    La evaluación formativa en el proceso de formación académica del estudiante de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca

    The present research and development work has as main objective to analyze the application of the formative evaluation in the academic training of students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Cuenca, for the effect were established two hypotheses that were tested in A function of a correlational analysis of the results obtained in four of the questions raised in the data collection instrument, the result of which led to the acceptance of the alternative hypothalamus, conclusions were reached based on the results obtained and the objectives set, Which in turn establish the importance of the application of formative evaluation through the proper use of evaluation tools, a process that allows the teacher to approach their educational practice in solving problems associated with the generation of knowledge gaps in the moment In which the process is carried out and ductile, thus producing a feedback the process of teaching learning in benefit of the student's academic training, which in turn must be characterized by its integrality evaluating knowledge, skills and attitudes. Reference is also made to the importance of issuing qualitative criteria that motivate students to improve their academic performance. It promotes the application of formative evaluation processes that promote fellowship, group work, problem solving around a content or situation, characterizing this process as vital in the projection of students in the professional field of Health, that a future will be part of multidisciplinary teams of the medical field The formative evaluation is applied in the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Cuenca by the teachers in benefit of the students, based on the achievement of the learning results of the profile of career egress.

    La lectura crítica en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de séptimo año de la Escuela de Educación Básica Macará

    The present research work makes an analysis on the critical reading and its impact on the academic performance of the seventh year students of the Macará School, Ambato, Tungurahua Province. Once the problem has been detected, applying documentary and bibliographic research, the theoretical framework is built to properly base the research variables, based on information gathered from books, brochures, magazines, and the internet. Established the methodology of the field research are developed the appropriate instruments for the collection and subsequent processing of the information that allows the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the variables investigated, proceeding to analyze the data obtained statistically, being able to establish that if there is an incidence of critical reading in student achievement. Relevant conclusions and recommendations are defined. Based on the research revealed a proposal to solve the problem investigated in the application of pedagogical strategies for the development of critical reading in students, under the guidance of trained teachers. They are ten strategies designed with the constructivist vision, and collaborative and interactive learning, as tools to develop the performance criteria skills for seventh year students of basic education.

    Las TIC’S y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de escolaridad inconclusa en la Unidad Educativa Sultana del Oriente de la ciudad de Macas

    This research work about Tics and academic performance of Educational Unit Sultana del Oriente’s unfinished schooling students from Macas city, allowed to detect many causes which generates a low academic performance in students, in addition, through the results obtained when applying the survey showed that both teachers and students do not frequently handle TIC’s in their learning process. This study includes a bibliographical review of similar investigations in specialized libraries and in digital repositories, as theoretical support; A statistical analysis of the values found in the surveys were carried out and the hypothesis of the study was verified through a Chi square test. From the research findings, a proposal is prepared in order to solve the research problem.

    La adaptación curricular inclusiva en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes con discapacidad de la Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de los Colorados

    Santo Domingo de los Colorados high school is a medium-level public-type institution whose mission is to educate youth through the use of technology and the permanent practice of values. This is sustained by an adequate and continuous training of human resources in an organic and dynamic context to reach educational excellence which is framed by the principles of equality, equity, interculturality and inclusion. Thus, the issue of the application of inclusive curricular adaptation in students with disabilities of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados high school, arises in such a way that the academic performance of students with disabilities improves significantly and that teachers have the possibility to create differentiated work for this group of students. The overall objective was to determine the impact of inclusive curricular adaptation on the academic performance of students with disabilities at the Santo Domingo de los Colorados Educational Unit. The methodology that was used to carry out this research was of quantitative nature. The technique used to collect information was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were given to a sample of 23 students with disabilities and 112 teachers. The results obtained were tabulated in Excel tables. The validity of the alternative hypothesis was tested t of Student which verified that the inclusive curricular adaptation affects the academic performance of students with disabilities of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados high school. For this reason it is suggested that the teachers of the Santo Domingo de los Colorados Educational Unit implement the use of curricular adaptations to give the differentiated attention that students with disabilities are entitled to receive.

