    The labor rights are a duty of the State, which has the obligation to ensure the effective compliance in all areas where a labor activity is developed, so that citizens in general enjoy a decent employment and on equal conditions, however, despite the existence of regulations that guarantee the fulfillment of those labor rights, such as the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the labor code, constitutional mandates and ministerial agreements, the violation of rights to the interprovincial public transport sector has not been avoided, the present investigation has the intention of analyzing if the current labor regulations effectively guarantee the fulfillment of the fundamental rights of the workers in the interprovincial public transportation sector, the control by labor authorities and also the level of knowledge of their rights, through a bibliographic, documentary and field investigation applying the qualitative and quantitative method to obtain results, by means of a survey instrument applied to 80 workers of the interprovincial public transportation sector, among them professional drivers and service assistants, found mainly in the land terminal of Ambato city north and south, in addition to the application of surveys directed to the labor authority, associate of transport cooperatives, resulting in a lack of guaranteed compliance with labor rights, despite the existence of regulations and the ministerial agreement that supports rights, lack of knowledge of labor rights, and ineffective controls by the labor authority.
