In education, the teaching methodology has the need to adjust academic content with technological progress. The present project aims to develop an application to teach Ecuadorian Sign Language, since currently the applications that teach this language instruct basic elements. In this way the application aims to educate from basic elements to advanced vocabulary, in addition to constantly adding new signs because the sign language is constantly growing. For the development of the application, the Mobile-D methodology was used to have a better flexibility and speed in the face of changes during development, using the Kotlin programming language, Javascript in Node.js as backend and the database in PostgreSQL. The main objective of this research is to provide students with an interactive and accessible tool that fosters interest and understanding of fundamental programming concepts. The project was based on a literature review related to teaching programming to pre-adolescents and the use of mobile applications as an educational resource. Additionally, field research was conducted, including surveys and interviews with teachers and students, to identify the specific needs of the target population. The developed mobile application is based on a teaching methodology that involves problem-solving and gamification. It provides a series of interactive activities and challenges that allow students to acquire programming skills progressively and motivationally. Furthermore, complementary didactic resources, such as tutorials and examples, are included to support the learning process. The development of a mobile application for teaching programming to pre-adolescents aged 9 to 14 in the city of Ambato has shown promising results. This tool provides an interactive and accessible way to learn programming, fostering interest and understanding of fundamental concepts. There is a variety of applications for all types of interests and some of these have helped as tools either for studies, work or other day-to-day activities. The present project aims to help with new functionalities to optimize the activities carried out during the process and improve the interaction between teachers and students with the Academic Tutorials at the Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The Mobile Application was created based on the Mobile - D Methodology, achieving flexibility and swiftness during the use of the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language, ASP.NET Core 5 as a backend, that’s connected to the database designed in SQL Server. These technologies worldwide are now present in the transport of the Ambato city, it becomes a vital need for users of urban taxis, who seek to move safely, efficiently and comfortably, so this project seeks to promote important aspects in the management of the taxi service such as: the location of units close to the client's position, safe units, authorizations, information and management of the trip closest to the destination, resulting in an intuitive application to the access service. This project was developed with the Android Studio tool, using the FLUTTER version 2 framework which is connected to the non-relational database designed in Cloud Firestore, a Firebase service. The application uses the Dart programming language, this language is open source and is used to create cross-platform applications quickly and flexibly. The methodology adopted for this project is Extreme Programming (XP), since it improves delivery times and changes occur in collaboration with end users. Finally, the main purpose of the Mobile Application was achieved, which is to be a useful tool to reserve the taxi service and meet the expectations of users and drivers, applying GPS technology and Google APIs, marking the most optimal route. in real time that will guarantee an efficient service for customers seeking access to the taxi service in our city through mobile applications.Item Aplicación móvil utilizando Kotlin para la difusión y evaluación de actividades académicas y culturales en la Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Currently, there is a diversity of applications designed to cover all kinds of needs and interests, from educational and work tools to applications that facilitate our daily activities. The project aims to manage the delivery of information about the academic and cultural activities of the Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial, in order to provide a centralized space to access information, receive relevant notifications, evaluate and share opinions. In the development of the mobile application "InfoApp", the Mobile-D methodology is applied in order to achieve an agile and efficient development process through periodic deliveries of functionalities. In addition, the Android Studio development environment with the Kotlin programming language is used. To manage the backend of the application, Firebase is used for database hosting and management, as it offers a wide range of services and tools aimed at simplifying backend administration. Among the services used are user authentication, Realtime Database for the database and Cloud Storage for image storage. As a result of this process, the mobile application "InfoApp" was created, which facilitates and optimizes the dissemination of information on FISEI's academic and cultural activities, improving interaction and feedback between the Faculty and its community.Item Aplicación móvil utilizando Kotlin para optimizar el tiempo de cobro de productos en supermercados(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-08) Ases Villacís, Jairo Mauricio; Aldás Flores, Clay FernandoOver time, commerce has experienced accelerated growth, which has generated a global expansion of supermarkets. due to their high competition, their main objective is the customer experience. This study addresses one of the most common challenges in the supermarket checkout process, specifically in handling unlabeled products. Therefore, applied research has been used, combining surveys of cashier staff and a sample of customers to collect information and opinions, in order to identify perceptions and possible improvements, while the assistance of the staff in generating their barcode when it is presented in a purchase, which customer discomfort and even lead to lost sales. The project materializes as a mobile application for Android