Item EFECTO AGUDO DE UN PROTOCOLO DE EJERCICIOS DE ESTIRAMIENTO EN LA POSICIÓN PÉLVICA DE PERSONAL ADMINISTRATIVO(2026-01-27) Abril De la Cruz, Edith Magdalena; Bonilla Ayala, Josselyn Gabriela; Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Carrera de FisioterapiaProlonged adoption of sustained positions, such as sitting, can induce biomechanical alterations in pelvic tilt. This phenomenon is frequently associated with loss of elasticity and shortening of the hamstring muscles, leading to postural changes in the sagittal plane. The aim of this study is to analyse changes in pelvic tilt following the application of an exercise protocol designed to improve hamstring flexibility, in order to evaluate its acute effects on pelvic posture. To analyse acute osteokinetic and arthrokinetic changes in administrative staff undergoing a stretching exercise protocol. Osteokinematic assessment was performed using pelvic tilt angles, while arthrokinematic assessment, which could not be evaluated directly, was performed by analysing the flexibility of the hamstring muscles in the posterior chain of the limbs. This was a quasi-experimental study involving 30 participants selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Two measurement instruments were used: BIOPOSTURE to assess pelvic tilt in the sagittal plane and the Sit and Reach test to assess lower limb flexibility, particularly of the hamstrings. The results showed that flexibility improved significantly (+3.59 cm after the intervention, p<0.001), while pelvic tilt did not change significantly (p>0.05). This is associated with laterality (right-handed individuals) presenting a left asymmetry. At the end of the study, it was concluded that, statistically speaking, there was no change in pelvic tilt; however, at the individual level, a change was observed.
