Item La guianza en el turismo inclusivo, caso de estudio: personas con discapacidad física en los museos y quintas del cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-01) Villacis Reinoso, Nylsen Adamari; Abril Flores, Oscar Alberto; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThe general objective of this research was to analyze guidance as a tool for the development of inclusive tourism in Jardín Histórico Botánico Atocha – La Liria in order to improve the tourist experience of people with physical disabilities. The importance of the work was base don the need to highlight the limitations faced by this group of visitors when participating in tourist activities. In this way, the aim was to promote the adaptation of content and spaces with a focus on universal accessibility. The metodology used was qualitative, with a non-experiemental cross-sectional design, employing the technique of document, record, and artifact análisis using a document análisis form to evaluate the independent variable. Fort he dependent variable, the observation technique was used through a universal accessibility indicator form. The main results identified weaknesses in the existing tourist scripts, informational documents, and educational material at the study site. In addition, deficiencies were found in the physical structure of the established tourist circuit, whose overall compliance rate did not exceed 50%. Base don the results obtained, a proposal was developed consisting o fan interpretive tourist itinerary and a methodology for the implementation of accesible tourist services. The research concluded that the use of appropriate toos in guiding, together with the adaptation of physical spaces, can generate more equitable and meaningful tourist experiences, positioning Jardín Histórico Botánico Atocha – La Liria as a benchmark for Good practices in inclusive tourism.Item Los servicios turísticos y el turismo laboral en Baños de Agua Santa(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-04) Carrasco Sánchez María Andrea; Abril Flores, Oscar Alberto; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoDigital nomads currently represent a market segment that promises the development of tourist destinations, but require that tourism services are adapted to specific needs to ensure a good permanence. Thus, the present research had as a reason to analyze the adaptation of tourism services to labor tourism with emphasis on digital nomads to distinguish areas for improvement in terms of service through research in Baños de Agua Santa. For this, a methodology with a qualitative approach was used, where data were collected for the independent variable through observation sheets applied to six tourist establishments to analyze the service response to the demand and for the dependent variable through interview guides for the characterization of labor tourism and identification of the expectations and specific demands of digital nomads as practitioners of labor tourism focused on members of GADBAS and tourist servers. Thus, the results were mainly that the tourism services of accommodation and food and beverage in the canton are adapting to the needs of digital nomads, although there are areas for improvement, such as the inclusion of workspaces and wellness. Work tourism can be developed in the area thanks to the existing connectivity, infrastructure and diverse offer of services. With the aforementioned, it was concluded that Baños has potential for labor tourism, but needs to improve service, infrastructure and strengthen promotion to ensure competitive growth of this segment.
