    In the artisan industry of Ice Cream Lulú in the production area it was possible to observe a need to improve the process of filling the ice cream molds, with this technical project an alternative was found to solve this problem through applied or technological research with the which process information was collected visually and provided by industry workers. In this project we based ourselves on exploratory research which allowed us to find characteristics, parameters for the design of which material resistance calculations were made, selection of existing components on the market that met the calculated specifications, such as; push and suction force of the pneumatic cylinder, solenoid valves, flow shut-off valves, among others. The procedures carried out allowed us to define the size and resistance of the components to be built through manufacturing processes such as: cutting, folding, TIG welding; With the help of CAD simulation software, components and assemblies were designed, where systems and subsystems were created that would later be assembled in a single machine. In the performance tests, as a result, we obtained that the machine dosed 13 percent more molds than the manual process that was carried out previously, also time and waste were reduced by 40 and 10.35 percent respectively, complying with a process more efficient. As a result, a piston dosing machine was built and built to improve the ice cream mold filling process.
