Journalistic cinema is responsible for analyzing and interpreting the working life of the social communicator, where the confrontation of various problems with politics and criminal groups is exposed for not allowing free expression by reporting the truth. This research focuses on the critical analysis of the films: “El cuarto poder” and “Buenas noches y buena suerte”. The objective of this research is the study of the cinematic representation of journalism within each film. In addition, qualitative research was developed based on the content analysis of characters and scenes that allows for a detailed and structured analysis of each film. The results obtained in this research determined that the analysis and criticism of each film are inspired by the reality experienced by each social communicator in the different branches in which they work. Finally, the conclusion determines the interpretation of the film to the reality of the daily problems that each journalist has, using the foundations of the scenes that criticize the irregularities of the people who have power within politics and corruption.

The twentieth century has been characterized by the revolution in technology, with this change is achieved to link and interconnect the world generating advances in communication, new virtual platforms and the emergence of social networks changes the ways in which human beings relate, opinions and comments. Among the research question posed for this thesis is the following: What influence does the content on corruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, issued by media leaders and influencers of public opinion, have on public opinion? Is there greater credibility and monitoring of the characters when negative and attacking comments are issued? Mass communication in the digital era and with social networks reaches broad audiences with direct messages because characters like the ones in this research are the influencers and media opinion leaders achieve a legitimization of opinions, so that they get followers and thus give strength to these characters to continue to issue opinions in this case about corruption in Ecuador, Noelle Neuman (2010) in The Spiral of Silence states that "He can agree with the dominant point of view, which reinforces his self-confidence and allows him to express himself without reticence and without the risk of being isolated from those who hold different points of view" (p. 201) Self-communication in these social networks in this case Twitter has become a nest of true and false opinions given by public media characters and social actors (influencers). They use collective indignation such as cases of corruption and messages with negative content, in order to position themselves in the digital medium as social actors of opinion, according to Castells (2011). It is self-communication because one generates the message oneself, defines the possible receptors and selects the specific messages or contents of the web and electronic communication networks that one wants to recover. For the development of the analysis, we proposed to work with a content analysis, emphasizing the first 10 comments of each Twitter about corruption in the accounts of @TinnocoTannia and @PedritoExtranja. We then set out to execute a quantitative approach to obtain greater proximity to the questions posed, using the SPSS program and executing the cross tables for comparison between the characters analyzed. The research has four chapters that are divided into: theoretical framework, methodology, analysis and discussion of results to close with conclusions and recommendations.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2020-07) Ríos Castro, Johana Elizabeth; Espín Meléndez, María Cristina
This research work shows the importance of introducing an undeniably relevant topic to the current national and international legal field. In this order, the referred investigation contemplates an exhaustive analysis of the Ecuadorian procedure of extradition in causes related to acts of corruption, through crimes against the efficiency of the public administration; what allowed us to conclude the confirmation of the link between this problem and the evasion of the power that allows the State to punish criminal behavior. The methodology applied responds to the qualitative paradigm, through which a deep study is presented that includes and explains the components and shortcomings of active extradition along with its relationship with the evasion of the Ius Puniendi. The development of this investigative work, therefore, includes the analysis of real and updated data obtained through the National Court of Justice, the study of a complete case of failed active extradition and the review of expert professionals, professors of Law; which facilitated the interpretation and perception of the various socio-legal effects of the problem treated. In summary, the research line contemplated the bibliographic-documentary, field and casuistic modalities, supported by exploratory, descriptive, correlational and explanatory levels. This as a whole determined the construction and presentation of this novel product for the social sciences that manifests itself through an insightful optic, destined to contribute through recommendations to the improvement of the active extradition procedure in Ecuador.
