Item Diseño geométrico de la vía que une desde el sector Arajuno – hasta el sector Juan Vicente, cantón Arajuno, provincia Pastaza(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2023-08) Aviléz López, Johnny Misael; Pérez Maldonado, Ruth LorenaThis project focused on the geometric design of the road in the Arajuno canton - Pastaza Province, addressing the lack of connection between the roads in the Arajuno sector and the Juan Vicente sector in order to improve the socioeconomic situation of the population of the sector and its surroundings. The characteristics of the road were identified by means of a topographic survey with a total station, with specific points of the road to be designed. Continuing, the information of the vehicular flow was collected through a manual count of 7 days (Monday to Sunday) in a schedule from 7 am to 7 pm from December 13, 2022, with which the Annual Average Daily Traffic was calculated, resulting in a 20-year projection equal to 48 average vehicles per day. By means of the six samples divided in 2 sections the study determined as organic silt soil of low plasticity with an average humidity of 52.7 percent; in addition to a percentile limit of 10000 - 1000000 for medium traffic; and the CBR of 5.74 percent resulting in an adequate soil. Concluding that the traffic volume on the road is low, classified as an agricultural production road, with a reliability of 80 percent, as well as that the road will be class III for a mountainous terrain, with a design speed of 60 km/h, both horizontal, vertical and cross section along the project using 100 percent of W18.Item Diseño geométrico de la alternativa vial Shuyo – Pinllopata en el tramo km 0 + 000 – 4 + 000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujilí y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2019) Jerez bunces, Fernando Javier; Aldás Sánchez, Milton RodrigoThe present technical project of beginning with the topographic survey, made with the total station, to determine the type of surface of the land in order to relate to the regulations and proceed with the layout. For the determination of vehicular volume, a method of manual counting was chosen during the 7 days of the week that took place from Monday, June 3, 2019 to Sunday, June 9, 2019 with a duration of 12 hours a day. The data obtained served to determine the Average Daily Traffic (TPDA) proceeding with the methods of the equivalent vehicle and the thirty hour. With the data obtained in the field, we proceeded with the geometric design of the road in a horizontal, vertical and transversal direction, taking into account the criteria and design standards in force in the Ecuadorian state. Once the geometric design was developed, we proceeded to obtain the mass volumes by means of the vertical design of the road, to later elaborate the referential budget of the section of the road under study. The aforementioned procedures are tabulated for easy interpretation and the geometric design is elaborated in properly georeferenced plans.
