Item Diseño del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario para el sector de Nitón perteneciente al cantón San Pedro de Pelileo de la provincia de Tungurahua.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil., 2025-02) Andrade Vejar, Kerly Marcela; Moya Medina, Dilon GermanSewer networks are necessary to improve the quality of life of people who have this service; For this reason, the objective of this project is to design the sanitary sewer system for the Nitón sector belonging to the San Pedro de Pelileo canton in the province of Tungurahua. For its implementation, the project was divided into three different stages that guaranteed an adequate design, starting with the topographic survey that helped us determine slopes and elevations, then the design parameters were established respecting each of the standards mentioned, especially the Bolivian Standard NB 688, which was in charge of the formulas; in order to determine the layout of pipes and location of each of the wells within the project, complying in the same way with hydraulic gradients and velocities, a study of the existing population and its water consumption was then carried out. Finally, an economic study was detailed, in which the items were identified and later the technical specifications, APUs and the final budget of said design were drawn up. The result was a sanitary sewer network consisting of 123 wells, of which 30 were jump wells, including 20 wells connected by means of a 0.40 by 0.40m square concrete channel in the final section that enters the WWTP in order to reduce the speed of the flows. As for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), the result was the design of an inlet channel, two screens, two sedimentation tanks, a percolator and a sludge drying bed. Finally, it was concluded that the designs carried out are satisfactory, since they comply with each of the values established within the aforementioned standards. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2024-08) Benavides Manjarrés, Jennifer Anahí; Moya Medina, Dilon GermánThe Huamboya canton lacks sanitation systems in several communities, which affects the health of its inhabitants; therefore, it is very necessary to have an adequate sewerage system to improve their living conditions. This project includes several stages to ensure an adequate design, starting with a topographic survey to determine slopes and elevations. Subsequently, design parameters were estimated in order to determine the sizing and layout of the pipes, the strategic location of the wells, compliance with hydraulic gradients and flow velocities by applying engineering methods based on current standards such as Bolivian Standard NB-688 and SENAGUA, surveys were also conducted to learn about the characteristics of the population and a study of water consumption patterns in the canton, the design of the treatment plant considering its proper operation and environmental impact, under an analysis of the quality of local wastewater. An economic study was included with a detailed analysis of unit prices, technical specifications and the corresponding schedule. The sewage system design was obtained with a total number of 29 wells, of which 4 are skip wells and 31 pipes, and the referential budget is USD 255,830.37 ctvs. In this work the results and products obtained are shown in detail in the technical drawings elaborated in the following pages.Item Obtención de materiales vitrocerámicos a partir de desechos industriales para el revestimiento de tuberías(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-07) Flores Solís, Erick Joel; Valle Velasco, Pablo RaúlIn this work it was proposed to address the problem of industrial waste management by obtaining glass-ceramic materials for the internal coating of pipes, using the epoxy powdering technique since at the moment there is excessive heat transfer in the pipes. Initially, exhaustive research was carried out on the wastes that are suitable for obtaining glass-ceramic materials, these being glass, steel slag and electro plastic sludge. Information was found on the processes of obtaining materials by combining pure and natural raw materials, focusing on the application of glass-ceramic materials obtained from industrial wastes in mechanical engineering; in the development of the project, tests were carried out to characterize the material, using X-Ray spectrometry to analyze the composition of the mixture, hardness and flexural tests were carried out to evaluate the mechanical properties of the glass-ceramic material; these tests provided crucial information on the strength and deformation capacity of the material, essential aspects for its application in mechanical engineering. It is emphasized that the results obtained revealed the feasibility of using industrial wastes to produce glass-ceramic materials with favorable mechanical and chemical properties. Hardness and flexural tests supported the applicability of these materials in mechanical engineering, offering a significant contribution to the field of advanced materials. The study opens new perspectives for the implementation of these sustainable and efficient materials in various industries, highlighting their potential in pipe coating for various applications. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2022-09) Verdesoto Tenorio, Breslyn Manena; Paredes Beltrán, Bolívar EduardoThis technical project began with a socialization about the technified irrigation system since in the community there is the type of gravity irrigation, therefore the project will benefit the community, it was carried out in the general assembly of the community of Chaupiloma II Continuing with the process in the second meeting an agreement was reached with the owners according to the technical specifications and they decide to accept the semi-fixed irrigation system. Once the approval of the inhabitants was obtained, data collection began (topographic survey, data from the meteorological station of the Pisayambo station, etc.), with the aim of starting with the proposed designs (parcel design and main network). The parcel design process was continued using the IRRICAD V15 Software, simultaneously with this process the designs of the main network were made with the help of the AutoCad Civil 3D Software. With the plot designs, the diameters of the pipes that would be used, the number of sprinklers and the shift for each plot were determined, on the other hand, it was possible to determine with the design of the main network the diameter of the main pipe taken from the tank. existing reservoir in the area, the design of the sand removal system and the different accessories. The project was designed with an initial flow of 25.78lt/s, knowing that the sector is divided into three branches, the same as the data would be the following: Branch 1 (7.65lt/s), Branch (9.46 lt/s) and Branch 3 (8.67lt/s).
