Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-03) Quezada Pedrera, John Manuel; López Velástegui, Jorge EnriqueThe purpose of this technical project is to introduce the philosophy of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), to carry out a maintenance plan with a one-year projection of the most critical machines of the company PLANHOFA CA, based on the application of the 5S, global effectiveness equipment (EGE), autonomous and planned maintenance. The project establishes the necessary formats for maintenance management such as: technical sheets, work order, red card for unnecessary elements, machine inspection sheet and external services. The activities proposed for the maintenance of the most critical machines are proposed based on the manuals, historical data of each equipment, quantitative criticality analysis and the modal analysis of failures and effects, better known as AMFE, with which the critical components are obtained. On the other hand, a machine is chosen for the calculation and implementation of the overall effectiveness of the equipment, for which an Excel format is made to facilitate the calculations and interpretations thereof. The same that will serve as a pilot test to be applied to the rest of the machines if required by senior management. All maintenance activities are organized and classified in the range, to later translate them into the annual maintenance plan. Therefore, the applied maintenance philosophy can avoid as many unplanned failures as possible and thus be able to provide excellent quality products to the national and international market.Item Desarrollo de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para los contenedores y cajas compactadoras de residuos sólidos de la EPM GIDSA de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2020-10) Rueda Barahona, Luis Andrés; Lascano Moreta, Alejandra MarleneThis technical project is developed based on the needs of having an adequate preventive maintenance of the containers and compactors of the EPM GIDSA, for the establishment of the quality of the containerized solid waste collection service. Before to the development of the maintenance plan, the identification of the current status of the equipment was required, for which an inspection and monitoring record was carried out on the different collection routes existing in the city, this allowed to know the number of equipment that works correctly and the number of equipment that have failures, as well as the most frequent functional failures. The scheduling of maintenance activities was carried out based on the knowledge of the operational status of the equipment and the determination of its critical components through the execution of an analysis of failure modes, effects and criticality AMFEC based on a follow-up to the procedure developed in the NTP 679 regulations. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2019) Castro Falcón, Christian Santiago; Medina Robalino, Christian DavidIn this project the behavior of a steel frame subjected to lateral forces was analyzed and a comparative table was established with the same frame but filled with masonry, the mathematical representation established by FEMA was used for the analysis of the structural behavior. The frame to be analyzed was established, modeling was carried out for the finite element program ETABS, after the analysis called "Pushover" was carried out in order to analyze its behavior under lateral forces, the rigidity of the frame was established, maximum lateral load, maximum deformation of the frame, element that absorbs the highest value of shear and mechanism of failure of the frame. 63 frames models were established with different masonry representations that caused a change in structural behavior when subjected to the same Pushover analysis. The results showed a marked difference between the analysis without masonry and the one that had a masonry representation, pathologies and structural behaviors not expected in the previous analysis were visualized, reason why this study concluded that in order to analyze with greater fidelity the behavior of structures it is indispensable the representation of the masonry or a reengineering of the constructive system.
