Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2020) Fiallos Rivadeneira, Elizabeth Nicole; Fuentes Pérez, EliskaThe project entitled Non-conventional materials as an alternative in the interior design of shelters for pets, presents through a proposal the possible application of these materials in the design of interior spaces. Then, a field analysis of the spaces of the shelter was carried out for the intervention and proposal, through the user-centered methodology. Based on the data collected, different approaches were proposed, such as: the conditions of the place to intervene, the needs of a stray or rescued dog, its physical, physiological, psychological conditions, etc., as well as the needs of caregivers and adopters Materials were also selected based on their functional, aesthetic, sustainable, ergonomic, harmonic and affordable characteristics (bamboo, straw and PET bricks). So that at the time of making the modifications in the construction they can be carried out in an agile way and with a low environmental impact. Finally, we proceeded to the proposal of the application of unconventional materials in the design of spaces of the municipal shelter of the city of Latacunga. It, which responded with the improvement of the habitat of companion animals during the waiting process prior to being adapted. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2019-08) Gavilanez Soria, Andrea Stefany; López Ulloa, Fabián SantiagoThe present research work is based on the existent problematic on the climatic conditions and its influence in the interior design of hotels of the coastal region of Ecuador, in the "Hotel Vela" of the canton Esmeraldas, whose main objective is to elaborate a proposal of interior design that improve the quality of habitability of the guests and increased their experience of being in a space designed according to their needs while improving their travel experience either by trip or work as a result the fidelity and return of the client. Facultad de Diseño, Artes y Arquitectura. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2019-02) Vera Torres, Eduard Ismael; López Vaca, Luis AndrésThe modular design applied to a transient prototype of an emergent house is a result of the analysis about existing problems in countries susceptible to natural disasters, usually focusing on the issue of life quality in disasters and the lack of interest in the human welfare in design thinking. The design can’t be indifferent to human welfare, that’s why we designed for a specific user, however, in the process usually the user’s needs and requirements are missing, becominng this in a wonderful idea, but not functional for a user who requires specific components. The present project consider the habitability, in a model of temporary shelter as a fundamental part of its development, furthermore the quality of life as the user's relationship with the surrounding environment is established, being able to satisfy several specific characteristics present in the daily human development, such as physical, biological, social and cultural characteristics, as well as a place to attend a weather protection and which can use it at their convenience. The use of modular structures and principles of ephemeral design allows using the benefits whose they count, such as adaptability, flexibility, portability, and the participation of affected people, for better use of the designed object. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2018-06) Reinoso Chicaiza, Paola Estefania; Cardoso Pacheco, Pablo DanielNowadays, to reduce the number of abandoned animals that haunt the street, several municipal animal shelter centers were built, which as main objective is to provide shelter, protection and the opportunity to get a new home for the animals, also they provide various services such as deworming, vaccines and mainly sterilization.
