will encourage children to practice this activity.

    Approaching the graphism in search of asserting if it could be a contribution on pedagogy of sexual education in Private Catholic Educational Units in the city of Ambato, has given a start to a sequence of actions linked to the research of the two variables, together with several objectives proposed that enclose the project problem. In search of addressing a current problem of teaching, present not only within the Educational Units but at a level National, of the sexual education field, which is limited to the genitality and the existence of sexually transmitted diseases, the use of contraceptives and condoms as precautionary means, leaving aside the family and the formation of values that forge the person’s character for his or her development. Analyzing the various aspects in face of the graphic of the current material that the Educational Units have and among other factors that enclose the pedagogical development of the topic, the results obtained enable to reveal a positive prospect for the development of graphic-educational projects in charge of graphism and the elements that make it up. Existing diversity of utilities that can be developed around this research, since the use of the creative and innovative means to communicate and information allows giving a different approach to the taboos that students have, not only in the area of sexual education. In view of the exposed, the present investigation have resulted in the development of printed editorial material, which contains the fusion of several illustration techniques with the support of information through digital media.

    La realidad aumentada en el diseño editorial para el aprendizaje del lenguaje en niños de segundo año de educación básica en la Unidad Educativa Vicente Anda Aguirre del cantón Mocha

    This researchis based on using Augmented Reality and the influence that it has on language learning, this investigation was developed on Mocha City, with students from second year of basic education from “Vicente Anda Aguirre” School. The following research uses correlational methodology, because it looks for the relationship of both variants considering main information was obtained from scientific-technical publications; also, this research emphasizes field-researching methods to analyze data to prove the stated hypothesis from the investigation. And suggest possible solutions to the statements of the research. Data shows that 93.33% of teachers accept and recommend using Augmented Reality as a practical tool to instil language. Also 95% of the students accept Augmented Reality to learn language inside and outside their school.

    Maquetación del periódico “Vanguardia” y su influencia en la transferencia de información al público del cantón Salcedo

    The newspaper since its born has been marked in the communication development of the society present, environment, culture, daily life. It made an important role in the social process of Ecuador and other parts of the world, making important changes in the human condition; in it reflected facts, political events and realities that emerged and became into historical schemes. It´s a reality that this media becomes into an important source for keeping social memory. In the canton “San Miguel de Salcedo”, it gives rise to “Vanguardia”, a sunday newspaper that was born with a marvelous first edition with the objective of inform to the Salcedo´s people about everyday events, political facts and public opinion since 1997. With 20 years at the service of the community, it becomes into a traditional classic own of the place. It´s true that “Vanguardia” nowadays doesn´t show victorious in the face of the new informative needs, since the impetuous growing increase of the new generation of readers asks for having a nicer visual experience. The making of this investigation proposes to analyze the structure of “Vanguardia” newspaper, and determine the influence and transference of information to its audience in the “Salcedo” canton, developing a rigorous study about editorial design and the composition of a newspaper (journalistic ethics, reticule, typography, chromatic, page elements, margins, among others), in addition to the characteristics of the consumer audience for in this way validate the given proposal, define a size, and distribution of informative data. Although in the initial concept the editorial design is mentioned as principal axis, many of the editorial enterprises at the time of make a publication, don´t apply circumstantially these principles, that´s the reason because it´s a big success to considerate fully and deduce very well which and from what class are the problems that stalk the media.

    La fotografía y su aporte en la preservación del Patrimonio Urbano Cultural del cantón Ambato

    The Cultural Heritage of a city is a fundamental part of the history of each town, it is necessary to know about the architectural legacy that we own today, we must also take into account that these heritage buildings that can still be seen standing have innumerable details , that sometimes the weather and the time that comming pass, have already destroy them, but thanks to the relevant authorities who have been able to preserve, maintain and spread, nowadays all “ambateños” we have the opportunity to continue enjoying such wonderful works of art. This project focuses mainly on contributing to the preservation of these patrimonial assets through photography as a main tool, which through the research and development of a photographic editorial product is feasible to achieve, since the images are a huge impact way of communication and generate countless memories in people; moreover, this product is supported and supervised by the branch of graphic design and editorial design, because the purpose of this proposal is to generate a feeling of preservation and conservation in readers and the city of Ambato has a tangible element in which you can see how the city was in old times and how is our town today.

    Diseño editorial en el material pedagógico del nivel inicial II de los centros de educación básica de la ciudad de Ambato

    Initial education has been in place since the 2014, in the basic education centers of Ambato, which currently do not have quality printed teaching material, which is causing children to not be interested in carrying out activities in which these tools are used. The research developed stems from the need to improve the quality of initial educational material II at the Basic Education Centers of the city of Ambato, with an adequate application of editorial design, and within the framework of the reforms within the education curriculum Parvularia; For the development of the project data collection instruments such as the survey and interview were applied, this allowed to identify the problems that exist in this area. The research aims to present a pedagogical project with a transversal axis from the design that optimizes the work of the teachers and contribution to the cognitive development of the infants. For the development of the proposal we analyzed each of the elements of diagramming that are used in the editorial design, and on the other hand the contents presented in the curriculum of initial education. Through field research, we identified the shortcomings of the materials currently used, and what would be the most appropriate and concrete solutions that can be proposed; Children need materials that enable them to develop their creativity, they must be practical, interactive, effective and efficient.
