Item Desarrollo de un aplicativo web para automatizar los procesos de prácticas de servicio comunitario de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato(2026-01) Pincha Lema Diego Fernando; Cifuentes Salinas Esteban Ismael; Torres Valverde Leonardo David; Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de SoftwareThe existing system for managing community service practices at the Technical University of Ambato presented limitations resulting from the manual execution of processes, the dispersion of information, and the lack of clear mechanisms for monitoring each stage. These conditions caused delays and reduced efficiency in institutional administration. To address these needs, a web application was developed to automate the procedures associated with the Planning, Execution, and Evaluation phases of community service practices projects. The development was carried out using the Scrumban methodology, which made it possible to manage requirements incrementally and apply continuous adjustments during the system’s construction. The implemented solution incorporates functionalities for registering projects, monitoring activities and hours, managing approvals, and generating institutional reports, providing a centralized structure that strengthens the organization and traceability of the process. As part of the validation process, the application was evaluated by staff from the Directorate of Engagement with Society (DIVISO) and faculty coordinators using the System Usability Scale (SUS), obtaining an average score of 74/100, which places it within the level of good usability.
