The hyperbaric chamber is an innovative therapeutic tool that uses high-pressure oxygen to accelerate recovery processes in cases such as wounds, infections, inflammations, and other common pathologies in animals. For this reason, the present research has been developed for the benefit of veterinary health. The project addresses the need to optimize the manual operation of the hyperbaric chamber by integrating sensors, controllers, and a monitoring system that ensures precision in critical parameters, such as pressure, temperature, and treatment time. This approach enhances the safety and effectiveness of the treatment, minimizes human errors, and ensures the well-being of pets during the procedure. For the development of the system, a prototype was designed based on technologies such as microcontrollers, pressure and temperature sensors, and a user-friendly graphical interface for the operator. The automation also includes safety mechanisms, such as real-time alerts and an emergency shutdown system in case of malfunctions. The final result is an automated hyperbaric chamber prototype that meets the necessary quality and safety standards, contributing to innovation in veterinary care in the region. Additionally, this system not only improves the operational efficiency of the clinic but also positions SNAP Clinic as a pioneer in the use of this technology in the veterinary field in Ambato. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of automation not only optimizes medical treatments but also promotes a sustainable and technologically advanced business model in the veterinary sector.

This technical project was developed to address the scarcity of equipment focused on hyperbaric oxygen therapy in veterinary clinics, aiming to provide better service to their patients. A functional, safe, and cost-effective prototype of a hyperbaric chamber was designed and constructed in relation to similar existing equipment in the market. For the design of the prototype, the ASME Section VIII Division 1, ASME Section II Part A, and ASME Section IX codes were utilized for the design of pressure vessels, material selection, construction methods, and testing. Additionally, research was conducted on similar devices existing in other countries to aid in the selection of accessories and the establishment of the necessary technical specifications for the operation of a hyperbaric chamber. A design and simulation of a prototype with suitable dimensions and features for the use of small and medium-sized pets were developed using CAD/CAE design software. Subsequently, a list was compiled and materials were selected for the construction of the essential parts and accessories required for the prototype's operation. The prototype was constructed according to the design indicated in the blueprints and following the established construction methods. Functionality tests were conducted to verify the prototype's hermeticity and resistance under operating conditions.
