Item Aplicación web responsive utilizando frameworks Open Source para la gestión de inventario y ventas en el frigorífico 'Don Llambo' en la parroquia rural de Pilahuín.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información.This research focused on the design and implementation of a responsive web application based on open-source frameworks for inventory and sales management at Don Llambo, a meat processing and distribution company located in the rural parish of Pilahuín. The study emerged from the need to modernize the company's operational processes, which were previously performed manually, leading to delays, frequent errors, and limited traceability in inventory control and sales record management. Data collection was carried out through a structured interview with the manager and Likertscale surveys administered to operational staff. The development process followed the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology through three iterations, enabling incremental progress and prioritizing key functionalities such as digital producto registration, JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, and automatic PDF receipt generation. The solution was developed using Angular 17 for the frontend, .NET 9 for the backend, and SQL Server on Azure as the database management system. This architecture allows users to access the system from any device equipped with a web browser without requiring local software installation. The results obtained from seventeen acceptance tests conducted with company personnel demonstrated a reduction in inventory reconciliation discrepancies compared to the previous manual process, as well as improvements in sales registration times. These findings validate the effectiveness of the proposed technological solution in addressing the operational challenges initially identified and contribute to improving the efficiency, reliability, and traceability of inventory and sales management processes.Item Desarrollo de una aplicación web basada en el modelo MVC para la gestión y visualización de un catálogo digital de ventas en la Empresa Ecology muebles(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información.Digital transformation has changed the way companies manage their products and interact with their customers. Small and medium-sized enterprises have found in web applications a key tool for modernizing their business processes and improving the user experience through digital catalogs accessible from any device. The main objective of this project was to develop a web application for Ecology Muebles, a company dedicated to the commercialization of home furniture in the province of Tungurahua. The company managed its processes manually through spreadsheets and informal channels such as WhatsApp and Marketplace, which resulted in disorganized information, delays in customer service, and a lack of reports for decision-making. The research was conducted under the bibliographic documentary modality, using structured interviews with the manager and the sales department, as well as a survey of fourteen clients, which made it possible to identify 21 functional requirements and 8 non-functional requirements. The implemented architecture follows the MVC pattern, using ASP.NET Core Web API in the backend, Vite React in the frontend, and SQL Server Developer as the database management system, following the five phases of the Waterfall methodology. The result was a web application featuring a digital catalog filtered by categories, a purchase process with WhatsApp notification, inventory management with automatic stock updates, sales records, statistical reports, and role-based access control.Item Aplicación web utilizando React para el reclutamiento y selección del personal en el departamento de recursos humanos de la empresa Megakons S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información.The growth of organizations requires the optimization of human talent management processes, especially in the recruitment and selection of personnel. In this context, a web application was developed using the React library in order to improve the hiring process in the Human Resources department of the company Megakons S.A. Currently, these processes are carried out manually, which causes delays, difficulties in handling information, and limited follow-up of applicants. The proposed solution allows for the centralization of vacancy management, candidate registration, resume collection, and facilitates the evaluation of profiles in an agile and organized manner. Modern web technologies were used to develop the application, prioritizing an intuitive, dynamic interface that is adaptable to different devices. The implementation of the system contributes to reducing administrative time, improving the organization of information, and strengthening decision-making in the Human Resources area. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información.With the purpose of modernizing and optimizing the management of clinical information in local health institutions, a technological solution was developed for the Medical Department of the Ambato Wholesale Market. This initiative addressed deficiencies such as the manual handling of records, the loss of documents, and the lack of security for sensitive information. The project focused on implementing a web application based on the hexagonal architecture for clinical document management. The technical proposal was founded on the separation of responsibilities using the hexagonal architecture, ensuring that the central business logic remained independent of technologies. Next.js was selected for the interface and MySQL for data management, which assures scalability and maintainability. Development was executed under the agile Scrumban methodology, responding to detailed requirements identified through surveys applied to 178 users and interviews with specialists. The validation of the data collection instrument using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient confirmed its consistency. Initial results evidenced problems in document delivery and delays due to incomplete histories. The final implementation of the system resulted in operational efficiency improvements exceeding 97%. Processes that previously consumed between 8 and 30 minutes are now executed in seconds. This allowed for automation, the reduction of human errors, and the immediate availability of histories. The final outcome was an improvement in organization, which enables medical staff to dedicate more time to direct patient care.Item Diseño de un plan de gestión para manejo y disposición final de residuos sólidos generados en parques, plazas y plazoletas del cantón Baños(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. In the field of veterinary medicine, this management is even more necessary due to the variety of supplies to be managed and the need to control stock and expiration dates. At the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Technical University of Ambato (HDV-UTA), supplies were managed manually. This led to inconsistencies in records, the risk of supplies expiring, a lack of traceability in records, and time spent recording and controlling supplies. In response to this situation, a technological tool was implemented that reduces operation times and improves the accuracy of the data managed. In this project, a web application was developed to digitize and automate the management of veterinary medical supplies. This project was carried out using the hybrid agile methodology of Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP) to enable continuous validation with staff. The system was developed in Blazor WebAssembly and ASP.NET Core 9 with SQL Server 2022 as the database management system. The solution integrated modules for recording supplies and batches, managing incoming and outgoing movements, real-time alerts, reports, and dashboards. