Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánico, 2017) Lozada Cepeda, José Antonio; Castro Miniguano, Christian ByronThe purpose of this project is to make a master plan in order to develop TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) philosophy for the Vertical Turning Lathe of the Turbine Research and Recovery Establishment CIRT. This project develops five of the twelve steps established by JIPM (Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance) for the TPM implementation. This project also provides the necessary documentation for: 5S and autonomous maintenance application. Also, some safety health and environment suggestions are provided. PM (preventive maintenance) activities are chosen based on RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) techniques like: CA (Critical Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Also, several predictive maintenance activities are established following ISO 3655, 1986. All these activities including automotive maintenance ones are organized and scheduled. Finally OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) rate is applied to a broaching process to the vertical turning lathe in order to identify the principal losses on the machine.
