Item Desarrollo e implementación de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo mediante el método TPM para el departamento de producción en la empresa carrocerías Impedsa(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-06) Arguello Miguez, Geovanny Adrian; Paredes Robalino, María BelénThis technical project was developed to implement a maintenance plan based on the total productive maintenance (TPM) methodology; to prolong the useful life of the components of the equipment and machines that are part of the production line, improving the organization of production in order to avoid unnecessary stoppages in the production lines. The information gathering was carried out, which consisted of carrying out an inventory of the machines and equipment to know the amount of equipment, the coding and the state in which they are found, then through the TPM, the “5S” was applied, selection of equipment and pilot machines for the respective maintenance aircraft; In addition, the failure modal analysis and effects matrix (FMEA) was carried out for each of the components, determining the possible failures of the equipment and the criticality analysis of the same, and with the maintenance ranges using specialized software that specializes in failure prevention activities taking into consideration the frequency and time to subsequently allow the objective of implementing the maintenance plan to be developed. As a result, the execution of an annual preventive maintenance plan was obtained with the activities that were organized for the various components, complying with the estimated times and operating frequency for one year; in addition to implementing a continuous improvement system with the TPM philosophy, involving both operators and maintenance personnel.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la maquinaria de la línea de producción de la empresa Welding & Vayacons CIA. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-02) Barrera Delgado, Welington Amilcar; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThis present technical project appears as a response to a lack of maintenance planning in the Welding & Vayacons CIA LTDA Company. It has the purpose to implement the TPM philosophy (Total Productive Maintenance) which is going to generate annual maintenance planning for the machines and equipment that exist inside the company. The maintenance planning is based on the 5S application and autonomous planned maintenance as well. The technical project established all the necessary forms to develop the maintenance activities such as technical sheets, criticality analysis, machines inspections, and other services for the correct maintenance. The proposed activities within the maintenance annual planning for each machine are the manual functions, visual analysis, equipment background, quantitative criticality analysis, and the well-known failures and effects modal AMFE analysis. This data allows us to obtain the critical values of the components. All the activities are reflected in the annual preventive maintenance planning. These activities aim look for to ensure correct and optimal use of the machines and equipment in order to prolong their useful life and reduce downtime. Within the researching there was the intervention machines and the company facilities as well to acquire tidy and clean facilities to improve the working environment. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-01) Castro Pico, Jason Daniel; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueDue to the need to improve production, this project allowed the development of a plan based on the methodology of Total Productive Maintenance TPM for the company Productos Lácteos San José in the city of Píllaro, information was collected which was provided by management and staff working in the company who collaborated in the collection of technical data of the machines involved in the research. In the development of the project, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company was elaborated, then for the consolidation and development of the Total Productive Maintenance TPM were made: technical data sheets of the equipment, environmental and safety suggestions for the operators, machine weighting tables, inventory of equipment and machines, interviews for the collection of information, as well as training through information campaigns detailing the model of the plan to be implemented in the company, In addition, Excel spreadsheets of Failure Mode Analysis "FMEA", Criticality Matrix, global effectiveness analysis and ending with the elaboration of the Maintenance Ranges, a statistic according to the need of each equipment and the application of the 5 "S" within the company taking into consideration the criteria described with the participation of the personnel of each area were elaborated.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo basado en el mantenimiento productivo total para la maquinaria en la línea pintura de la empresa carrocerías Varma de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. For the development of this project, an inventory was carried out in order to know the coding, quantity and operating status of the machines and tools, later the TPM philosophy was applied in which activities such as the selection of the pilot equipment, application of the "5S" and autonomous maintenance; In addition, the criticality analysis was carried out and with the help of the technical note on prevention NTP 679, a modal analysis of failures and effects was carried out in order to identify possible breakdowns and the criticality of the components, through the maintenance ranges determined the preventive actions for each one of them considering the frequency of action and duration. To complete the project, an annual preventive maintenance plan was carried out in order to facilitate the tasks that were organized so that they are applied for a year considering their frequency and duration respectively.