Aplicación web de aprendizaje (LMS) personalizado para la institución de formación gastronómica ENAG

Abstract

This research work focuses on the development of a customized Learning Management System (LMS) for the Gastronomic Training Institution “ENAG” in Ecuador. This project arises in response to the need to modernize the educational and administrative processes of the institution, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic that highlighted deficiencies in existing educational platforms. Using a field and bibliographic research methodology, information was collected through interviews and questionnaires applied to teachers and students. The results, evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), indicated a high perception of usefulness and ease of use of the proposed LMS. The system allows optimizing course management, improving communication and providing effective follow-up to trainees, thus contributing to a significant improvement in the quality of gastronomic training. The conclusions highlight the need for continuous training for users, the implementation of web and mobile applications, and the development of specific tools for internship management.
