    Gestión de residuos sólidos en la empresa I.M.ESCO.

    La presente investigación se centró en la gestión de residuos sólidos en el área de producción de la empresa I.M.ESCO, la cual se especializa en la fabricación de equipos de transporte pesado, tales como volquetas, buses, remolques, semirremolques y equipos de construcción, como carretillas. Dada su naturaleza comercial, la empresa genera diversos tipos de residuos, entre ellos recortes de metal, fibra de vidrio, partículas de metal, cartón, plástico, virutas metálicas, escoria de soldadura, material de lleno, lijas, remaches, cables, conexiones, guaipe, envases y recipientes de productos químicos. Se llevó a cabo una recopilación de información interna con el objetivo de comprender la situación actual del manejo de residuos en la empresa, considerando su actividad principal de fabricación de carrocerías pesadas. El análisis incluyó la evaluación de riesgos laborales, lo que condujo a la elaboración de un manual de gestión de residuos sólidos. La evaluación de riesgos laborales, basada en el código CRETIB y la guía técnica colombiana GTC-45, proporcionó una comprensión integral de los peligros asociados al área de producción. Este manual ofrece pautas detalladas y medidas prácticas para reducir la generación de residuos y asegurar su disposición final de manera adecuada. Al incorporar estrategias proactivas, se busca no solo minimizar la cantidad de residuos sino también prevenir impactos adversos en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Este manual también proporciona directrices para evitar cualquier impacto perjudicial en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores.

    Gestión por procesos en la Industria Metálica Cotopaxi

    This research proposes the implementation of process management to improve the 4- tray static furnace production line at “Industria Metalica Cotopaxi”, where the main problem identified was the lack of coordination, standardization, and documentation in the development of activities related to operational processes. In addition, it was evidenced the execution of tasks in an empirical way due to the fact of absence of a standardized guide, in fact, the workers perform repetitive tasks or tasks that do not add value. Therefore, a rigorous analysis of the company’s current situation has been carried out through different methodologies, such as the observational field, a free interview with the production coordinator, and the gathering of processes using management tools such as information collection sheets. These cards detail the essential characteristics and observations of the activities. Flow charts were implemented to develop a fundamental role in the standardization, making it possible to visually represent the sequence of activities that make up each of the operational processes. Furthermore, six technical indicator sheets were developed to ensure the proper flow of activities, improving the performance of the processes, thus contributing to continuous upgrading in production. Finally, a manual of processes and procedures was developed to provide the company’s employees with a standardized guide for the execution of various activities in the different processes. This manual integrates records for each sequence, thus providing greater control over the developed activities, with a prioritized focus on the necessities and requirements of the customer.

    The administrative problems present in the institutions influence the generation of conflicts, inconveniences and bad communication. The objective of this research is the elaboration of an Administrative Processes Manual for the Construction and Maintenance Unit of the Public Works Directorate, the problema arises from the lack of information and structuring to carry out the development of the administrative process that will be executed later on. The methodology applied in the study process is qualitative and investigative, since all the necessary information has been collected to be able to carry out the work. The type of research carried out is field research, so allowing for direct information on the problems identified, and flow charts are used to better understand the description and análisis of each process. The research techniques used are direct interviews with the head of the unit and to survey of the unit employes. Information collection sheets are used, which will be used to gather information and prepare the manual. The proposal is based on the administrative processes that are carried out in the administrative área of the unit, the respective flowchart is included; where the employe will be able to know the flow of the procedure to be executed. This will achieve that new personel and those who do not comply with the job profile will have knowledge of the process to be followed. The manual will avoid, as far as posible, that the work is done empirically by the employe.

