    Estudio de las vibraciones mecánicas en el personal de operación de maquinaria pesada del EPM-GIDSA y su incidencia en las condiciones laborales

    The present research work aims the study of mechanical vibrations caused by heavy machinery on the staff who operates it at the EPM - GIDSA and its incidence on their working conditions. Thanks to the hypothetic - deductive method, it was proved that the operators of heavy machinery are exposed to high dose of mechanical vibrations affecting directly the orthogonal axis hand – arm, which is of 1,10 to their right and left hands, and a dose of 1.18 to their whole body. The study indicates that the exposition to high levels of vibration affects their working conditions. With the found results, it is necessary to develop a plan of maintenance of heavy machinery to prevent more damages on the operating staff, eliminating mechanical vibrations through the correct use of protective equipment.