devices, built-in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose. This application was also guided by the 5 phases of the Mobile-d methodology, developed with an API-Rest from Nodejs and an administrative panel in the Angular framework. Finally, the project has successfully culminated with the implementation of an innovative solution. Through a search accompanied by images for easy identification. Currently most companies have devices and applications that facilitate the performance of their activities, information management, in order to optimize time and facilitate their execution. The objective of this project is to implement a system for the management of Human Resources information to improve response times in the attention to employees, managing in an automated way the information that is manipulated in the area, with the implementation of a web application that automates the information, reducing the risk of loss of information that is caused by the manual handling of the same. The web application was developed using the XP methodology, as a result of which the user stories and iterations facilitated the development of the activities required for the system, being efficient at the time of planning, design and testing, which allows to have an adequate control over the development times. For the development of the application we used the ASP.NET CORE MVC framework for the benefits and resources it offers, which allowed us to develop the application in a faster, more orderly and efficient way, due to the structure and different software components it offers; it also allows the use of relational databases such as PostgreSQL used in this project, non-relational databases, Excel, API Rest, among other data sources.Item Sistema informático empleando la guía metodológica de Pere Marqués para el desarrollo de la atención y concentración en niños de etapa escolar con trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. In order to address the specific needs of these children, the implementation of a computer system based on Pere Marques' methodological guide is proposed. This system aims to improve the attention, concentration, and academic performance of children with ADHD. The analysis of the needs of school-age children with ADHD aims to develop effective strategies to enhance their attention and concentration during the activities implemented in the computer system. Pere Marques' methodological guide stands out for its formal approach and successful application in educational projects, particularly in learning management systems. Its utility in the design and development of the proposed computer system is acknowledged, providing significant benefits for educational software development. The computer system is implemented following the steps and guidelines outlined in Pere Marques' methodological guide, with the purpose of ensuring a rigorous and systematic analysis that guarantees the validity and reliability of the obtained results. This implementation, based on the methodological guide, offers an effective solution to improve attention and concentration in school-age children with ADHD. In Ecuador, pasteurizers have many processes for their business rules, which is why they must manage computer systems that help to maintain and optimize daily production and inventory control records. The research project aims to implement a web system for inventory and production control in the Pasteurizadora J.S. of Salcedo city, because they currently have manual and semi-automatic records (Excel), for this reason through technological tools seeks to cover the essential requirements of the business rule, thus allowing automate and streamline efficiently production processes such as: Suppliers, Raw Material Registration, Supplier Payment Calculations, Production Registration, Production Expenses, Product Stock, Sales and Routing Expenses, thus helping to reduce calculation errors and have clear records of internal business movements. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used to maintain adequate control for the development of activities, establishing times and organization through user stories for each functional module of the system. The web system was developed with MVC architecture because it helps to separate the code in a way that facilitates the maintenance and scalability of the system, also used the technologies of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and JavaScript for the front-end and PHP (Hypertext Pre-Processor) version 8 for the back-end, the database engine used was MySQL thanks to the compatibility it maintains with PHP, finally the application was implemented in a Hostinger virtual server with the domain pasteurizadorajs.comItem Sistema web aplicando Vue.js y Laravel para la gestión de comercialización de productos en la farmacia Farmared's N° 257(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Pharmaceutical companies are no exception, since most of them control computer systems that avoid the manual control of business processes and the product inventory can be handled accurately and quickly. This project aims to design a web system for the pharmacy Farmared’s 257, this pharmaceutical company currently manages a manual control of the process of buying and selling of goods. This allows us to take advantage of current technological tools providing greater security in the Information Handling and Storage. In addition, the implementation of the web system allowed the optimization of several resources within the business, such as the process of inventorying products, the meticulous purchases and sales control, customer registration, suppliers and laboratories, avoiding economic losses due to possible unintentional errors in getting the money back. The web system was made with the combination of two frameworks. Laravel version 8 for the back-end and Vue. js version 3 for the front-end of the system. In addition, the MySQL database engine was used and the application was later deployed on a Digital Ocean virtual server under the domain farmareds257. com. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was applied for the realization of the system in order to have control over the activities to be carried out through the elaboration of user stories. In addition, training on the use of the system was conducted, primarily for the staff of the pharmaceutical company who will handle it, and the user manual was handed out.
