The objective of the research project is to implement a web application that has extracurricular activities to the academic reinforcement for the Basic General Education students of the “González Suárez” Educational Unit of Ambato city, with the purpose of improve the online education knowledge generated by the quarantine caused by COVID-19 pandemic, such as contributes to minimizing the knowledge difficulties of this teach modality. In the web application development has been used .Net core version 5 Framework, jointly with Clean Architecture for the application logic abstraction and PostgreSQL database manager. Pharmaceutical companies are no exception, since most of them control computer systems that avoid the manual control of business processes and the product inventory can be handled accurately and quickly. This project aims to design a web system for the pharmacy Farmared’s 257, this pharmaceutical company currently manages a manual control of the process of buying and selling of goods. This allows us to take advantage of current technological tools providing greater security in the Information Handling and Storage. In addition, the implementation of the web system allowed the optimization of several resources within the business, such as the process of inventorying products, the meticulous purchases and sales control, customer registration, suppliers and laboratories, avoiding economic losses due to possible unintentional errors in getting the money back. The web system was made with the combination of two frameworks. Laravel version 8 for the back-end and Vue. js version 3 for the front-end of the system. In addition, the MySQL database engine was used and the application was later deployed on a Digital Ocean virtual server under the domain farmareds257. com. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied for the realization of the system in order to have control over the activities to be carried out through the elaboration of user stories. The present project aims to help with new functionalities to optimize the activities carried out during the process and improve the interaction between teachers and students with the Academic Tutorials at the Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The Mobile Application was created based on the Mobile - D Methodology, achieving flexibility and swiftness during the use of the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language, ASP.NET Core 5 as a backend, that’s connected to the database designed in SQL Server. The companies that provide jeans washing services are not excluded from this, since most of them perform the control of their business processes and chemical inventory manually. For the above mentioned, the purpose of this project is the development of a web system for Chelos Washer, because the company currently has a manual control of the logistic processes and chemical inventory related to the jeans washing service. Consequently, the realization of the web system allowed the optimization of several processes, such as customer registration, collection, reception and dispatch of production, and control over the chemical inventory and suppliers, thus providing a better quality of service to its customers. The web system was built with Spring framework, making use of several of its dependencies: Spring Web, Lombok, Thymeleaf, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security and MySQL Driver to facilitate the development process. The database engine used was MySQL. Finally, to put it into production it was deployed in a virtual machine in Microsoft Azure with Ubuntu Server as operating system. The web system made it possible to reduce the time spent by administrative staff in the process of obtaining primary inputs, in addition, the information obtained is updated and processed in the formats established by the ARCENNR or the EEASA. The development methodology applied was OOHDM (Object Oriented Hypermedia Design Method) that through the use of specialized models such as: conceptual, navigation and user interface, allows to simplify and make more effective the design of a web system. For the development of the web system based on the MVC architecture, the Angular Framework was used for its reusable web components, ease of manipulation of objects that allows a more agile development; additionally the java programming language was used for the creation of API Rest and the database is developed in Oracle 12c.Item Aplicación Firebase Android para la gestión de tareas académicas a los estudiantes de educación básica en la Unidad Educativa Emanuel(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The objective of this project is to assist students and teachers of the Emanuel Educational Unit in the processes of academic homeworks by providing a technological tool for this purpose, so reducing the rate of non-compliance and helping the management of new knowledge. The firebase Android application is used in the sending and receiving homeworks process, saving their information, their details, and their respective instructions in the cloud so that students always have access to them, also notifications are sent reminding them to perform the homeworks and review them for their respective submission, achieving that the compliance rate is higher. In education, the teaching methodology has the need to adjust academic content with technological progress. The present project aims to develop an application to teach Ecuadorian Sign Language, since currently the applications that teach this language instruct basic elements. In this way the application aims to educate from basic elements to advanced vocabulary, in addition to constantly adding new signs because the sign language is constantly growing. For the development of the application, the Mobile-D methodology was used to have a better flexibility and speed in the face of changes during development, using the Kotlin programming language, Javascript in Node.js as backend and the database in PostgreSQL. In the present project, SEO techniques were developed through Crawl Budget to achieve an increase in the ranking of the website of the Educational Unit "La Merced", for which tools were used such as: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google My Business and Google Maps, the same ones that allow to show results, reports and tracking errors of the website and add information about the Institution so that it can be viewed from any device. The proposed methodology is Kanban because it has well-defined processes to be fulfilled periodically, it allows updating the tasks and evidencing the other