Item Automatización de los procesos de la gestión de riesgo de liquidez estructural de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito "San Martín" de Tisaleo Ltda.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2024-08) Amanta Manobanda, Mariela Elizabeth; Fernández Peña, Félix OscarThe structural liquidity risk management process is aimed at calculating and recording daily indicators to ensure that the liquid assets of a financial institution are sufficient to cover the liabilities due on time and in the necessary amounts. This research project focused on its automation for Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San Martín. For the development of the system, the agile software development methodology Xtreme Programming (XP) and the Client - Server architecture were used. The system was developed using the C# programming language in conjunction with the .Net framework and SQL Server database server, in accordance with the policies of the entity for which the work was developed. The proposed tool passed the performance tests. Likewise, a value of 80.62 was obtained when measuring its usability level using the SUS instrument, applied to the potential users of the proposed solution. This result corroborates the fulfillment of the user's functional and non-functional requirements. It is concluded that the system for the automation of structural liquidity risk management processes implemented allows the process in question to be satisfactorily managed, avoiding the inconveniences of manual data processing.Item Aplicación web centralizada para la gestión y atención de turnos de las sucursales de la EP-EMAPA-A(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2024-02) Jiménez Castro, Javier Alexander; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoThe present project arises in response to the need to initiate a process of improvement and automation of the turn generation and service process at EP-EMAPA-A, currently carried out manually, inefficiently, and ineffectively, leading to limitations for both clients and workers. The purpose of this research was to implement a centralized application for managing and attending to turns in the company's branches. In this context, data collection techniques such as interviews and surveys were used to identify the needs and requirements for project development. The RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology was employed to achieve constant client feedback. SQL Server was used as the database management system, and React JS was employed for the application development. The TAM and UTAUT models were utilized to assess the acceptance and adoption of the application. This proposal optimized the generation, allocation, and handling of turns, while also enhancing the reporting process, providing the company with comprehensive information. As the company experiences continuous growth, inventory management becomes increasingly complex. The variation in products, suppliers, and locations requires a more advanced approach than conventional methods based on spreadsheets or manual systems. This project aligns with the research line in Information Technologies and Control Systems, aiming to implement a web application for inventory management using an Open Source framework at the "Pil's Autorepuestos" warehouse. The goal is to automate manual inventory management processes, incorporate administrative roles to improve spare parts traceability, and contribute significantly to decision-making. The Extreme Programming (XP) methodology is employed for planning, design, coding, and testing of the product, facilitating efficient supervision of deliverables at each stage of the process, ensuring compliance with the requirements defined by the warehouse manager. The application is structured into three key components: a robust and secure SQL Server database for information management, a backend developed in .NET Core using Entity Framework to provide a scalable and modular architecture, and a frontend implemented with Angular due to its modular structure. The web application is divided into backend and frontend components, for the first ASP.NET entity framework was used in its version 3.1, in which several web services were created, the same ones that are consumed by the frontend that is developed based on the Angular framework. For this reason, technology and programming have led to the development of great surveillance tools, such as facial recognition that helps prevent identity theft and the use of contact with the system, transforming a more hygienic and safe method against pathogens that are found. abroad, managing to avoid crowds and infections. The following research project focuses on the development of systems with Facial Recognition, helping to improve the quality of care in patients infected with COVID19 who enter the San Cayetano Basic Private Hospital on a daily basis. The Face Sdk technology is an incredible tool that clearly detects the facial features of a person, this library is available for several programming languages, in the developed system, the use of this technology and the C # programming language allowed to obtain greater precision in the facial identification, satisfying the needs of the project. In the development of the project, the XP Methodology was used, which allowed managing delivery times and functional interactions of the system before the Hospital Manager, successfully achieving with the implementation and the satisfaction of the Health House. Maestría en Gestión de Bases de Datos, 2018) Paucar Medina, Alex Ricardo; Buenaño Valencia, Edwin HernandoEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objeto determinar la incidencia de las características de SQL Server 2005 en la seguridad de los datos de la Dirección de Tecnología de Información y Comunicación (DITIC) de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato (UTA). La DITIC es la encargada del control, almacenamiento y seguimiento de la información generada por los sistemas de información de la universidad, gestión que se la realiza casi en su totalidad a través del Sistema Gestor de Base de Datos (SGBD) SQL Server 2005, cuyas características no permiten salvaguardar la integridad, consistencia y disponibilidad de los datos en la DITIC. Se detectaron vulnerabilidades en SQL Server 2005 que comprometen la seguridad de los datos en la DITIC, vulnerabilidades que pueden ser aprovechadas por atacantes para causar daños en los datos de la dirección.Se plantea como propuesta de solución al problema planteado, una guía para migración segura de datos desde SQL Server 2005 a SQL Server 2016 en la DITIC de la UTA; que direccione y asegure de alguna manera el éxito de una migración, y por ende permita la migración a SQL Server 2016 de las bases de datos de la DITIC.
