    Diseño e implementación de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo, para la maquinaria en el área de metalmecánica de la empresa Ecuatran S.A. de la ciudad de Ambato

    The development of a maintenance plan helps the conservation of equipment in a company, allowing not only to solve failures but also to prevent them, provides greater reliability in the machinery avoiding downtime due to breakdowns in order to improve productivity. The purpose of this technical project is to design and implement a preventive maintenance plan for the machinery in the metal-mechanics area of Ecuatran S.A. Company in the city of Ambato. Its elaboration began with the development of the technical data sheets and an analysis of the current situation of each one of the machines. Subsequently, the maintenance statistics were carried out to determine the availability and reliability of the machinery. Afterwards, matrices were made with the main parts of each of the machines and based on the Technical Prevention Note NTP 679 to know the risk priority index, in order to identify the components most exposed to failures. Finally, a preventive maintenance plan was elaborated with the projection of a year by means of ranges with their respective duration and frequency, then all the information obtained was implemented in a preventive maintenance software that the company has, this program allows to organize, plan and optimize the management of the maintenance in the company, with the objective of increasing the production preventing unexpected stoppages and expensive repairs of the machines.

    The preventive maintenance plan is fundamental for a company, because it is used to predict minor problems in machines and components before they present failures. That is why to carry out this technical project, the needs of the company "Halley Corporación CL" were taken into account, to have a preventive maintenance plan for the molds knowing how important it is to have one, this will help us to early detection of failures or damage that may occur in the molds and their components, in order to prolong their useful life and thus reduce costs. For the development of the maintenance plan, an inventory was started, where the current state of the molds is detailed, a list of components was also generated and technical sheets were made to then proceed with an analysis of failures and failure modes of the components by means of the AMFE matrix based on NTP 679, finally the Weibull mathematical and graphic model was applied according to NTP 331 to determine the reliability of the molds. Consequently, the numerical values and parameters necessary to configure detailed time intervals per month were obtained, with the help of logs and maintenance ranges where the corresponding preventive actions are carried out, to prioritize maintenance work.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo en el área de fibra de la empresa Carrocerías Varma S.A. de la ciudad de Ambato

    The importance of maintenance in the machines of a company helps us to predict damage to components, reduce costs and extend the life of its components. For this reason, the objective of the following project is to do a preventive maintenance in the machines of the fiberglass area of Carrocerías Varma, starting from an inventory of the machinery where statistical data were collected, operation times, external valuation, creating technical data sheets where the information of each machine is detailed, external valuation creating technical data sheets detailing the information of each machine proceeding first to apply the calculation of availability, failure analysis with the AMFE matrix in accordance with NTP 679, Criticality Analysis and finally proceeded to apply the mathematical model and graphical Weibull under the NTP 331 in order to determine the availability of each of the machines. As a result, numerical values and parameters of each machine were obtained, necessary to structure maintenance schedules carrying out preventive activities with their respective frequencies of time in the daily work, ensuring to improve the functionality of the machines and equipment, thus extending the useful life and giving a greater rentability to the company.

    In the MAVESA INDOAMÉRICA agency, after having examined its current state, it was found that the list of tools and equipment was obsolete due to the recent modernization of these, thus generating certain errors in the handling of information on a daily basis and without having an updated maintenance plan. This evidenced the need for a technical project focused on maintenance. In this project, information on tools and equipment was collected, observing their current state and an updated inventory was generated, then codified technical data sheets and a maintenance statistic were elaborated by calculating times with information for the period September 2020 - August 2021, which allowed elaborating and interpreting the bathtub curve. Following the methodology of the NTP 679, the AMFE matrix was developed, allowing to specify the representative tool systems and equipment of the company, detailing their failure modes, root cause and effect, and then giving them a weighting to obtain the most critical ones, followed by the codified maintenance ranges. As a result, an annual preventive maintenance plan for tools and equipment was developed, organized with activities, frequency and duration for a whole year, and to complement it, a support program was implemented with the help of free software.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para el sistema de transporte por cangilones en la empresa Nutrisalminsa S.A. de la ciudad de Ambato

    Prevention is the only way to avoid serious future problems, this applied to any work area or even in life itself, in this way in the industrial sector the useful life of machines and equipment could be improved and extended, that is the importance of using a preventive maintenance plan. For its realization, it began with the development of the technical sheets and a study of the current situation of the maintenance carried out on each machine, these data were represented in a statistic and interpreted by means of the curve of the bathtub, then the identification of systems, components and functions of the same for the subsequent analysis of the main causes that cause failures. Next, a mode analysis of failures and FMEA effects was carried out through a matrix where the functional failure, failure mode, effect, root cause and a recommendation of two possible failures were detailed for each component, and the components with greater NPR, in this way the preventive measures of the same were prioritized, this was based on the Technical Note of Prevention NTP 679. Finally, a technological software was obtained as a final product with the annual preventive maintenance plan for the transport system by buckets, which contains the ranges of maintenance, generation of monthly reports, resume, and curve of the bathtub for the control of failure stages.

