Item Políticas públicas de control al comercio justo y los derechos económicos de los productores lecheros(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2025-03-28) Ramírez Álvarez, José Rodrigo; Espín Meléndez, María CristinaThis research addresses the challenges faced by small dairy producers in Ecuador, including low commercialization prices, unfair competition, and limited access to fair markets. Despite existing public policies and regulations aimed at promoting fair trade, their impact on the economic sustainability of the sector has been minimal. The main objective was to analyze fair trade public policies and their influence on the economic rights of producers, identifying strategies to improve their economic conditions and promote equity in the dairy sector. The methodology combined qualitative and quantitative approaches, including document reviews, structured surveys, and statistical analysis. This approach evaluated producers' perceptions and assessed the impact of public policies on their income and sustainability. Results showed that 80% of respondents believe public policies have not improved their economic conditions. Key challenges include high production costs (28%) and limited market access (22%). The most demanded measure was technical training (28%). The main conclusion is that current public policies are insufficient to address the structural issues of the sector. A key recommendation is to strengthen fair trade policies through technical training, economic incentives, and improved market access, ensuring equitable and sustainable impacts for small producersItem El rol del trabajador social en la gestión pública del gobierno autónomo descentralizado municipal del cantón Latacunga(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2025-02-24) Meneses Pérez, Leo Alejandro; Torres Carrillo, Silvia SusanaThis study, carried out in the context of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of Latacunga Canton (GADMCL), analyzes the role of the social worker in public management, emphasizing its impact on the planning, execution and sustainability of municipal projects, as well as on mediation and conflict resolution. Through interviews with Departmental Directors and social workers, it was identified that this professional acts as a key mediator between citizens and public institutions, ensuring that institutional responses are relevant and aligned with social needs. The qualitative analysis shows that social workers contribute significantly to the identification of social problems, the formulation of public policies and the implementation of community projects, highlighting their skills in communication, leadership and conflict resolution. In addition, their humanistic approach and personal values such as empathy, solidarity and professional ethics position them as strategic agents in the promotion of social inclusion and collective well-being. However, the study also reveals structural barriers, such as a lack of resources and institutional ignorance of their strategic role, which limit their impact on public management. Despite the limitations, social workers demonstrate adaptability and creativity in overcoming challenges, strengthening the community fabric and promoting the sustainability of municipal projects. Finally, it is concluded that strengthening the role of social workers in public management requires ongoing training programs, greater integration in strategic planning and the creation of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. These actions will ensure a greater impact of this professional in institutional management and in responding to citizen demands.Item Producción Textil y las Políticas Públicas de la Erradicación del Trabajo Infantil en el Cantón Pelileo(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2024-08) Andaluz Castro, Jessica Estefanía; Masabanda Analuiza, Galo IvánThe phenomenon of child labor is recognized as one of the main concerns worldwide, especially in undeveloped countries; This problem not only violates the rights of children, but also has negative consequences such as education, health, the economy of society and human development. In the Pelileo Canton and at the national level it is painful and regrettable to see that in textile industries such as factories, warehouses and textile washing machines, child labor is used without observing certain legal regulations that violate the fundamental rights of children by failing to comply with protection measures. Therefore, the objective of the research is to conduct an analytical study of the development and effectiveness of textile production; the application of public policies in the Pelileo canton of the province of Tungurahua, which allow the eradication of child labor. The research is conducted through an exploratory approach study supported by the quantitative method, for which it is based on a biographical study on textile work and its implications. The main result is that even though the prohibition of child labor is framed in the regulatory bodies, there are still workplaces that violate Ecuadorian legal labor regulations. The importance of the development of the research topic of the degree work is due to the fact that the university woman carries out her academic training despite her obstacles, in addition to the fact that the legal norm supports her access to higher education with equality and equity. The objective on which the research is focused is to identify the perspective of rights and academic training of university women with which it is possible to collect relevant information on each variable and how they have evolved together to the present day despite the persistent challenges in society. The methodology used within the research is given through a qualitative approach, the same that is accompanied by a descriptive level of study, field and documentary research modality, inductive-deductive and historical-logical research methods, as well as the identification of the population and sample using the interview as a research method. The results obtained after applying the correct methodology were through a critical analysis of the information collected and development of the discussion based on the information investigated that helped the understanding of the subject of the perspective of rights and academic training of women within higher educational establishments. The main objective of this research project is to "Analyse public policies to eradicate violence towards the elderly in the Salcedo Municipality", for which it has been necessary to apply the qualitative-quantitative method, using descriptive, explanatory and analytical research. Data collection was carried out through the application of techniques and instruments such as a survey of older adults and interviews with the authorities of the Salcedo municipality linked to the protection of the rights of older adults. In Ecuador, the Constitution stipulates the joint obligation of the State, society and family in terms of promoting the ideal development of the minor, which refers to how children and adolescents should belong to an adequate environment; in the same way, persons with disabilities are positioned as a group of preferential attention regarding their social inclusion. Within the legal system, regulations such as “Código Organico de la Niñez y Adolescencia” do not contemplate parameters related in a specialized way to the adoption of children and adolescents with disabilities, in the face of an unfavorable reality for this group. Therefore, this research analyzes the adoption of children and adolescents in Ecuador, with a focus on the rights of people with disabilities in accordance with the Priority Attention, through a descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, which is developed under the research line of Public Policy, Law and Society. Consequently, it is obtained as a result, that in the Ecuadorian system is notorious the inexistence of state actions directed at promoting the adoption of minors with disabilities, thereby affecting the inclusion of this group in a situation of double vulnerability, therefore, the generation of public policies according to Material Equality is proposed.Item Las políticas públicas y factores que generan desempleo en jóvenes profesionales del Trabajo Social(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-11) Salazar Bonilla, Selena Estefanía; Martínez Bonilla, Carlos AlbertoThe purpose of this research is to study a current problem, focused on the analysis of public policies and the factors that influence unemployment, especially among Social Work professionals in the city of Ambato, a population that affirms that the fact of studying and obtaining a university degree does not guarantee a stable job; In turn, through this work we intend to diagnose if the professional profile of the social worker has high levels of knowledge, creativity and leadership that fit the labor market, as well as to study the particularities and conditions that public and private companies handle for the insertion of new professionals in jobs, and how the country through its public policies give support to new professionals in social work for the search for employment. The research is based on a mixed approach, which collects, analyzes and links quantitative and qualitative data in the same study, so it was necessary the application of surveys and interviews with which relevant information was obtained, concluding that current public policies on youth employment in Ecuador, help to address the factors that generate unemployment in young professionals of Social Work, allowing them to access a job through the various projects that have been created, reducing the unemployment rate in the country