    Nowadays and worldwide, managing processes has become the first step to improve the performance levels in all types of industries, so that companies are in a constant look for standardized guidelines that allow them to remain competitive in market, with sole purpose of satisfying needs, requirements and expectations of customers. Research development exposes a process management model for the yogurt production line of PROALPI MILAC company; the main problems of this organization lie in the fact that it does not define a standardized production due to the lack of key documentation that guides the operators to develop their activities in an optimal way, giving way to raw material waste increase and other resources related to production. The objective of this study is to provide the company with a documented process support with clear, concise and orderly information, so that operations can be performed in a systematic way; For this purpose, it was started by analyzing the current situation of the production line through a survey of information to identify the processes that are carried out for the yogurt manufacture, jointly with the process map of the company in order to have a concrete and global vision of all the processes of the organization, thus establishing mechanisms such as manuals, procedures, records and guides to better describe necessary tasks for yogurt production to improve the operators performance. For this reason, it is proposed to prepare a procedures manual for the yogurt production line to organize and structure the documented information of the organization; this document will also serve as a primary element of consultation, training and induction of workers.

    The present research work focuses on the environmental risks of the company INDIQUIMICA S.A., where information was collected to know the initial situation of the organization, taking into account that the company is dedicated to the production of disinfection chemicals for home, industrial and institutional, for this reason the purpose was to carry out a risk analysis and a manual to mitigate them. In order to know the level of compliance with the standard, a check list of ISO 14001:2015 was carried out, where the percentage per chapter and globally of INDIQUIMICA S.A. was determined, as well as compliance with the current legal matrix in Ecuador, After that, the risks and dangers generated in the production activities were analyzed, evaluated and estimated, where the possible scenarios were weighted according to the UNE 150001: 2008 standard, which allowed knowing the level of risk in the 3 environments evaluated. being these natural, human, and socioeconomic. For the mitigation of the risks evaluated, an Environmental Management System Manual was made where the files, procedures and protocols are documented to reduce the consequences of the risks found in the different procedures of the company, as well as waste is considered. created by such activities and how to prevent them from harming workers.

    Worldwide, several tools have been developed for adequate environmental management that can be applied to organizational systems, processes and products. All these tools are aimed at minimizing environmental impacts and risks. This project proposes an Environmental Management System for the company Pantuflas CM Original, so that it becomes an instrument that allows compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015. First, a diagnosis of the current environmental situation of the company Pantuflas CM Original was carried out. An environmental policy is proposed with principles aimed at the continuous improvement of the environmental management system, mentioning that its proper functioning will depend on the company's top management, as well as the collaboration of all the company's personnel. Based on the check list carried out in the company with respect to the requirements demanded by the ISO 14001: 2015 standard, it was shown that the levels of compliance with the environmental management system (EMS) compared to the standard taken as base, they are very low with only 37% compliance with the entire standard. The main shortcomings are the lack of documentation, records and procedures required by the standard as documented information. Finally, an environmental management manual is proposed as the key documentation for the environmental management system, consisting of 8 procedures, 21 records, 1 instruction manual and 10 documents that guarantee the correct operation of the EMS in order to improve the company's environmental performance.

    Diseño de un sistema de gestión de calidad en la empresa “Calzado Sinell” mediante el uso de la norma ISO 9001:2015

    SMES generally do not have information regarding the quality management system through the use of ISO 9001:2015 which generates empiricism and disorganization in their processes, for this reason in the company "CALZADO SINELL" which is dedicated to the design and manufacture of casual, sports, classic and safety footwear, the purpose is to design a quality management system that contributes to the continuous improvement of the organization. In the initial research an analysis was made on the degree of compliance with ISO 9001:2015 in the Sinell Footwear company through the use of a checklist where it was determined a percentage of non-compliance of 74.42% being a very high value because there is no standardization and documentation in all processes carried out, also a survey was applied to the administrative area and the production area to know how involved in the issue of quality management system are the members that make up the organization. Based on the requirements established by the ISO 9001:2015 standard, several manuals on the procedures to be followed in the different areas and activities carried out in the company are generated and determined, together with documented information used to support the different manuals such as records, formats, plans and matrices. By implementing a quality management system in an organization, it is possible to plan, execute and control all the processes that make up the company and thus provide a quality product that meets the expectations and needs of customers.
