    Gestión de la comunicación y el manejo de situaciones de crisis en el hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua de Ambato

    The management of communication and the handling of crisis situations is key for institutions and even more so in health institutions such as the Hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua, because it allows the institution to respond quickly, minimize the impact and scope of the message in crisis situations, demonstrating an environment of transparency and empathy, in addition to maintaining trust it creates a connection between the institution and the users, who place in the hands of the institution and its staff not only their health but also their trust. The objective of this research is to determine how the Hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua handles crisis situations through communication. As this is an institution that provides health services, it is necessary that crisis communication be handled effectively in order to maintain a positive perception of the organization and strengthen the commitment to patients. The present research work has two approaches: qualitative and quantitative, for this, various data collection techniques were used such as the questionnaire applied to 359 users of the Hospital Solca Núcleo de Tungurahua, the interview with the communication coordinator and the content analysis of the publications of the Fanpage of the Hospital on the social network Facebook to obtain a deeper view on the object of study, this allows addressing both the perception of users and institutional communication strategies. The results we obtained through the techniques applied indicate that, the hospital has not yet faced a crisis situation that puts the image and reputation of the institution at risk, it is believed important the creation of the communication plan, to prevent the crisis. In addition, a lack of training of the institution's employees was identified so that in times of crisis they can act as spokespersons who can mitigate the impact and scope of the crisis.

    Uso de las nuevas tendencias comunicacionales en la gestión del GAD Municipal de Latacunga

    Communication evolves and transforms rapidly today. Therefore, this thesis work has the purpose of investigating the use of new communication trends in the municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of Latacunga, through the information collected from the publications on its official social networks. The details of interactivity, reactions, reproductions, comments, times that have been shared and saved were analyzed, which show high indicators of acceptance by users of these new communication formats, which share the activities of the administration. The content of each of the communications products was analyzed, to then be compared with each other, the new formats with the conventional ones. The methodology of this research is mixed. For the quantitative approach, content analysis was applied, in order to obtain exact figures and data in this project. In addition, as a qualitative method, interviews were used with officials from the communication department of previous administrations, who are familiar with the process of communication transformation for the department. In this way, they reflect their feelings and the challenges they have to be updated with trends, digital platforms, that help the brand of the Municipal GAD of Latacunga in the search for new audiences.

    La comunicación organizacional y la percepción ciudadana de la gestión del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipalidad de Ambato

    The present study studies the influence of the organizational communication of the Municipality of Ambato on the citizen perception of the inhabitants of the urban parish La Matriz regarding the management of the Decentralized Autonomous Government Municipality of Ambato (GADMA). In order to arrive at a solution to the problem, we have chosen to use quantitative and qualitative approach methodology, through surveys of the journalists-reporters in the city and the inhabitants of the urban parish La Matriz in the canton of Ambato, and the interview with an institutional journalist GADMA. Methodological resources that allowed obtaining relevant information. Once the data obtained from the perception were analyzed and interpreted, it was determined that journalists are aware of what happens inside and outside the GADMA and that they coincide in the deficiency of the processes of organizational communication and the work of The Head of Institutional Communication. On the other hand, most citizens do not feel heard and consider that their opinion is not taken into account for the decisions adopted by the Municipality and does not feel involved in them, which is why public participation is ignored, In the low level of satisfaction regarding the municipal public management qualified between regular and bad. With the results obtained, it is recommended to publicize the municipal services of the directions and departments belonging to the GADMA through a mass media of communication, which contributes to generate a mechanism of participation in which the citizens feel that their opinion is taken consider. Therefore it is suggested the production of a weekly interactive radio program for the dissemination of public services of the GADMA and citizen participation of the inhabitants of the canton Ambato.

    Las estrategias de comunicación para el desarrollo y la gestión de desastres naturales en los décimos años de educación Básica de la Unidad Educativa Bolivar de la Parroquia Matriz del Cantón Ambato Provincia de Tungurahua

    This paper analyzes the communication strategies for the development and management of natural disasters, several organizations have been concerned with sensitizing the population by requiring the use of communication resources. Poor communication strategies for development in disaster management have been identified as problematic, although the Provincial Department of Tungurahua, on the initiative of the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, has developed drills in educational institutions, which has not been sufficient. A qualitative - quantitative, bibliographical, field, descriptive and correlational study was carried out with a sample of 78 students and 10 teachers from the tenth years of the Bolivar Educational Unit of the parish of the parish of the canton of Ambato province of Tungurahua. Applied a survey obtaining the following results 53% of students have been made aware of how to act in the face of a natural disaster, 70% of teachers mention that if there are planned objectives to inform and guide, 55% of students answered that sometimes Has been prepared, the type of communication strategies used to sensib 55% consider educational videos, 32% considered the triptychs - diptychs, very limited television reports, radio spots and educational spaces on web pages, in relation to the level of knowledge, 80% responded knew of earthquakes , 49% of floods, 67% of volcanic eruptions, based on these, a "Strategic Communication Plan for the Development and Management of Natural Disaster Risk" was defined as a proposal, where strategies were implemented: information Natural disasters, sensitization and guidance on natural disasters of school integration, education and experiential communication that have specific activities to create a culture interested in dealing with an earthquake, volcanic eruption or flood.
