Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2022-08) De la Cruz Chamba, Jairo Wladimir; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThis technical project was taken into account to meet the needs of the company "HALLEY CORPORACION C.L." which consists of improving the maintenance activities of the plastic injection machines which collaborate in the production of different types of products which are generated within the company, for the elaboration of the project it was necessary to develop an approach based on reliability to later be able to develop the different maintenance activities. In order to identify the different failures that may exist in the machines, the NTP 679 standard has been used, which provided us with information on the analysis of failures in its different parts, for the analysis by the Weibull method, the NTP 331 standard has been used. which helped us determine the time of good operation. Finally, the final product of the project presents us with an annual maintenance plan which is distributed in 6 ranges which indicate the preventive maintenance activities to be carried out in the different systems that make up the plastic injection machines which are in a stage child support.Item Diseño y construcción de una máquina semiautomática de inyección de plástico de 50G de capacidad para la empresa “D&J SECOIN CIA. Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2017-08) Medina López, Gustavo Adolfo; López Villacís, Gonzalo EduardoIn the present project the design and construction of a plastic injection machine with the capacity to manufacture pieces of up to 50 grams of weight for the company “D & J SECOIN CIA. LTDA.” of the city of Quito. For the development of this work has been considered the cost and size of the machine, for that reason a study of the injection methods and the form of the injection machines was carried out. This was carried out an analysis of the alternatives and with this to establish the most suitable design option. The calculations of all the mechanical parts and the selection of the elements that integrated the machine were carried out, after which performance tests were carried out to determine the feed rate, plastification temperature, injection time and cooling. There has also been a manual of operation and maintenance of the machine to provide safety to the operator and proper operation. The corresponding plans for the construction of the injection machine were elaborated.
