    Diseño de una instalación centralizada de gas licuado de petróleo para abastecimiento de la Hostería - SPA Miramelindo en la ciudad de Baños de Agua Santa

    The present technical project is based on the calculation of each one of the components of a centralized supply system of liquefied petroleum gas for the Hostería Miramelindo of the city of Baños de Agua Santa, establishing a time of days for the next recharging of the tanks and assuring a constant supply pressure at each point of extraction of the fuel. The consumption of liquefied petroleum gas of all the equipment is estimated initially in the months of August and September to be the one of the highest consumption of fuel, obtaining a consumption volume of 0.75 m3 for 15 days, the volume is compared with that of commercial tanks in the market and previous an analysis of the heat transfer between the environment and the tank to know the vaporization to compare with the steam demand of the equipment is selected 3 tanks of 0.45 m3. For the dimensioning of the diameter of the pipes, the simplified formulas of Renouard, used very typically in the design of liquefied petroleum gas ,these depending on the pressure drop and fluid properties results in a diameter which most often satisfies the service conditions the calculation is refined with the verification of the fluid velocity by the pipe, 20 m / s maximum for pipes with a pressure of 10 psig the output of a first stage regulator REGO LV4403 and adding the loss of load caused by the accessories Along the length of the networks. Safety distances and industrial safety measures are determined in order to comply with the requirements that are demanded by the competent agencies and inspectors of this type of installations.
