Item Análisis del proceso de aplicación de pintura líquida para componentes de transformadores y la evaluación de la resistencia del recubrimiento bajo ambientes controlados(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2023-03) Manosalvas Buenaño, Erick David; Analuiza Maiza, Oscar IvánDue to the lack of necessary analyses for liquid paint coatings and addressing the need to perfect them, with which the characteristics of their components and application processes could be improved, this research is proposed. The objective of the present work is to analyze the application process of liquid paint for transformer components and the evaluation of the coating resistance under controlled environments. The type of research used in the work was: explorative, descriptive, explanatory and bibliographic. The sample and therefore the controlled conditions for the analysis were defined with the Taguchi L32 design of experiments, which has 16 combinations and two replicates. After the research, it was possible to determine the critical requirements that a given coating must meet in the base material to be subjected to their respective tests. The standards applied for each of the tests were the following: adhesion (NTE INEN 1006), impact (NTC 877), double (NTE INEN 1002:98) and salt chamber (ASTM B117 - 19, ASTM D610 - 08, ASTM D714 - 02). It is concluded that the statistical analysis of the coating properties indicated that: the type of paint is influenced by the curing temperature; also, the behavior of the component to the different types of surface preparation (shot blasting, phosphatizing) depends on the number of layers (bilayer, trilayer), achieving the objectives set out in this qualification work.
