    xxi ABSTRACT The digital transformation has compelled physical stores to face the challenge of adapting to e-commerce to avoid the risk of stagnation, loss of competitiveness, and even failure. In response to this need, this project develops a responsive web system with a strategic SEO approach, designed to optimize the sales process of physical stores in the urban area of Ambato, increasing their online visibility, attracting potential customers, and strengthening their market position. The system was built using the Laravel framework, employing templates that ensure a responsive design across various devices, thus enhancing the user experience. The MySQL database was used to manage information securely and efficiently. Additionally, SEO strategies were implemented, allowing the system to stand out in search engines, making it easily accessible to interested users and expanding its digital reach. Through the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, the project development was managed, ensuring incremental deliveries and adjustments based on the specific needs of the beneficiaries. This methodology enabled close collaboration, ensuring that the system was aligned with the expectations and specific requirements of the users, facilitating faster and more effective adaptation to their processes. The result is a technological solution that not only automates essential processes but also provides stores with a strategic tool to prevent obsolescence and ensure their sustainability in the current digital environment.

    Currently most educational institutions have a medical department in which information of teachers and students is documented in a medical record in case of emergency to have an indication of how to act, since some teachers or students may have allergies to medications, pathologies, important diseases that could be critical to be treated within the institution. The objective of this research project is to improve the management of the documentation of medical records of teachers and students, so it is proposed to implement a web system based on the Model, View, Controller (MVC) architecture to manage the medical records of teachers and students of the Gonzalez Suarez Educational Unit located in the city of Ambato. The web system was implemented using the Laravel Framework, since it offers a solid and coherent MVC structure, which guarantees a clear separation of the business logic and a better organization of the code, it also has a wide range of tools and features that help speed up the development. The database manager used is MySQL, which guarantees efficiency and reliability in the storage of information. The methodology used for the development of the research project is the Agile Unified Process (AUP) methodology, in which there are four phases. The initiation phase focuses on establishing the objectives and scope of the system, the elaboration phase is where the use cases are identified and prioritized, the construction phase is responsible for implementing the solution and testing, and the transition phase is the final delivery of the system and its preparation for deployment and use by end users.

    There are different components within the process of higher education, most universities in the country aim to train professionals with critical thinking that have specialized in a branch of knowledge that allows them to solve different social problems, which is why the institutions make their best effort so that future professionals during their training process have at hand the best resources to ensure a quality education. In addition, there are several elements that interfere during the learning process, infrastructure, academic curriculum, values and principles, etc. Even though different points of view may be taken, teachers are a fundamental piece during the formation of future professionals, since they are the ones in charge of guiding them during their academic trajectory. Therefore, special care should be taken to determine what practices teachers teach in their courses and whether these are aligned with the institutional statutes. Only in this way will it be possible to guarantee that at the end of their training process a professional will be able to perform their position in the best possible way. This tool seeks to simplify the teaching evaluation process in order to generate a constant feedback that allows raising the quality standards in the learning process. The MERN stack and Docker were used as main tools to facilitate the distribution of the application, all this through a hybrid development methodology that collects the most relevant features of common methodologies that are adapted to the development context of the application.

    Currently, in companies it is essential to have technology that allows managing information and optimizing processes. In certain dental offices, there are processes that have not been automated as they are done manually according to their specialties, however, there is the possibility of automating them as is the case with the process of diagnosing orthodontic treatments. The aim of this project is the development of a web system for the diagnosis of orthodontic treatment in the dental office "Estévez Dental Group" because the office currently keeps manual records. Therefore, the implementation of the web system optimized this process. Additionally, it allowed for optimal and automated analysis resulting in efficient diagnosis. The web system was developed using Angular, utilizing its technology and development advantages. The database engine used was MySQL. For its deployment, it was on the Somee.com server. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied for the development of the system, with the goal of achieving development in accordance with proposed activities and project planning, taking into account design and order aspects. Additionally, this methodology was adapted to the size and duration of the project, while maintaining direct communication with the client.

    Access to information through the internet has been improving over the years, thanks to technological advances that are innovating every day and facilitating people's lives. With the appearance of smart electronic devices and new computer tools, they allow incorporating applications to make payments and transactions for the purchase of products and services from the comfort of home or wherever you are. Since the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus began, small and medium-sized businesses have adapted their sales channels, through the use of messaging applications, social networks, and online stores. For this reason, the objective of this project is to implement an e-commerce web system for the RMK Computadoras technology store, due to the fact that the company has had some deficiencies in its sales processes, and seeks to improve and provide its customers with a New purchase alternative, for the products that are currently offered with secure payment methods. For the development of the system, the content manager for e-commerce Prestashop was produced, in a Microsoft Azure virtual machine with the CentOS operating system, and Apache, PHP, MySQL, PayPal, SSL and payment domain services. In addition, the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used to manage each of the stages of the project.