pending, in process and finished activities. An analysis was done and it was shown that the web page did not have a good positioning and needed to improve the content, design and structure. In Ecuador, pasteurizers have many processes for their business rules, which is why they must manage computer systems that help to maintain and optimize daily production and inventory control records. The research project aims to implement a web system for inventory and production control in the Pasteurizadora J.S. of Salcedo city, because they currently have manual and semi-automatic records (Excel), for this reason through technological tools seeks to cover the essential requirements of the business rule, thus allowing automate and streamline efficiently production processes such as: Suppliers, Raw Material Registration, Supplier Payment Calculations, Production Registration, Production Expenses, Product Stock, Sales and Routing Expenses, thus helping to reduce calculation errors and have clear records of internal business movements. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used to maintain adequate control for the development of activities, establishing times and organization through user stories for each functional module of the system. They are also present in educational institutions for the control of personnel, or in the case of students for the registration of their attendance. The research project aims to develop a facial recognition system that reliably identifies the representatives or persons authorized to pick up students, in order to ensure a safe delivery of early childhood education students during dismissal. The current process is carried out manually, where teachers, based on their knowledge and experience, are in charge of delivering the students. The system was created in the Matlab development environment in its R2020a version, MySQL version 8.0 was used for the database manager and the facial recognition technique consisted in the application of Neural Networks, with the Alexnet pretrained network. The present work aims to apply a methodology of business continuity (BCM) to improve safety in the installation of a virtual platform, BCM describes the preparation and recovery of the platform against the contingencies, information is also collected from the current situation of the educational institution, identifies assets and critical processes, performs an analysis of the impact of business (BIA) and risk analysis to identify threats and vulnerabilities, as well as defined recovery strategies that provide the ability of resistance in the face of unexpected events. Information technologies are being updated and it is necessary to be constantly trained to always be at the forefront of each new implementation that exists. In the computer environment it is necessary to know how hardware and software work in order to provide the best service to those who need it; due to the demand that technologies have had in recent years, companies have chosen to improve their computer resources by entering the world of resource reduction. Within virtualization, we want to limit the use of resources to reduce costs and improve the performance of companies, since what a company wants is for its computer environment to be firm and sustainable to get ahead. The developers of the companies have chosen to use virtualization through virtual machines or containers for the use of multiple operating systems on a single server for the execution of applications developed on them without consuming too many resources. This project aims to demonstrate the use of virtual machines and containers in the testing of applications specifically developed in C#, it carries out a comparative Benchmarking between the two virtualization methods demonstrating which is optimal in terms of boot time, speed, performance, and use of resources. It generates 2 environments: The first is a Docker AlmaLinux 8.6 container and the second a AlmaLinux 8.6 virtual machine installed by means of KVM, in both the same application was tested and data was captured determining which one is best for testing applications generating firm conclusions for future companies to start applying it.Item Sistema cliente-servidor aplicando SNMP para el control y monitoreo de equipos informáticos en la empresa Ambacar Ltda.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. This has led to take into consideration the importance of adequately controlling and monitoring each of the computer equipment’s, in order to provide the best benefits for the organization. For this reason, the present research project aims to implement a client-server system using SNMP protocol, to improve the process of communication, updating, visualization, monitoring and search with each of the previously installed agents in the computer equipment of the Ambacar Ltda. company, by using a web server. For this purpose, each of the components that are part of SNMP management were developed, ASN.1 was used for the development of the managed information base (MIB), to store the required control information, and C# for client development, which runs in the background on each of the computer equipment, to adequately receive and respond to each of the requests sent by the server. The implementation of a multi-platform web system is the main objective of this research project. The application has a series of functions that help to manage activities such as: registration of appointments, filtering of available schedules, sending WhatsApp’ messages reminders of assigned appointments, as well as the administration of data and clinical history of patients that were previously done manually. The web system was developed with a real-time execution environment based on JavaScript called node.js, which allowed the implementation of the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and provides a cross-platform environment. The database manager used was MariaDB which guarantees security and accessibility to data while protecting the integrity of these, the implementation was done on a server in the cloud that has Linux operating system specifically the Alma Linux distro under the domain novadentsalud.com. Mobile – D methodologic is the most appropriate for mobile application development since, being divided into 5 phases, it helps to define functionalities, requirements, and the environment, all development phase, and unit testing with the stakeholders, that’s why project development has been making following these methodologic rules. In this context, mobile applications have an important role in this field, as they provide a comfortable