Item Modelo de cadena de suministro en los procesos de abastecimiento y distribución en Molinos Miraflores S.A.(2025-07) Rivadeneira Navarrete Johanna Valeria; Tigre Ortega Franklin Geovanny; Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería IndustrialThe supply chain is a fundamental element for business competitiveness in the food sector, where process optimization has become critical to maintaining operational efficiency and responding quickly to market demands. The research carried out at Molinos Miraflores S.A. aimed to design a comprehensive supply chain model to optimize supply and distribution processes as an essential strategy for strengthening competitive position and ensuring long-term business sustainability. The diagnosis revealed an outdated logistics structure with fragmented processes, excessive dependence on external suppliers, and a lack of formal guidelines, factors that significantly limit business competitiveness. To address these limitations, a methodology based on the SCOR model was implemented, allowing for the development of a strategic proposal tailored to the needs of the organization. The proposed model integrates the standardization of procedures, real-time monitoring systems, and indicators that facilitate more efficient management of the entire logistics chain. As a main result, a procedures manual was developed with clear guidelines for the implementation of the new model, facilitating staff training and promoting operational uniformity. This document is a practical tool that respects the company's internal time and resources for its future implementation. Therefore, the research provides a comprehensive strategic framework that will transform the supply chain into a sustainable competitive advantage, positioning the company for successful growth in the domestic market.
