Item Factores que influyen en las coberturas de vacunación de influenza estacional en niños menores de 2 años de la Parroquia Huambaló(2025-12-17) Escobar Caisabanda, Gerardo Misael; Chipantiza Córdova, Tannia Elizabeth; Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Centro de PosgradosThis study addresses the issue of factors influencing seasonal influenza vaccination coverage, which remains a global challenge. Annually, around one billion cases of seasonal flu occur worldwide, with Ecuador included in these statistics. The Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador uses inactivated influenza vaccines. The objective of this research is to analyze the factors influencing influenza vaccination coverage in children under two years of age in Parroquia Huambaló, belonging to Cantón Pelileo, Tungurahua Province. Educational interventions aimed at families and the community were implemented. A quantitative approach was employed as it facilitated numerical data for statistical analysis, and a cross-sectional design was used to identify vaccination factors at a specific point in time. Intentional sampling was conducted using the Fisterra program, which calculates a confidence level of 95% and a precision of 3%. The study sample consisted of 75 children from Parroquia Huambaló. The results allowed the identification of factors influencing vaccination coverage and helped establish more effective educational interventions for families and the community.Item Estrategias de terapia comunitaria para mejorar la comunicación entre padres e hijos(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2021-09-01) Vasco Alban, Veronica Paulina; Larzabal Fernández, Aitor Lcdo. MSc.This research work was done with the main goal that is improving communication among parents and children of the First level of Bachelor "A" of Juan Benigno Vela School of Ambato town. This project was taken into account due to the need for an intervention that would allow parents to improve communication with their children since the COVID-19 pandemic affected family life. The research emphasized on a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach. Based on that, a sample of 21 parents were selected through non-probabilistic sampling, a pre-test and a post-test were applied with the Family Communication Scale (FCS) which is elaborated by Barnes and Olson, it measures the perception of satisfaction regarding family communication: listening, expression of affection, discussing ideas and mediating conflicts. The effectiveness of the intervention was verified, so the posttest presented favorable results. It was concluded that the intervention reached significant results in parents when they communicate with their children. Meléndez Herrera, Mónica Cecilia Esp.Functionality in the elderly is part of a main axis for actions aimed at strengthening aging, as opposed to the increase in this age group. The various physical conditions or chronic pathologies have a negative effect on their functional capacity, which is why control actions are required in order to reduce dependency that contributes to further deterioration. This research has a quantitative, descriptive approach, with a cross-section of older adults in the Community of San Juan Latacunga in the period from 2019 to 2020. The total of older adults in the community of San Juan is 73 people, data taken from family cards and tests applied to older adults. The sociodemographic and cultural characteristics relevant to the study were: age, sex, marital status, level of education, ethnicity, religion, economic level. For this study, the Katz and Lawton and Brody Test was applied to measure the level of dependency of the older adult. It is evident that 49.32% (36) do not depend on third parties since they maintain their physical health, 36.99% (27) have a slight dependency, 2.74% (2) a moderate dependency, and as relevant data from the study, 10.96% (8) have a serious dependency, I feel related to the high rate of degenerative diseases that impair the vital function of older adults. The autonomy of infants leaves great benefits within the social area; they are children capable of fulfilling their responsibilities, they can selfregulate, they are persevering. It proposes as an objective: to design an educational program to develop parental skills and autonomy in children under five years of age, in reference to the methodology, a study with a quantitative, analytical, prospective approach was developed in which 33 children in the age range of 0 to 5 years and 33 parents, in which the level of autonomy and parental skills could be determined. In the conclusions it is determined that more than 50% of children are in the lap of the development of autonomy, the ranges evaluated were four, among them we have; 25 months to one day before turning 30 months, from 30 months to one day before turning 37 months, from 37 months to one day before turning 49 months, from 49 months to one day before turning 60 months. The positive parenting test applied to 33 parents within two age ranges of 0-3 years and 3-7 years, allows to show that more than 50% have difficulty exercising bonding and protective competences, it is established that children who They show a lapse in the development of autonomy in the same way with the same percentage of parents who have difficulty in exercising parental competencies within the four areas of parental competencies; linking, protective, reflective and formative, applying the Pearson correlation test it is verified that the two study variables have correlation. The family in a decisive way influences the formation and development of ethical, moral and spiritual values that will help to confront the normative and paranormativas crises within each one of the stages of the life that will modulate the quality of life of the present family and of the Following generations. There are risk factors that measure family interactions that take into account affective attachment, adequate assimilation with role application, cohesion, flexibility and communication among family members. These factors must be identified, socialized and tried to be improved or eliminated so that they do not affect the family functionality in its bio-psycho social aspect that is translated in the alteration of the forms and lifestyles reflected in the fulfillment or not of the Basic functions of each family. The economic function is applied in order to get the good administration of monetary resources