and personalized shopping experience for users. The main objective of this project is to implement a mobile application that allows the sales of CrediComercio Cevallos to be managed online to adapt to the new e commerce trends and keep the ompany competitive. An analysis of the company's sales process was carried out and the needs and requirements of customers and sellers were identified. The MVVM architecture and the Flutter framework were chosen for the development of the application due to its capability to provide a satisfactory user experience and easy scalability. The backend was developed in PHP and MySQL which exchanges information with the frontend through REST APIs, which allows for efficient communication between the application and the database. In addition, the Mobile-D methodology was researched and used as a tool for the development of mobile applications. Currently most companies have devices and applications that facilitate the performance of their activities, information management, in order to optimize time and facilitate their execution. The objective of this project is to implement a system for the management of Human Resources information to improve response times in the attention to employees, managing in an automated way the information that is manipulated in the area, with the implementation of a web application that automates the information, reducing the risk of loss of information that is caused by the manual handling of the same. The web application was developed using the XP methodology, as a result of which the user stories and iterations facilitated the development of the activities required for the system, being efficient at the time of planning, design and testing, which allows to have an adequate control over the development times. For the development of the application we used the ASP.NET CORE MVC framework for the benefits and resources it offers, which allowed us to develop the application in a faster, more orderly and efficient way, due to the structure and different software components it offers; it also allows the use of relational databases such as PostgreSQL used in this project, non-relational databases, Excel, API Rest, among other data sources.Item Modelo de Machine Learning para mitigar los fraudes informáticos de phishing basados en la ingeniería social en la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas Electrónica e Industrial(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. When a user visits a Phishing URL, attackers obtain the user's personal and confidential information. Cyber criminals use various social engineering techniques to carry out identity theft or launch targeted attacks. Students and professors are not exempt from the strong influence of different social engineering techniques. Phishers seek ways to harm and make money through the manipulation and extortion of unsuspecting users. To address this problem, the present curricular integration work proposes implementing a Machine Learning model for Phishing detection deployed as a browser extension. 24 characteristics of its structure were extracted for the analysis of URLs and construction of the dataset. A comparison was made between various classification models such as Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Artificial Neural Network (RNA), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) to choose the most appropriate and best fit for the problem. Once the algorithms of the different training models were analyzed, the model used to classify URLs is an artificial neural network (RNA) achieving an accuracy of 99.98%. The purpose of this work is to help the FISEI community. The extension will mitigate and prevent users from becoming victims of malicious activities such as falling into Phishing URLs that apply various principles of Social Engineering.Item Aplicación móvil con sensores de movimiento y posición para el cifrado de información personal en dispositivos móviles(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Today, all users have a mobile device that generates a high level of interest for attackers. This broad interest is due to the fact that users store documents, photos or videos without using protection mechanisms. The objective of this project is to implement a mobile application focused on encrypting data stored locally, through a mechanism that is executed through movement patterns captured by device sensors or through direct user commands. The objective is to mitigate problems related to data exposure and theft through the internet or through device theft, which would compromise the personal integrity of users. In designing the mobile application, the MADLC methodology and Kanban were used to track the activities carried out during development, along with the MVVM architecture to create the project structure, due to its adaptability with Android Studio and real-time communication between data and interfaces. Companies that provide internet service aren’t exception due to the large amount of processes and information management involved, so they require the use of computer systems that help to better carry out their activities in order to offer a better quality of service to their customers. The objective of this research project is the implementation of a web application in the company Optynet in the canton of Quero, due to the fact that currently they have a manual control of the information, in addition the time spent to locate the clients homes is high, in the same way there is a low communication with them. Therefore, through the use of technological tools we seek to cover these requirements, adding functions to the application to help manage activities such as: customer registration, installations, technical support, suppliers, geolocation on maps with time and distance estimation, as well as sending payment notifications via WhatsApp, in order to offer a better service experience to customers. The web application was developed with ASP.NET Core and Angular technologies, allowing to have separate back-end and front-end, facilitating the maintenance and scalability of the web application; the use of libraries such as: AutoMapper, RestSharp and those comprising Microsoft.EntityFramework server-side and client-side libraries such as: Angular Material and MapBoxalong with the MySQL database engine favored the development process of the web application. In addition, the methodology used for the development of the application was Extreme Programming (XP) for its efficiency, flexibility and control in the fulfilment of processes through a good management of activities.