    Las drogas ilícitas y su relación con el rendimiento académico en los adolescentes de la Fundación Jóvenes para el futuro

    The present research was made in “Fundación Jóvenes para el Futuro” and it is aimed to study teenagers´ behavior under the influence of illicit drugs. Through the objectives, this investigation gathers information that allows us to analyze the types of behavior teens have and the relation that is produced with their academic performance. The causes and effects of this study problem can be established through a critical analysis in which the factors are the disinterest of parents towards their children and the disconnection of responsibilities that have deteriorated the emotional and cognitive development. Another factor of study is the school desertion that exists in the schools given that these teenagers cannot find a significant improvement in their situation so they prefer to leave their studies. In light to this situation, a question comes up about the possible needed conditions to make process in the academic development of the students who take part in this current problem. For this reason, surveys were applied which collected important data for the proposal. One of this approaches reinforces teen learners’ esteem and confidence, as well as, the importance of redoubling efforts to prevent the use of illicit drugs so that teenagers can know the consequences of the use of these substances. As a proposal to this problem in the schools, a complete teaching material set was designed which has a guide and direct application workshops to students, teachers and parents, in such a way, that the training was in an integral form and this allows the decrease of the number of school dropout.

    Los criterios de evaluación y la calificación cualitativa del nivel inicial de la escuela de educación básica Federación Deportiva de Cotopaxi

    This research work was carried out in order to inquire about "The evaluation criteria and qualitative rating of the initial level. The primary basis of this research was to show that arise evaluation criteria within qualitative rating of the initial level for sublevels 1 and 2. This research work was to determine the incidence of the evaluation criteria in qualitative rating of the initial level school basic education "Sports Federation Cotopaxi" parish El Carmen, canton La Mana, Cotopaxi province. Which was relevant to the application of a survey to teachers for students observation and observation sheet containing the same research topic they addressed to questions. The results showed that in the field concerning the qualitative assessment and criteria, there is difficulty in teachers to raise criteria for qualitative evaluation to make a true assessment to infants and their development, and that teachers do not use assessment tools that values participation, cooperation and creativity of the student, as an evaluation is maintained at the work done in worksheets leaving aside the true ability of the student should be the very essence of the evaluation.

    El proceso de acompañamiento docente y el refuerzo pedagógico en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Intercultural Bilingüe Nación Puruhá

    In the present research about the process of accompanying educational and pedagogical reinforcement in the students of Palmyra, canton, province of Chimborazo Guamote parish "Nation Puruhá" Bilingual Intercultural Educational unit". It is directed to make the process of teaching support, enhancing academic performance, promoting self-assessment, as a way to address from the kind of academic education of values and contribute to the comprehensive development of the students. The independent variable associated with the process of educational accompaniment, integrates descriptors that allow their better understanding in the context of the research: type structure, design and design, focused on the way that will develop the teachers as part of the training process within teaching and learning. The dependent variable is related to pedagogical reinforcement, which is made up of elements such as the academic performance of students, achievement and academic outcomes in educational processes and classroom.

    “La enseñanza de química experimental y el Rendimiento Académico de los Estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa General Eloy Alfaro”.

    El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo identificar por qué se está dejando de lado la enseñanza de química experimental por parte de los docentes, analizar la importancia de la misma en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y luego de haber realizado la investigación necesaria se concluye que los docentes han dejado de lado la parte experimental en la enseñanza de química ya sea por desconocimiento en técnicas de laboratorio, escasa infraestructura, o por falta de tiempo. Por lo que se propone elaborar una guía Didáctica de experimentación en el laboratorio para que los docentes la empleen, como una herramienta para fortalecer la teoría siendo una motivación importante ya que de esta manera ayudará a la formación cognitiva de los estudiantes de una manera creativa, promoviendo a que los estudiantes establezcan aprendizajes significativos en lo que ya saben y la comprobación a través de la práctica experimental en el laboratorio , llevándolos así a mejorar su rendimiento y por ende prepararlo para la vida.

