Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2018) Aillón Carrasco, Alba de Lourdes; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvánThe Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de San Pedro de Pelileo has properties of its property obtained through purchase, expropriation, donation, barter and auction, but requires the systematized organization of its real estate, for proper control and management of them. For this reason, an update of the assets has been carried out, reviewing in the first place the physical deeds of each lot requested to the Department of Legal Advice and Land Registry, to proceed to create an Inventory of Municipal Assets in digital file in Excel, where the cadastral code, previous owner, current owner, form of acquisition, date of writing, registration date, registration number, land area, construction area, land appraisal, construction appraisal and total appraisal of the property. Regarding the area of land and construction, it was found that the scripts included old planimetries, which have been updated through a planimetric survey in the field. The appraisals of the properties have been determined by updating the cadastral records found in the Integrated Municipal Management System ERP CABILDO, using the technical information collected, such as land areas, construction and its characteristics, and legal information obtained from the Scriptures. Subsequently, the graphs of the municipal lots were corrected in the Quantum GIS Graphic Program (Qgis) with the help of the elaborated planimetries, in order to later link the inventory of digital Real Estate with the graphic part and create a shapefile in which it is deployed. the technical, legal and economic information of each property. The shapefile created will allow to locate the properties quickly, for any requirement that the Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de San Pedro de Pelileo has and will improve the administration of the goods that were previously outdated. In the output of tank, a valve was placed which allows to have a uniform flow rate of 0.105 lts/min, the water down by gravity toward a drip system dividing uniformly all over the material filtering drains included in a plastic recipient, it has inside a tol sheet that gives the direction of the flow toward a small hole for the evacuation filtered water. COD, BOD5 and Color, efficiency were determined based on the data base of physical and chemical analysis, having 90.83%, 93.03% and 71.02%, as maximum efficiency respectively. These results allow us to confirm that the orange shell helps un a reduction of the mentioned parameters, thus the decontamination of the effluent is remarkable of a jeans washer. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2018) Sánchez Sailema, Andrés Santiago; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvánThe Experimental Work consists in the analysis of the effectiveness of a filter made from rice husk, for the reduction of the concentration levels of the environmental parameters Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Chemical Oxygen Demand, and Oils and Fats, in the residual water from the "Polito's" Car Washer and Lubricator in Tisaleo canton, province of Tungurahua. For this purpose, the filtration system was built, consisting of a storage tank, a pipe for the water conduction by gravity and a square plastic container with some rice husk. After running the tests for 91 days, the concentrations of the parameters were measured 9 times, the first measurement was made directly from the effluent and the remaining 8 once the residual water was filtered. Based on the measurements made, it is determined that the concentration levels without a filter exceed the maximum admissible limits according to the Ecuadorian environmental standards established in the Texto Unificado de la Legislación Secundaria del Ministerio del Ambiente (TULSMA), which are 70 mg/l for oils and fats, 250 mg/l for BOD5, and 500 mg/l for COD. Meanwhile, after the filtering process, the concentration values were reduced below that established by the TULSMA in the case of BOD5 and COD, but not for oils and fats, whose concentration values were reduced but still exceeded maximum admissible limits. Consequently, it is established that the filter based on rice husk is effective to reduce the concentration levels in car washers and lubricators, although in the case of oils and fats it is necessary to carry out a subsequent filtering process. The CBR of each sample was also performed and the Benkelman beam was used to determine the deflections, the behavior of the pavement structure and the subgrade of the road, where type II and IV deflections were found. Through the Pavement Condition Index for flexible and articulated pavements, the road was divided into two sections and the condition of each lane was established. With respect to Cotopaxi Avenue, the left lane has a good quality pavement, unlike the right lane, which is in poor condition, and along Río Cutuchi Avenue, the material used is cobblestone in both lanes, which is in fair condition. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil., 2025-02) Bonilla Bravo, Alexis Rafael; Acosta Lozada, Rodrigo IvánThe present investigation focused on the evaluation of the state of the roads in the Ambatillo parish, located in Tungurahua, with the objective of identifying deficiencies and proposing solutions for their maintenance. The roads in this area are experiencing rapid deterioration due to adverse weather conditions, which makes it necessary to have an efficient methodology to carry out precise diagnoses and intervention proposals. For this, the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) was used as the main tool, complemented with image analysis, in order to optimize available resources and prolong the useful life of the road infrastructure, reducing costs and avoiding major problems in the future. The development of the thesis was carried out in three main phases. First, a topographic survey was carried out using high-precision technology to obtain accurate terrain data. Subsequently, information was collected and analyzed on the failures found in the 17 roads evaluated, which include flexible and cobblestone pavements. The failures were recorded, and the average PCI was calculated, obtaining the lowest value of 59, which indicates that some roads require urgent maintenance. Among the main failures identified were cracks and damaged paving stones, common problems in the area's infrastructure. Finally, detailed technical specifications and a budget were prepared to carry out the necessary repairs. The results obtained reflect the need for immediate intervention on certain roads in Ambatillo. It is recommended to carry out periodic evaluations to monitor the condition of the roads and apply preventive maintenance to avoid accelerated deterioration. Suggested solutions include sealing cracks and replacing damaged pavers. In addition, the importance of using high quality materials is emphasized, given the impact that climatic conditions have on road infrastructure. In conclusion, the need to implement a continuous maintenance plan is raised to guarantee the safety, durability and functionality of the roads in the Ambatillo parish, which would contribute to the well-being of the community and the reduction of costs in the long term.