that guarantee the conservation, well-being and the adequate level of family life. The educational function generates the transmission of historical -social experiences of daily life, the transmission of ethical, moral values, derived from principles, norms and regulations that are obtained from the heart of each family, translating into the individual personality The affective function is the link where basic brotherly love is created in every relationship. Idalberto Dr Esp.,Nowadays the whole world is experiencing a new phenomenon, which is the phenomenon of demographic transition, where the population of the elderly has increased considerably, according to the World Health Organization that in the year 2000 there were approximately 600 million Old adults, a figure that would double by 2025, all this has been achieved thanks to technological and scientific advances that have reduced mortality rates and increasing life expectancy, so there are more vulnerable individuals, with their own requirements And with little social consideration what would determine their quality of life. Ecuador is also experiencing this process without being the exception the Parish Victoria. In this context the present study whose general objective was performed. Determine the quality of life of the elderly from self-perception and the perception of the family in the ER 12 Victory in 2015-2016. A qualitative and quantitative approach was maintained, it was a descriptive study cross-sectional descriptive study yielded information as older adults perceive their quality of life and how they perceive their families. We worked with 70 older adults and 70 family, using the instrument WHOQOL-BREF developed by OMS with 26 questions, which describes the quality of life in relation to social, biological, physical and psychological determinants studied during 2016. SPSS20program was used with frequency measurements, standard deviation, and chi square. Results: the average age was 70 years. The 60% (42) of seniors reported perceive their quality of life as average and 40% (28) perceived as bad, while 57.1% refer families (40 ) for average quality of life and 41.5% (29) low. According satisfaction with their health 30% will answered satisfactorily, however little dissatisfied 34.3% and 25.7% very dissatisfied, the best results were men, married primary school level and living with their partners.Item La Discapacidad y su influencia en la salud familiar, del sector EU04, Pujili. 2015-2016(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Dirección de Posgrado, 2016-11-01) Vaca Jácome, Patricia ElizabethDra.; Darias Pérez Dra. Esp, Mercedes FléridaDisability constitutes a public health problem, a critical circumstance that can affect the family as a system. For this reason, it is decided to carry out this research in order to evaluate the disability and its influence on the health of the families of the EU04 Pujilí sector. The hypothesis was that the greater the degree of disability, the greater the negative impact. The methodology used has a qualitative and quantitative approach, field modality, is an observational, descriptive cross-sectional study. The study population consisted of 37 people with disabilities and their families. The study focused on an integral characterization of people with disabilities, adaptive resources, social support and the impact of disability in the different spheres of Family Health. For data collection, family records are used as the primary source, and the survey and validated tests of social support, adaptive resources, and the Family Impact Instrument (IRFA), with prior informed consent, are used as secondary sources. The processing and analysis is performed with the SPSS 20 system. The results are that the overall impact was slight with 64.9%, with the predominant negative sign with 70.3%, the family function variable was the least As the mild repercussion was predominantly positive. The universe consisted of 71 teenagers from 14 to 19 years; cuantitativa_Correlacional is a cross-sectional research. Instruments are applied: Survey of Sexual risk behavior, modified from the guide measuring risk behavior in adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean, the document review of the family record and the application of the Test of Family Functioning (FF -SIL). statisticians of central tendency and dispersion as mean, median, mode, and standard deviation were used to evaluate the possible association between qualitative variables the Chi Square test of independence was used. The results show that 49.3% had begun their sexual life; risk behaviors identified were: early onset of sexual activity, condom use and more than two sexual partners with P <0.05 by sex. As for the knowledge of prevention of these behaviors, mostly mentioned the condom, but less than 40% use; 54% of adolescents with sexual life belonged to moderately dysfunctional and functional with extended families and extended family type. Conclusions: large and extended families with a moderately functional and dysfunctional family dynamics, they cause increased frequency of sexual risk behaviors. Esp.In this paper the factors related to social inclusion in the disability Totoras parish during the period January to July 2016. It is an observational, descriptive, cross-type design, with qualitative and quantitative approach, conducted investigated 50 people with disabilities, where we study four areas: the social and family inclusion, holistic health, inclusive education and employment integration was studied. Among the results the average adult is the most representative with 34.0%, with a slight predominance of the male gender, most personan maintain a stable relationship (married and cohabiting). 44.0% have primary level education. The main type of disability is physical (64.6%) being the most common cause is acquired 68.0% recorded moderate disability. Undifferentiated scheduling (44.0%) is the predominant factor hindering accessibility to local health services. Disabled people refer feel supported by their families. 91.0% are beneficiaries of human development bonus. Only 33.0% reported having been included in educational field equal opportunity, people who meet the clinical and legal conditions for labor 62.5% have been included in the labor sector. Among the factors that are directly related to the lack of social inclusion of people with disabilities at local health, are not differentiated scheduling, and lack of training of professionals.
