This technical project was taken into account to meet the needs of the company "HALLEY CORPORACION C.L." which consists of improving the maintenance activities of the plastic injection machines which collaborate in the production of different types of products which are generated within the company, for the elaboration of the project it was necessary to develop an approach based on reliability to later be able to develop the different maintenance activities. In order to identify the different failures that may exist in the machines, the NTP 679 standard has been used, which provided us with information on the analysis of failures in its different parts, for the analysis by the Weibull method, the NTP 331 standard has been used. which helped us determine the time of good operation. Finally, the final product of the project presents us with an annual maintenance plan which is distributed in 6 ranges which indicate the preventive maintenance activities to be carried out in the different systems that make up the plastic injection machines which are in a stage child support.
