Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2017-10) Ortiz Basantes, Darwin Efraín; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThis research work was developed with the aim of providing a clear idea of the use of the chemical Degassing in foundries to the students of mechanical engineering of profiling of recycled aluminum using recycled sand and new sand for molding, which allows the improvement of the mechanical properties during the casting process, with the analyses carried out in laboratories. For the verification of the improvement of the mechanical properties of aluminum are made seven specimens for each combination with chemicals, for testing hardness choose a thickness of ¼ governed us standard ASTM E10 and are performed the analysis, metallographic test specimens were then governed us standard ASTM E112 planimetric method is selected and finally held the specimens for testing tensile using the dimensions of the based on the standard ASTM E8 1y specimen. General comparison of the use of the degassing that we have used have incidence in relation to the cast aluminum without the use of them, in the analysis between the pure aluminum smelter and the three degassing used with the use of new arena gets to the improvement of the mechanical properties with the following percentage of 18.76% with calcium carbonate and Borax , Coveral with Argon and 31.33% a percentage of 37,52%, being the best results in the analysis using the Argon degassing at the aluminum smelter of profiling
