    Customer service channel saturation has been a growing challenge for many companies, especially with the rise of platforms such as WhatsApp. According to a 2020 McKinsey & Company report, the use of instant messaging for customer care increased by 80% globally, leading to critical saturation that limited companies' efficiency and ability to grow. This phenomenon highlighted the urgent need for technological solutions that optimize customer service, without compromising service quality. The purpose of this research project was to address this issue at Ingedemy, where the saturation of customer service channels, particularly WhatsApp, hindered agile and personalized interaction with customers. The initiative focused on developing and implementing a robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution that would improve the clarity of information, reduce response times and personalize each user's experience. The solution adopted integrated several technologies, including a chatbot based on GPT-4, web scraping techniques to obtain updated information and a web platform for performance analysis and lead management. The chatbot interacts efficiently through WhatsApp, using a NoSQL database in Firebase, the web platform includes a Kanban board and a dashboard for metrics visualization. This integration enables smooth and efficient management, optimizing processes and improving the customer experience.

    Aplicación web de mensajería asistida con IA en redes sociales para personas con discapacidad visual

    The integration of digital technologies by visually impaired individuals poses a significant challenge to achieving accessibility on communication platforms. According to the INEC, in the canton of Ambato, located in the province of Tungurahua, approximately 1,127 people with visual impairments face barriers in using social networks due to the lack of appropriate tools and incompatibility with assistive technologies. This project aims to implement an assisted messaging system with natural language processing to facilitate interaction for visually impaired individuals on social networks such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, and email. It leverages technologies such as voice synthesis and recognition, along with auditory feedback, to enhance accessibility, improve efficiency, and reduce message delivery times. Additionally, it incorporates multimedia content search and playback, promoting digital inclusion and fostering greater technological integration. The project development process begins with requirements gathering through interviews conducted using a questionnaire based on the IEEE 830 standard. For system development, React was used for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. Firebase served as the database manager, while Dialogflow was employed for natural language processing. The applied methodology was Extreme Programming, tailored to the project's specific needs. Finally, acceptance testing, usability evaluation using the SUS scale, and accessibility testing were conducted to validate the system's compliance with requirements and its performance

    Nowadays, organisations are trying to systematise manual processes using tools and new technologies that help to improve processes, reduce time, eliminate errors and improve user satisfaction. This work was developed with the intention of automating the processes involved in charging for the irrigation water service in the "Quillán Loma" Modular Irrigation and Drainage Board, through the integration of a progressive web application, which will allow streamlining, control and synthesize information in an ideal manner within the Irrigation Board. With this effect, it was possible to reduce the time spent searching for the values to be paid both in rates and hours of irrigation and consequently charge the user belonging to the Irrigation Board. In addition, it allows the dissemination of notifications by email, improving the user experience to find out about the date and time in which the sessions or mingas will take place. The application was developed using React in version 18.2.0 in the frontend, which uses JavaScript, which is a high-level, interpreted and versatile programming language. The back-end was implemented in Node.js in version 21.4.0, it offers a wide variety of libraries that allow the development of robust, secure servers and also uses a non-blocking I/O (Input/Output) model that makes it makes it scalable and suitable for real-time and highly concurrency applications. Jointly, the XP (Xtreme Programming) methodology was put into practice, which was relevant in the development of the project to carry it out in an organized, concise manner and in this way deliver quality software that meets all the client's requirements and expectations.

    Las aplicaciones web son una rama de las tecnologías de la información (TI) con más auge en la actualidad, siempre se mantienen en constante evolución y utilizan un diseño intuitivo y fácil de usar, incorporan elementos visuales atractivos que favorecen la interacción con los usuarios, las aplicaciones web se utilizan para una amplia gama de propósitos, sean de entretenimiento, salud, educación, economía, entre otros. El presente proyecto se centra en el desarrollo y la implantación de una aplicación web para optimizar la gestión y seguimiento académico en el Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil de la Unidad Educativa Bolívar. El objetivo principal es mejorar la eficiencia y eficacia del DECE en la gestión de la información de estudiantes y representantes, así como en el seguimiento académico y la atención a casos de vulnerabilidad dentro de la institución. Para la ejecución de la aplicación web se utilizó React y Nodejs, herramientas que permiten desarrollar aplicaciones web de alta calidad, se aplicó la metodología Rapid Application Development (RAD) la cual promueve flexibilidad, rapidez de desarrollo y mejoras del producto mediante feedback del usuario. La aplicación permite a los consejeros del DECE gestionar los datos de los estudiantes y representantes, así como facilitar el acceso a la información y optimizar el seguimiento de los estudiantes. Estas implementaciones han contribuido a mejorar la calidad educativa de la institución, ya que los consejeros estudiantiles ahora pueden identificar a los estudiantes que necesitan apoyo y tomar medidas necesarias de acuerdo la situación.