    This technical project was developed with the purpose of establishing a preventive maintenance plan, applying the philosophy of total productive maintenance in such a way that it contributes to extending the useful life of the machines and tools present in the painting line. For the development of this project, an inventory was carried out in order to know the coding, quantity and operating status of the machines and tools, later the TPM philosophy was applied in which activities such as the selection of the pilot equipment, application of the "5S" and autonomous maintenance; In addition, the criticality analysis was carried out and with the help of the technical note on prevention NTP 679, a modal analysis of failures and effects was carried out in order to identify possible breakdowns and the criticality of the components, through the maintenance ranges determined the preventive actions for each one of them considering the frequency of action and duration. To complete the project, an annual preventive maintenance plan was carried out in order to facilitate the tasks that were organized so that they are applied for a year considering their frequency and duration respectively.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo y predictivo para el área de enderezada y pintura en la empresa Kia Motors S.A.

    The constant search for methods to extend the useful life and reduce the unexpected stoppages of the components of the machines, has allowed the creation of maintenance plans that are of great help to the industries. For this reason, to carry out this project, we started from the technical specifications and the analysis of the current situation of each of the machines, then the components of each one were determined, later the analyzes were carried out to determine which are the ones that reach the fail more frequently, in this case the AMFE matrix was used, then the mathematical methods and Weibull graphs were developed for each machine, in these methods the data obtained from the failure statistic and also from the statistical equations intervened, This was done in order to determine the reliability that each of them will have. In this way, it was possible to carry out the maintenance ranges in which the dates on which both preventive and predictive maintenance must be carried out, all this research was carried out based on the NTP 331 and the NTP 679 prevention technical notes.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento para las máquinas de la empresa Planhofa C.A. mediante el mantenimiento productivo total (TPM)

    The purpose of this technical project is to introduce the philosophy of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), to carry out a maintenance plan with a one-year projection of the most critical machines of the company PLANHOFA CA, based on the application of the 5S, global effectiveness equipment (EGE), autonomous and planned maintenance. The project establishes the necessary formats for maintenance management such as: technical sheets, work order, red card for unnecessary elements, machine inspection sheet and external services. The activities proposed for the maintenance of the most critical machines are proposed based on the manuals, historical data of each equipment, quantitative criticality analysis and the modal analysis of failures and effects, better known as AMFE, with which the critical components are obtained. On the other hand, a machine is chosen for the calculation and implementation of the overall effectiveness of the equipment, for which an Excel format is made to facilitate the calculations and interpretations thereof. The same that will serve as a pilot test to be applied to the rest of the machines if required by senior management. All maintenance activities are organized and classified in the range, to later translate them into the annual maintenance plan. Therefore, the applied maintenance philosophy can avoid as many unplanned failures as possible and thus be able to provide excellent quality products to the national and international market.

    Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los contenedores y cajas compactadoras de residuos sólidos de la EPM GIDSA de la ciudad de Ambato

    This technical project is developed based on the needs of having an adequate preventive maintenance of the containers and compactors of the EPM GIDSA, for the establishment of the quality of the containerized solid waste collection service. Before to the development of the maintenance plan, the identification of the current status of the equipment was required, for which an inspection and monitoring record was carried out on the different collection routes existing in the city, this allowed to know the number of equipment that works correctly and the number of equipment that have failures, as well as the most frequent functional failures. The scheduling of maintenance activities was carried out based on the knowledge of the operational status of the equipment and the determination of its critical components through the execution of an analysis of failure modes, effects and criticality AMFEC based on a follow-up to the procedure developed in the NTP 679 regulations. The maintenance plan indicates the monthly activities to be carried out during the year 2021 as well as their frequency, which can be daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, or annual, depending directly on the degree of criticality obtained in the developed analysis
