    The following research project was born after the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic. In Ecuador, people had to be paralyzed by this problem, leaving as a consequence virtual education in people who were not prepared for this type of academic training, this in terms of basic education. In basic education, as teachers and students are not prepared for a virtual education, the need has been born to find a solution that goes hand in hand with graphic design in which students have a resource in which they can acquire the knowledge imparted by the teacher assigned to that academic level, aiming at the development of didactic material based on gamification as a support tool in the teaching-learning process virtual education modality in the Huachi Grande Educational Unit of the Ambato canton for children fifth year of basic education.

    Los medios alternativos de comunicación para la difusión de las buenas prácticas medioambientales en la ciudad de Ambato

    The purpose of this project is to link up the use of alternative communication media with the dissemination of good environmental practices in Ambato city. In the research process, environmental and communicational problems were determined in relation to the dissemination of pro-environmental contents; therefore, instruments and data collection techniques were developed that allow us to know the criteria of those involved in the subject in relation to the variables and the degree of participation of design in them, through an analysis of the compositional characteristics of the visual identity that these media have, a style guide was developed that allows designers as well as directors of alternative media to know the compositional elements that must be present in the production graphic in these media.

    Plan estratégico de comunicación como reactivador del turismo dirigido al Parque Provincial de la Familia en el Cantón de Ambato

    This Integrating Project has been developed under the collection and analysis of the contents referred to in the use and construction of a strategic communication plan "pec", which can serve as a reactivating entity for tourism. Said pec was selected under the tutelage proposed by Aljure in content planning and formal structure divided by phases. Market analysis, audience segmentation and the creation of campaign concepts have been designed as a tool that guides the target audience "young people from 16 to 21 years old" to take an interest in the park's own attractions. Regarding the methodology, the implementation of the method proposed by Archer was chosen, in post of the aesthetics and functionality of the prototype. In addition, a qualitative-quantitative approach which functions as a segregator of the information collected from the public and professionals in the study area. Finally, focus on building the prototype that suits the needs of the park.

    La publicidad social como técnica para fomentar la inclusión educativa en las personas con discapacidad física en la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

    The present investigation locates social advertising as the main tool, to provoke a better inclusive environment in the classrooms of the Technical University of Ambato; with previous qualitative and quantitative research that evidences the lack of assertive communication, how to promote educational inclusion in people with physical disabilities in the Institution, and develop a proposal for an advertising campaign to promote their inclusion as the main objective; in addition, conclusions and recommendations are expressed to promote inclusive education generating empathy with the problem. The academic environment for students with physical disabilities would greatly improve their educational experience and subsequently increase the chances of entering society as a product and independent entity, seeking to eliminate all kinds of barriers with adapted infrastructure and social prejudices.

    Packaging is not just a container or the protector of a product, rather, it is the one whose mission is to transmit to the consumer an implicit message that is captured by design in such a way that it becomes a brand benchmark, that is unique among several of its kind, with this differentiating quality, it must persuade so that it is the best purchase option, therefore it must reflect all the attributes of the product that is in its structure. Therefore, the packaging must be carefully studied as well as the product that will be marketed through it, in this way the correct message will be transmitted, they will be persuaded to acquire it and the greater the number of sales, the greater the economic return perceived by those who produce it, achieving a better lifestyle.

    La calidad en el proceso de impresión de la Industria Gráfica de Ambato

    Currently, it is essential to satisfy the business demand for products and services focused on the promotion, protection and identification of your brand, as well as being directly linked to the Graphic Design profession, supported by software, hardware and visual arts, in order to develop eminent competitive advantages through printing and finishing processes, therefore, this research aims to analyze the quality management of production processes in the satisfaction of customers in the graphic sector in the city of Ambato, for which it was used a collection of qualitative and quantitative data to determine the characteristics of the printed products and the quality they require to comply. The main results obtained specify that quality management in the graphic sector in the city of Ambato does not yet have the necessary quality to be at the competitive level, facing bad practices that directly affect customer service.

    Rescate de El Guaytambito, elemento icónico de la Ciudad de Ambato a través de una campaña publicitaria de medios electrónicos

    Los seres humanos se caracterizan por ser individuos visuales, comunicadores y receptores de información, la presencia del ícono dentro de la cotidianidad en la que los seres vivos se desenvuelven es imprescindible, el hecho de manifestar información por medio de la forma o representaciones gráficas, completa el círculo comunicativo en que hombres y mujeres forman parte trascendental. Es así que la labor de los signos icónicos se manifiesta en codificar objetos, personas ya existentes en el mundo real, refiriéndose simbólicamente a ideologías, pensamientos, valores o ideas a las que representan. El presente trabajo investigativo, tiene como finalidad, rescatar la esencia que transmitía un ícono importante dentro de la sociedad Ambateña “El Guaytambito”, que por varios motivos gráficos desapareció a principio de los años 90´s, y su existencia se centraba a socializar los valores, costumbres y educación entre habitantes ambateños, mejorando el convivir ciudadano y la comunicación social.

    Desarrollo de un sistema comunicacional para concienciar sobre el bullying a los estudiantes de 8vo – 10mo año de educación básica de los Centros Educativos Particulares, en la Ciudad de Ambato

    El bullying es un fenómeno mundial que afecta a miles de jóvenes, siendo el responsable de muchas acciones que no están dentro de los parámetros normales en el comportamiento en jóvenes de estas edades. Este bullying está presente en nuestra sociedad, así se ha demostrado a través de la presente investigación aplicada a los estudiantes de las instituciones educativas particulares de la ciudad de Ambato, en la que ha salido a la luz, que muchos de los adolescentes son agredidos física y psicológicamente por parte de sus compañeros. El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad, dar una información más amplia sobre lo que significa el bullying, fomentando concienciación de lo peligroso y dañino que puede llegar a ser éste fenómeno, sobre todo en los estudiantes de 12 y 15 años, debido a que los adolescentes en estas edades atraviesan por una etapa de cambios, formación, desarrollo físico y emocional convirtiendo a éstos en seres vulnerables.
