In the study area, it was proposed to evaluate the drinking water distribution network because it is nearing the end of its useful life. The purpose is to determine the current hydraulic conditions, since, having exceeded its useful life, several problems have been generated, such as inadequate pressures. These parameters will allow the development of a proposal to improve the distribution network. The project began with a technical visit to the catchment source and the reservoir tank, as well as a tour of the current pipeline, which includes the distribution networks. During this phase, the condition of the pipes and fittings was analyzed. Subsequently, socioeconomic surveys were applied to all users registered in the SDAP and a hydraulic evaluation was carried out using a manometer to measure pressures. Based on these results, modeling was performed to identify deficiencies and evaluate improvement alternatives. The proposal for the optimization of the distribution system was prepared considering the population growth and the increase in consumption demand, with a projection period of 25 years, rectifying the conduction lines and establishing velocities and pressures according to the ranges established by the regulations. A reference budget was presented based on an economic analysis, accompanied by detailed plans showing the optimized distribution network and hydraulic installations.

A properly maintained road network system is essential to extend the useful life of a road, provide a high level of serviceability, comfort and safety to the user. For this reason, it was necessary to visually and structurally analyze the pavement of the road that goes from the intersection with La Troncal de la Sierra (E35) to the Galte Chine Pungo Community, in the section KM 4+000 to KM 8+000, recognizing the present faults and the interpretation of pavement deflections to propose a road maintenance plan appropriate to its conditions. The development of this experimental work was divided into three main phases: in the first, the samples for testing were extracted, the traffic volume, the Pavement Condition Index and road deflections were determined; In the second, the data obtained from the field were processed to determine the TPDA, the number of equivalent axles, the condition of the track by calculating the PCI and the deflections; In the last one, a road maintenance plan was proposed with its budget. The methodology used was generally quantitative because mathematical processes were used. As a result, type I deflections were obtained with a subgrade and a pavement with good behavior, the average PCI was 78.28 points, therefore it is a road in good condition that needs routine maintenance and a reference budget of $104,337.93.

In order to improve road conditions in the sector, this technical project for the expansion of the El Deseo - Punta Brava road was carried out, which began with a reconnaissance visit to the road for the subsequent topographic survey with a total station, in the that the characteristics of a mountainous relief have been identified. Through the traffic count, a projected TPDA was determined for a design period of 20 years, based on which, the road has been classified as class III, geometrically designed for horizontal, vertical and transversal design in accordance with the parameters and recommendations of the 2003 MOP regulation. For the correct design of the road, soil tests have been carried out for each kilometer in which the moisture content, granulometry, Atterberg limits, proctor test and CBR have been analyzed; used in the AASHTO 1993 method for the design of flexible pavement determined thicknesses of 20 cm for the sub-base, 15 cm for the base and 5 cm for the asphalt layer. As drainage works, standard structures have been designed for road drainage ditches and culverts and for existing waterways. Based on items for the execution of the project, a reference budget of 1471179.86 dollars was calculated without considering VAT.