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento para las máquinas de la empresa Planhofa C.A. mediante el mantenimiento productivo total (TPM)(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-03) Quezada Pedrera, John Manuel; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThe purpose of this technical project is to introduce the philosophy of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), to carry out a maintenance plan with a one-year projection of the most critical machines of the company PLANHOFA CA, based on the application of the 5S, global effectiveness equipment (EGE), autonomous and planned maintenance. The project establishes the necessary formats for maintenance management such as: technical sheets, work order, red card for unnecessary elements, machine inspection sheet and external services. The activities proposed for the maintenance of the most critical machines are proposed based on the manuals, historical data of each equipment, quantitative criticality analysis and the modal analysis of failures and effects, better known as AMFE, with which the critical components are obtained. On the other hand, a machine is chosen for the calculation and implementation of the overall effectiveness of the equipment, for which an Excel format is made to facilitate the calculations and interpretations thereof. The same that will serve as a pilot test to be applied to the rest of the machines if required by senior management. All maintenance activities are organized and classified in the range, to later translate them into the annual maintenance plan. Therefore, the applied maintenance philosophy can avoid as many unplanned failures as possible and thus be able to provide excellent quality products to the national and international market.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento productivo total para la linea de envasado y pasteurización de leche y yogurt de la empresa El Ranchito(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-01) Cruz Córdova, Marcelo Santiago; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueFor the preparation of this technical project, an analysis of the milk and yogurt packaging and pasteurization line was carried out, verifying the current state of each of the equipment, the production times and the type of maintenance that is used. In the development of Total Productive Maintenance, the necessary steps to carry out the implementation are described, such as: the diagnosis of the current situation, inventory of machines and equipment, a model TPM plan, training through information campaigns, detailing the tools and procedures used at its different levels. Besides this, the AMFE (Failure Mode Analysis) was carried out, culminating with the maintenance ranges according to the needs of each team. It should be noted that a tagging was also carried out in which the operator’s jobs were better organized through the relocation, elimination or cleaning of elements. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-01) Casco Andrade, Christian Andrés; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThe present project determined a mechanical maintenance plan based on the TPM for the catchment, conduction and machine house system at the Río Verde Chico hydroelectric plant of the company HIDROSIERRA SA, in the city of Baños de Agua Santa, the development of the plan maintenance began with the collection and information gathering of the mechanical elements that intervene in the three systems previously obtained for the subsequent obtaining of technical sheets of each mechanical element and their respective coding. The constant titling work with five of the twelve steps established by the Japanese Plant Maintenance Institute (JIPM) for the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), in addition to obtaining the preventive maintenance ranges, techniques established by the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), such as Modal Failure and Effects Analysis (AMFE) and Criticality Analysis (CA), all for the generation of the maintenance plan. In addition, it includes the 5 “S” strategy, named after its initials in Japanese, the implementation of this strategy began with the identification and classification of elements, by means of the red labeling, the useful elements were relocated in the storage areas and for the non-useful elements were delivered to the qualified managers for their purpose or, in the case of garbage, to the garbage collectors controlled by the Illustrious Municipality of Baños, with the application of this strategy, we sought to create a cleaner, more orderly work environment and sure.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento en el subproceso de molienda en La Industria Harinera S. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2020-09) Chiguano Allauca, Wilmer Wladimir; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThe purpose of this technical project was to introduce the philosophy of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) in the company La Industria Harinera SA, for which, 11 of the 12 necessary steps were carried out that are established by the JIMP (Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance ) in the milling sub-process, which is the most critical of the whole flour-making process. This project established all the necessary parameters for the functional implementation of the philosophy, which are presented in a master plan for the 5 S, autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, predictive maintenance and quality maintenance. This allowed them to be applied in the other sub-processes that the company owns, in the future if senior management so has it. The activities proposed for the planned maintenance in the B1 grinding bench were proposed based on the calculation of the maintenance indicators MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repairs), these provided important data to perform the OEE calculation. (Global Effectiveness of Equipment) and thus allowed to make maintenance decisions that improve the performance of the equipment and the activities proposed for predictive maintenance, was based on recognizing with the TPM group the best predictive method that fits the parameters of the machine to be carried out maintenance. Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánico, 2017) Lozada Cepeda, José Antonio; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe purpose of this project is to make a master plan in order to develop TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) philosophy for the Vertical Turning Lathe of the Turbine Research and Recovery Establishment CIRT. This project develops five of the twelve steps established by JIPM (Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance) for the TPM implementation. This project also provides the necessary documentation for: 5S and autonomous maintenance application. Also, some safety health and environment suggestions are provided. PM (preventive maintenance) activities are chosen based on RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) techniques like: CA (Critical Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Also, several predictive maintenance activities are established following ISO 3655, 1986. All these activities including automotive maintenance ones are organized and scheduled. Finally OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) rate is applied to a broaching process to the vertical turning lathe in order to identify the principal losses on the machine.
