    Diseño y construcción de un banco de pruebas para la comprobación de la segunda ley de newton en el laboratorio de física de la FICM-UTA

    This technical project is focused on the design and construction of a test bench that will be used to perform physics tests focused on the verification of Newton's second law. To realize this machine was implemented the elimination of contact friction between components by generating fluid films, this film is generated by a device that was selected by comparing systems with respect to criteria such as cost, availability and properties; after the comparison is evaluated in order of priority by CAE software through the CFD system, therefore, the best option for pumping air has a flow rate of 4.6 cubic meters per minute, then proceeding to the design of the base of the pumping system and its fastening elements. An electronic system with infrared sensors was used for data collection and a 4x4 keypad was used for control, with programmable buttons for digital and power control as well as data input. Finally, with the structure assembled, the tests were performed, in which the operation of the equipment was verified, and experimental time data was recorded to obtain velocities and accelerations that were compared with analytical data in which errors of up to 12 percent were presented, which when compared with existing equipment on the market, it is shown that it is within an acceptable range

    Análisis del coeficiente de fricción e índice de inflamabilidad de un material compuesto a partir de matriz elastomérica de látex reforzado con gránulo de caucho reciclado

    The present experimental work aims to analyze the coefficient of friction (static and dynamic) and flammability index of a composite material made from elastomeric latex matrix reinforced with recycled rubber granule. Composite specimens with volumetric composition of 60 percent Synthetic latex and 40 percent Recycled rubber granule (particle size of 0.841 mm) were made, and simple material specimens with 100 percent synthetic latex configuration were also made. In addition, aluminum molds were manufactured with the purpose of facilitating the vulcanization process required by the samples. Friction tests (Use Guide for English XL Variable Incidence Tribometer) and flammability were performed under regulations (ISO 3795). Friction tests were carried out on the two materials on three types of surfaces under dry and wet conditions, the values were taken in the 4 directions (north, south, east, west). As a result, the factor with the highest incidence on the value of static and dynamic friction coefficients is the “Condition”. In the case of the “Material” factor, the coefficients of friction of greater value were for the material with a 100 percent synthetic latex composition. While in the "Surface" factor the wood type obtained higher values compared to the other two. On the other hand, it was determined that the “Orientation” factor has no impact on the measurement of friction coefficients. Finally, material flammability tests were performed, for the composite material the burn rate had a value of 9.23 mm / min. While, for the simple material the burn rate was 7.94 mm / min.

    Implementación del sistema de frenos para el prototipo de auto eléctrico BIPLAZA UTA-CIM17

    The present technical work is based on the implementation of a braking system for the UTA CIM-17 two-seater electric car prototype. The same that arises from the need to look for an ecological, efficient means of transport and capable of adapting to the road needs of our city. In addition, to integrate two of the faculties of the Technical University of Ambato for the generation of this project, reinforcing the skills of teamwork and the adaptation of students to the world of work. For the realization of the present project, a study was made of the general parameters of the UTA CIM-17 two-seater electric car prototype as the total weight of the same, the maximum speed reached, the type of traction and space available for the installation of the system in the design of the vehicle, the same ones that were necessary for the design of a brake system and the adequate selection of the necessary components for it. Several proposals were analysed for the design of the braking system which were weighted in order to choose the most viable and efficient for the vehicle. With the system already defined, the system was implemented in the electric car to subsequently perform the respective operation tests and correct possible errors in the installation of the system; in addition, to collect information on the operation of the brake system in practice. Finally, a manual of use and maintenance was made necessary for the proper functioning of the brake system.

    Análisis de medios lubricantes de los rodamientos 6202 y NJ202E. TYP2 y su incidencia en la velocidad de desgaste

    El presente estudio se fundamenta en el análisis de medios lubricantes, para reducir la velocidad de desgaste en los rodamientos, el trabajo se realizó por medio de ensayos con cinco tipos de lubricantes los cuales son Multiger EP 85W- 140, Ursa LA-3 SAE 25W-50, Ursa Premium TDX Plus SAE 15W-40, ABRO SYNTHETIC LITHIUMG NLG #3 y MYTIK NLG #2, y dos tipos de rodamientos 6202 y NJ202. Para los ensayos se determinó una muestra de siete pruebas por lubricante y por cada rodamiento, en donde los lubricantes fueron evaluados con parámetros iguales en tiempo, carga, temperatura inicial y velocidad de giro. Los ensayos se realizaron con la ayuda de la máquina de pruebas para lubricantes, en donde se puede someter al rodamiento a una carga constate con una película de lubricante durante un determinado periodo de tiempo, luego se procede a evaluar el desgaste por medio de diferencia de pesos y analizar la longitud de desgaste máxima que queda asentada en el rodamiento. Al realizar el análisis de los resultados se puede apreciar la diferencia que existe entre lubricantes, tomando en cuenta el desgate máximo que se ha ocasionado durante el ensayo y evaluando otros cambios que se producen en el lubricante y el rodamiento Al final se puede concluir y determinar el lubricante más óptimo de los ensayados, determinando el porcentaje mínimo de desgaste en el rodamiento en nuestro caso se seleccionó en los aceites a Ursa LA-3 SAE 25W-50, y en las grasas MYTIK NLG #2 los cuales presentaron un menor desgaste en los rodamientos.
