Maestría en Gestión del Talento Humano., 2018) Guijarro Toalombo, Sandra Maribel; Guamán Guevara, María DoloresThe present research project seeks to present the evaluation of performance as a tool for the organizational development of the personnel in the metal-mechanic sector, with a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach with which the data collection and data analysis is applied and validated. the hypothesis previously raised with a reliable statistical method, it is worth mentioning that the research modality is exploratory since it is the first time that the relationship between performance and organizational development is measured, it is descriptive and correlational since it describes the facts and the research variables are related; With this information we can develop the proposal of a model that allows to measure, in an objective way, the integral performance of the personnel, which is developed in stages; first, the knowledge, organizational and specific competencies that the company requires of the staff through the methodology is defined, the objectives that are required in each position are defined with a definition of indicators, finally, the data are related in a matrix of results that it allows to identify in a visible way the level in which the collaborator is with what can be established the activities in an effective gap closure plan, finally it allows us to visualize the development curve of the performance of each collaborator.
