(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2024-08) Tapia Zapata, Jesica Estefania; Tite, Ramiro Segundo
The "WORKING AND FAMILY LIFE OF ACADEMIC WOMEN IN TELETWORKING TIMES" is a research topic for the degree work that is incorporated in the Research Project "INTRALABORAL AND EXTRALABORAL TRAJECTORIES OF ACADEMIC WOMEN IN TELETWORKING AND PRESENT MODALITY; FROM A GENDER PERSPECTIVE". The research focuses on exploring the complex interrelationship between work and family life of academic women, a topic of growing relevance in the Ecuadorian and global context. This study acquires importance by examining how family responsibilities and professional demands impact the careers and well-being of these women. The methodology used within the research was the qualitative method, accompanying the descriptive level, opting for a documentary research modality with an inductive approach. The main sources of data collection were secondary, such as academic documents and institutional statistics, complemented by semistructured interviews with women academics. The results reveal significant challenges: disparities persist in the distribution of family responsibilities between genders, which has a negative impact on the career trajectory of women academics. These inequities highlight the urgent need for institutional policies that promote an equitable distribution of family and work burdens, as well as cultural changes to equally value gender roles in academia. In addition, the study shows that telework, while offering flexibility, also introduces additional challenges such as the difficulty to establish boundaries between work and personal life, exacerbating stress and overload of responsibilities. It is agreed that: the importance of implementing concrete measures to support the reconciliation of work and family life of academic women should be emphasized. It is recommended to develop inclusive policies that foster a work environment that allows professional development without neglecting family responsibilities. This includes the creation of support programs, such as child care and flexible hours and raising awareness of gender equity at all levels of education and work

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2022-09) Armas Hidalgo, Richard Andrés; Campoverde Quijano, Egda Maribel
The virtual work modality and family communication of teachers, teachers of educational institutions are very little known and even invisible edges, nobody talks about the repercussions on their mental and physical health when they find themselves in this process caused by the pandemic, to this We add the deterioration of family relationships, communication and dynamics within their closest circle, it is for this reason that the objective of this research focuses on demonstrating the variance of family dynamics in teachers of the San Miguel de los Bancos educational unit. during the telework mode. Taking into account that we worked with a population of 25 teachers of the evening shift with a mixed approach, for which the collection of information was used through semi-structured interviews provided by the same teachers of the institution, meanwhile for the quantitative part A validated survey on family dynamics was applied, from which data was obtained in sections such as cohesion, harmony, communication, permeability, affectivity, roles, and adaptability. The correct application of both instruments helped us to demonstrate that the virtual work modality, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, does influence the communication of the families of the teachers of the San Miguel de los Bancos educational unit, also demonstrating that These factors are fundamental in family dynamics.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spread to Ecuador, the teleworking modality was imposed over face-to-face work to keep operational all those work activities that possibly take place from a remote location outside the workplace facilities. This new modality managed to achieve a figure of interest called the right to disconnection focused on guaranteeing the teleworker rest. In the development of this research, the background of both the teleworking modality and the right to disconnection in Ecuador was reviewed; analyzing national and foreign regulations to demonstrate the existence of necessary guarantees for the exercise of said figure; contrasting it with information from doctrinal sources, which have served as support for this investigation. For this, a qualitative methodology was used based on both documentary and bibliographical research techniques with a focus on laws and doctrine; as in the field, facing the reality of the teleworker in the development of their activities and workday; obtaining precise conceptions regarding the problem presented. With this, it is possible to conclude that disconnection is an adaptation of the right to rest that favors, within the legal sphere, teleworkers; so that beyond acquiring the degree of law, which obviously, in reality, is violated by businessmen; would be defined as a guarantee

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo social, 2021-11) Tovar Cárdenas, Mishelle Alexandra; Espín Miniguano, Anita Dalila
The present degree project was proposed by means of two variables that are of general knowledge and represent a social problem in the lives of workers, such as Telework and Psychosocial Risks that can occur in teachers of the educational unit "Seeds of Life" from the city of Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi. Therefore, a general objective has been proposed and three specific objectives to be developed, the main one is the detection of psychosocial risks and the influence they cause on the psychological well-being of teachers, the diagnosis of the level of workload of each teacher, analysis of risk factors and finally actions that can be executed to minimize or eliminate this problem through workshops and professional intervention who will promote knowledge in new technologies and digital platforms to reduce the discomforts developed by the new modality. Due to this new modality, there have been several inconveniences in the teachers' routine, for which it has been decided to carry out this work through a correlational analysis of the surveys applied to the teachers, showing several results that were analyzed and interpreted in order to obtain values and make decisions about the possible actions to face these risks. Once the research is completed, with data established under standardized parameters, it can be confirmed that the new telework model recurs as a direct condition in the appearance of psychosocial risks in the teachers of the Educational Unit. Through this, a proposal will be used on the activities that will be applied to teachers to minimize the impact of the use of new technologies, thus eliminating risks until they can resume face-to-face educational activities. To conclude, one of the main recommendations is to train teaching staff with friendly techniques and methods on the use of new technologies, digital platforms, electronic connection equipment and social networks, through which they can obtain adequate knowledge, thus turning weaknesses into strengths. and thus achieving the elimination of psychosocial risks.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-06) Chicaíza Ortega, Juan Andrés; Altamirano Altamirano, Silvia Jovanna
The transfer of face-to-face work to telework brings with it a certain level of knowledge, resources and skills to which not all professionals especially in the "X" generation, a generation older than 45 years old, did not have the same opportunities to learn or develop empirically or school knowledge of the use of information and communication technology tools and apply them to teaching work, this generates external as well as internal conflicts in the person, making its biopsychosocial condition susceptible. The research work is to investigate the experience of the generation "X" teachers of the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences of the Technical University of Ambato against the telework they have been doing about a year ago and whether their personal, family, work and social life has actually been affected, also taking into account a current global health crisis that has kept a large part of the population in confinement. If the biopsychosocial situation is made visible, the importance of ICT for education is evidenced, whether there are spaces to support, support and promote the development of the knowledge and skills of "X" teachers in the Institution as an important part of the fulfillment of legal statutes, it will be opening up for other professional areas to seek to dignify the work of this objective population and inculcate the importance of technologies for the professional development of new generations. The research work applies the method of qualitative approach, also the level of descriptive research seeking to answer questions about the biopsycosocial and labor situation of the established group; of an exploratory type allowing to know and understand the problem through an informal analysis that contributes to the construction of knowledge about the problem. Through structured interviews, information has been obtained from different points of view and experiences so that participants can give their opinion on how they have dealt with telework, which has contributed to them or what their shortcomings have been. From this it has been evident that there were participants of the "X" generation who, because they were technological immigrants, had difficulty adapting to telework because most of them have declared that they have not developed the knowledge and skills in technological tools, and therefore this modality entails, it has been possible to identify biopsychosocial problems due to the pace of telework making them feel more in the physical and emotional aspect, on the part of the labor they have managed to endure the work The way of adapting or training in a timely manner, the familiar has been optimistic and announces it very positively, and they also recommend that new generations keep up with knowledge and skills development in technologies.
