Item CORRELACIÓN ENTRE EVENTO TRAUMÁTICO INADVERTIDO Y EL DESARROLLO DE ESPONDILOLISTESIS LUMBAR(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Fisioterapia, 2024-03-18) Gaibor Quingaguano, Rosa Margarita; Cobo Sevilla, Verónica de los ÁngelesSpondylolisthesis is a disorder that causes a vertebral body to slide forward or backward. It is considered that one of the most frequent causes of this pathology is associated with degenerative changes due to congenital deformities that occur during development, in addition to types of trauma such as falls or traffic accidents, which predispose to the appearance of spondylolisthesis. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between an inadvertent traumatic event and the development of lumbar spondylolisthesis, which was carried out over a period of 1 month, beginning with the collection of data. It was carried out under a quali-quantitative, retrospective, crosssectional approach; applying the chi-square and multiple logistic progression tests whose results were stored and processed using SPSS software. For this purpose, 530 digital clinical histories were used, to which the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, resulting in the participation of 50 patients, the data were reported in a Microsoft Excel sheet where the sociodemographic data were recorded, and variables such as: age of the trauma, post-traumatic care, imaging, type of trauma, red flags were created for later analysis. The results obtained showed that spondylolisthesis is more prevalent in the female sex with 70% as opposed to the male sex with 30%, between the average age of 40 to 60 years, in terms of occupation it occurs frequently in housewives with 22%, in addition to merchants with 16%, it was also shown that there is a correlation between an unnoticed traumatic event and the development of spondylolisthesis in which a statistically representative significance (,000) is evidenced.