    The impact of technological development has been undeniable in recent years, having a great impact on different areas, whether business or social; institutions that provide health services are no exception, as most of them make use of technological tools and computer systems that help them to manage the activities they must carry out. The implementation of a multi-platform web system is the main objective of this research project. The application has a series of functions that help to manage activities such as: registration of appointments, filtering of available schedules, sending WhatsApp’ messages reminders of assigned appointments, as well as the administration of data and clinical history of patients that were previously done manually. The web system was developed with a real-time execution environment based on JavaScript called node.js, which allowed the implementation of the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and provides a cross-platform environment. The database manager used was MariaDB which guarantees security and accessibility to data while protecting the integrity of these, the implementation was done on a server in the cloud that has Linux operating system specifically the Alma Linux distro under the domain novadentsalud.com. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied to control the application development process for better management of activities.

    Nowadays, it is essential for the development and progress of companies to have digital means to manage the storage of information and automate certain processes. The companies that provide jeans washing services are not excluded from this, since most of them perform the control of their business processes and chemical inventory manually. For the above mentioned, the purpose of this project is the development of a web system for Chelos Washer, because the company currently has a manual control of the logistic processes and chemical inventory related to the jeans washing service. Consequently, the realization of the web system allowed the optimization of several processes, such as customer registration, collection, reception and dispatch of production, and control over the chemical inventory and suppliers, thus providing a better quality of service to its customers. The web system was built with Spring framework, making use of several of its dependencies: Spring Web, Lombok, Thymeleaf, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security and MySQL Driver to facilitate the development process. The database engine used was MySQL. Finally, to put it into production it was deployed in a virtual machine in Microsoft Azure with Ubuntu Server as operating system. In addition, the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used for the development of the web system.

    The use of technology has changed over the years and has become involved in the business environment, because it helps to maintain good organization and streamlines internal processes, saving time and reducing costs. In Ecuador, pasteurizers have many processes for their business rules, which is why they must manage computer systems that help to maintain and optimize daily production and inventory control records. The research project aims to implement a web system for inventory and production control in the Pasteurizadora J.S. of Salcedo city, because they currently have manual and semi-automatic records (Excel), for this reason through technological tools seeks to cover the essential requirements of the business rule, thus allowing automate and streamline efficiently production processes such as: Suppliers, Raw Material Registration, Supplier Payment Calculations, Production Registration, Production Expenses, Product Stock, Sales and Routing Expenses, thus helping to reduce calculation errors and have clear records of internal business movements. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used to maintain adequate control for the development of activities, establishing times and organization through user stories for each functional module of the system. The web system was developed with MVC architecture because it helps to separate the code in a way that facilitates the maintenance and scalability of the system, also used the technologies of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and JavaScript for the front-end and PHP (Hypertext Pre-Processor) version 8 for the back-end, the database engine used was MySQL thanks to the compatibility it maintains with PHP, finally the application was implemented in a Hostinger virtual server with the domain pasteurizadorajs.com

    Sistema web basado en arquitectura MVC para la gestión de Insumos primarios para la planificación del sistema eléctrico de distribución de la Empresa Eléctrica Ambato (EEASA)

    This project is based on the development of a Web System for obtaining Primary Inputs of Empresa Eléctrica Ambato; in order to access information in an easy and appropriate way, and to perform technical studies for decision making on the current state of the electrical distribution system and to plan its expansion. The web system made it possible to reduce the time spent by administrative staff in the process of obtaining primary inputs, in addition, the information obtained is updated and processed in the formats established by the ARCENNR or the EEASA. The development methodology applied was OOHDM (Object Oriented Hypermedia Design Method) that through the use of specialized models such as: conceptual, navigation and user interface, allows to simplify and make more effective the design of a web system. For the development of the web system based on the MVC architecture, the Angular Framework was used for its reusable web components, ease of manipulation of objects that allows a more agile development; additionally the java programming language was used for the creation of API Rest and the database is developed in Oracle 12c.

    Over the years, the use of technology has become a fundamental tool in different companies and institutions, allowing them to manage the information storage and systematize different processes. Pharmaceutical companies are no exception, since most of them control computer systems that avoid the manual control of business processes and the product inventory can be handled accurately and quickly. This project aims to design a web system for the pharmacy Farmared’s 257, this pharmaceutical company currently manages a manual control of the process of buying and selling of goods. This allows us to take advantage of current technological tools providing greater security in the Information Handling and Storage. In addition, the implementation of the web system allowed the optimization of several resources within the business, such as the process of inventorying products, the meticulous purchases and sales control, customer registration, suppliers and laboratories, avoiding economic losses due to possible unintentional errors in getting the money back. The web system was made with the combination of two frameworks. Laravel version 8 for the back-end and Vue. js version 3 for the front-end of the system. In addition, the MySQL database engine was used and the application was later deployed on a Digital Ocean virtual server under the domain farmareds257. com. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied for the realization of the system in order to have control over the activities to be carried out through the elaboration of user stories. In addition, training on the use of the system was conducted, primarily for the staff of the pharmaceutical company who will handle it, and the user manual was handed out.