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información.This research presents the development of a web application built with the MEAN stack to optimize grade management at the Unidad Educativa Fray Bartolomé de las Casas. The institution previously relied on manual procedures and outdated tools,which generated delays, inconsistent records, and limited access to academic information. To address these issues, a centralized system was implemented to register grades, attendance, and academic reports with secure, remote access. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was selected due to its iterative structure and focus on software quality. Through short development cycles, the main modules were implemented: user administration, academic structure, student registration, bulk data import, grade entry, attendance tracking, and automated PDF reports. The system was deployed in the cloud using Vercel, Render, and MongoDB Atlas, ensuring constant availability and secure data handling. User validation was conducted with teachers and administrative staff, resulting in a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 81.25, classified as “Excellent.” This outcome reflects a positive perception of ease of use, clarity of functions, and reliability. Participants emphasized reduced processing time, improved accuracy, and immediate access to academic documents. The project demonstrates that a modern web solution based on the MEAN stack enhances academic administration and provides a scalable foundation for future improvements. However, with the advancement of information and communications technologies, modernizing these procedures is essential to improve their operational efficiency. The Ecuadorian Air Force's Aerotechnics Improvement School (EPAE) manages its public procurement processes physically, making it difficult to clearly and efficiently track them. The study proposes the design, development, and implementation of a modern web application that, through an interactive interface, facilitates the transparent control, management, and monitoring of public procurement processes in real time. The project was based on a hybrid methodology between Scrum and XP, incorporating best practices from each. Its development structure is based on three layers using React and Node.js technologies. Through surveys, interviews, and direct observation, it was possible to diagnose staff needs, as well as the most critical aspects of current processes. The implementation of the web application has promoted a more organized and collaborative digital organizational culture, facilitating coordination between departments, reducing human error, and improving control and monitoring of process flow. Carrera de Tecnologías de la InformaciónThe efficient management of personnel information is a fundamental challenge in educational administration. In the Rumiñahui Educational Unit, located in Ambato, manual processes and the use of spreadsheets have generated difficulties for the agile access to data, affecting decision making and the generation of reports. In response to this problem, the development of a web application based on Angular and NestJS was proposed, with the objective of optimizing human resources management, centralizing information and improving administrative efficiency. The research adopted a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Direct observation of current processes, interviews with administrative staff, and surveys of faculty and staff were conducted to assess their needs and perceptions of data management. In addition, the development of the system was carried out using the agile Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, allowing for an iterative and adaptive implementation. As a result, a platform was designed and developed that centralizes personnel information, improves data updating and reduces inconsistencies. It was integrated with biometric systems for attendance management and a functionality for automatic generation of resumes and reports in PDF and Excel formats was implemented. The evaluation of the system showed a significant reduction in consultation and update times, improving operational efficiency. It is concluded that the implementation of web technologies allows optimizing human resources management in educational institutions, reducing administrative times and improving information accessibility. It is recommended that the application be expanded to other administrative levels and that additional improvements be explored, such as integration with government systems and advanced document management modules.Item Aplicación web usando python para el registro de la ficha médica y control de la posología para el Consulorio Médico “DUOMEDIC”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-08) Villacrés López, José Javier; Naranjo Ávalos, Hernán FabricioThe present research project focuses on the development and implementation of a web application for médical record management and dosage control for the médical office "DuoMedic." The application was developed to provide users with efficient and optimized access to médical records of patients. The application allows for the manipulation of data, including creating, deleting, editing, and displaying patients' médical records. It also generates detailed digital médical prescriptions to avoid prescription errors, which can then be sent to the patient. The application was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology to manage its development, enabling appropriate and organized changes. The application utilizes Django version 5.0.6 as its development framework, which incorporates the Model-View-Template (MVT) structure to assist with data flow registration. The database management system used for data manipulation was PostgreSQL version 16.3, providing security, robustness, and data accessibility. The backend was deployed on the cloud service platform Heroku.
