    This thesis focuses on the study of job satisfaction of the female gender in comparison to the current policy of classification of the administrative personnel of the Autonomous Municipal Decentralized Government of canton Latacunga. Once the problem is detected it is analyzed contextually at a macro, meso, and micro level, the justification is done and the general and specific objectives are established. Thanks to bibliographical research, we proceed to the construction of the Theoretical Framework to properly base the variables of the investigation, based on the information gathered from books, brochures, magazines, internet, and laws, stating the hypothesis: The classification of administrative staff positions of the Autonomous Municipal Decentralized Government of Canton Latacunga influences the development of the activities of the employees; hence their job satisfaction as an early response to the problem, which was then verified by statistical procedures. Once the research methodology is established, the appropriate tools to be used for processing information as a basis for quantitative and qualitative analysis of the investigated variables are formed, proceeding then, to statistically analyze the data and draw a conclusion. Based on the research results, a solution is proposed. This solution is aimed to proposing strategies to improve the levels of job satisfaction, and to contribute enjoyable material for the authorities and staff seeking to increase the performance of the staff and the Institution.