    The project focuses on the development of an application for route management, geolocation, and control of expenses and income for the water distribution service of the company. Geolocation applications have gained significant relevance worldwide as they enable people to carry out their daily tasks more efficiently and in less time. At the same time, the growth of mobile devices has played a fundamental role in today's society, as people want to access a wide range of information through these devices, allowing them to stay connected anywhere on the planet. With this context, the present project aims to provide "Rutas Doradas S.A." company with a system that simplifies access to the water distribution service through an application that allows route management and monitoring through mobile devices easily accessible to the company's staff. The system developed to meet these objectives uses freely available tools such as the React Native framework, as well as the MongoDB database and a set of open-source libraries that run on JavaScript, a versatile programming language. It is important to note that this project is also based on socket technology, which allows real-time communication between the application and the users. This is especially relevant to ensure accurate tracking of routes and facilitate interaction between the company's staff and customers. In summary, the project focuses on the development of an application for route management, geolocation, and control of expenses and income for the water distribution service. It utilizes technologies such as React Native, MongoDB, and JavaScript to provide an efficient and easily accessible solution for the company. The application will enable real-time communication and facilitate coordination and tracking of water distribution routes.

    Nowadays, the use of new technologies has become a fundamental part of the development and progress for non-profit organizations, due to it serves as a tool to make themselves known, obtain socio-economic help, and advertise different services. Also, these technologies allow to get a better information management and automate any internal process. The purpose of this project is to help San Anián Foundation in the processes that are carried out for people registration in their courses, because they currently does it manually. For this, a web App implementation will optimize these processes, preventing loss information, and also it serves like a tool for advertising courses to other people. The web app was developed with the React library, which uses JavaScript. This library has different tools that improve the way to make apps such as Material UI and React Router DOM. The methodology applied for the development was Xtreme Programming (XP) due to the size of the project and different factors which influenced its choice. Finally, Firebase was used as a Back End technology because it has different functionalities, like Firestore, which is a NonSql database.

    Around the world, geolocation applications have played an important role in the development of technology, making it easier for a large number of people to carry out their daily tasks with greater agility and in less time. On the other hand, the rise of electronic equipment has also played a role. a relevant role within society since people currently want to find a large amount of information through these devices, providing the ability to find communications anywhere on the planet. It is for the aforementioned that this project has been developed with a focus on the student environment, with the purpose of providing students of the Technical University of Ambato with a system that facilitates access to the university transport service, through an application that allows the management and monitoring of routes through electronic devices that are within the reach of students. The system developed to meet these objectives, are developed in free access tools such as the React framework and React Native, as well as a database manager called PostgreSQL and a set of opensource libraries that work under the TypeScript programming language. Additionally, it is important to emphasize that this proposal has a technology based on the development and implementation of sockets, which makes it easier to maintain real-time communication between the application and the user

    With the arrival of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) all face-to-face activity worldwide has been paralyzed, implementing multiple biosecurity measures, and as the virus vaccine has expanded, face-to-face activities are gradually normalized, resulting in the exposure of multiple people to be infected or transport the virus. According to the WHO (World Health Organization) it is advisable to maintain the distance of at least 1 meter between people, both in open and closed places so that there is no contact between people because the virus can spread in a short distance in the air or through the exchange of objects. Based on the aforementioned problem, the development of the automation of fare charging in the urban transport cooperative "Unión Ambateña" in the city of Ambato arises, which consists of eliminating all contact that a user driver of a transport unit has with the passenger users who take the service for the transfer of one place or another within the city. The system will automate the collection of the ticket in an urban transport unit through NFC cards that allows the exchange of information without making any contact with the reading device, avoiding contact between the driver user and the passenger user. The system will consist of a web application that allows the administration of the charges made in each transport unit, it will also consist of 2 information reader and writer devices that allow the interaction of the NFC cards with the Web application and finally will carry out a control through a mobile application where the passenger users will be able to visualize the actions that their respective cards are performed in each transport unit.