    "La evaluación de las destrezas con criterio de desempeño en el área de Inglés y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del Colegio 11 de Febrero”

    El propósito de la presente investigación es mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de los octavos años de educación básica del Colegio 11 de Febrero, mediante la aplicación de la evaluación de las destrezas con criterio de desempeño en el área del idioma Inglés, en virtud de que hasta hoy en día los maestros continuamos con métodos tradicionales que muy pronto cambiará para el bienestar del estudiante. El Ministerio de Educación ofrece al estudiante oportunidades de perfeccionar nuevas alternativas de evaluación, obviamente con la responsabilidad de todos los docentes del área del idioma Inglés que ofrezcan vías de solución a la situación planteada; valga la ocasión para proyectar una propuesta alternativa en cuanto a la aplicación de evaluaciones de destrezas con criterio de desempeño. La presente investigación presenta la “Evaluación de las destrezas con criterio de desempeño del área del idioma Inglés y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de los octavos años de educación básica del Colegio 11 de Febrero que está orientada a mejorar el rendimiento académico, de los estudiantes, quienes mostraran su asentimiento e interés por el Inglés y estarán movidos a ser evaluados. El objetivo es que el estudiante y el docente se adapten a contar con alternativas innovadoras que faciliten la evaluación y el rendimiento. Es importante y significativo que se insista en el beneficio de conocer nuevas alternativas de evaluación y no seguir con los tradicionales exámenes, lecciones escritas, etc., de ahí la importancia de realizar la propuesta del proyecto. Es importante recalcar que las fichas propuestas para aplicarlas en la evaluación servirán como guía y fuente de consulta para todos los docentes que preocupados por mejorar cada día la calidad de la educación estamos comprometidos a buscar nuevas alternativas de evaluación.

    “La Evaluación Formativa incide significativamente en el Rendimiento Académico de los Estudiantes del Séptimo Año del Centro de Educación Básica “Joaquín Arias”

    Se procuró seguir una metodología investigativa basada en un enfoque cuantitativo; como modalidad investigativa, la indagación documental y el trabajo de campo permitieron diagnosticar y conocer de cerca la práctica pedagógica en las aulas y la realidad estudiantil, tomando contacto en forma directa con el medio existente. El trabajo realizado despliega datos relevantes, mismos que fueron obtenidos en base al establecimiento de la hipótesis: “La Evaluación Formativa incide significativamente en el Rendimiento Académico de los Estudiantes del Séptimo Año del Centro de Educación Básica “Joaquín Arias” del Cantón Pelileo, Provincia de Tungurahua".Para la verificación de la hipótesis, nula o alternativa, se utilizó un procedimiento estadístico que requiere datos nominales u ordinales, como es la prueba Paramétrica Chi Cuadrado X²;en el contraste de hipótesis se determinó la objeción la hipótesis nula H0, y la consecuente admisión de la hipótesis alternativa Hi:“La Evaluación Formativa incide significativamente en el Rendimiento Académico de los Estudiantes del Séptimo Año del Centro de Educación Básica “Joaquín Arias” del Cantón Pelileo, Provincia de Tungurahua". Por tal razón, y frente a los requerimientos de la actividad docente, se ha elaborado y desarrollado una propuesta educativa; se procedió a diseñar técnicas e instrumentos de evaluación formativa a fin de fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje y dotar a los docentes de herramientas que les permitan denotar el sentido formativo y retroalimentador propio de una actividad didáctica cuyos objetivos se centren en el aprendizaje; de esta manera crear un ambiente de evaluación en el que los docentes sean motivados hacia la concepción de un proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje que adopte una evaluación acorde con la formación integral de los individuos que participan en los procesos educativos, en la que se considere que evaluar no es solo asignar una calificación sino contribuir a la mejora de los procesos educativos en general.
